Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center Melanie didn't put too much thought into the strange note until the medic looked at it with such dissapointment. Instantly she was at his side trying to look at what he was reading, having a strange feeling it was about her. Unluckily for her Melanie's short stature was preventing this. Finally the small girl gave up and loked to the medic and the piece of paper. "What does it say?" She asked with a frown on her face. This really couldn't be good. Thara orbit-Republic battleship Meanwhile Kanna and Jason had just got the message, and it was safe to say Kanna wasn't thrilled. "THAT GIRL, SHE ATTACKED SOMEONE?" Jason frowned, not particularly thrilled with the situation but deciding to try and reason with his fuming mother. "Calm down Kanna! Maybe she was scared or something, i'm sure she was confused!" "A SOLDIER NONE THE LESS. SHE THINKS SHE'S SO BOLD!" Jason groaned "No she doesn't! She's just a kid- she's YOUR kid! You should know Melanie's not like that!" Kanna didn't lighten up, but instead walked briskly out of the room heading to the transportation that had been set up for them. Jason followed behind a bit, but worried for the outcome. His sister must be scared out of her mind. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center The medic sighed. "It says...that, as a civilian, you attacked a soldier...and are going to be put on trial for it..." he said. Thara orbit-Republic battleship Soon enough, the Narrohs would be on said transportation and would arrive at the Galactic Forum. (C_R, they can arrive basically whenever you feel like it.) |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center For a second Melanie stood silently in shock. She was going to be put on trial? She had never thought about the consequenses of attacking someone until now.. "On trial?" She repeated, words no higher than a tiny squeak. Truthfully she was starting to feel sick. The prospect of going to prison was just too much. Once again the girl found herself sitting down on her cot and staring at nothing. "I really gotta see Galv now, and tell him..." She decided Meanwhile Kanna and Jason were already on their way to the Fourm's Medical Center where they told Melanie was staying. The trip to this location had been a silent one, and Jason was sure it wasn't going to end well. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center Kanna and Jason would be escorted to the center quickly, and meanwhile, the medic shook his head. "This is concerning indeed...and why would a trial be conducted if your family's identities and condition were supposed to be kept secret?" he wondered. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center Melanie didn't have a chance to offer her opinion on why she would be put on trial (not that she knew anyways, the girl was still in stunned into silence) because suddenly the door to the medical bay opened revealing two people Melanie truly did not expect to see. Standing in the doorway was Jason and Kanna, both withholding a somewhat even expression on their faces. As soon as Jason caught sight of Melanie his face softened and he rushed over to her cot and embraced her tightly. When he pulled back Melanie couldn't help but to offer a tiny smile as he raised her chin and inspected her face and soon after her arms. "I'm fine" Melanie said softly her eyes on the floor. She didn't even dare look at Kanna. She didn't even have to though because without even realizing it Kanna had made her way over to the cot and Melanie felt herself being tugged up to her feet. The older woman stared at her daughter through narrow eyes before speaking. "What were you thinking?!" She exclaimed. Kanna didn't give her a chance to respond. Instead she tugged the girl towards the door. "She's coming with me" She said to the medic, not willing to negotiate. Melanie sighed sadly offering an apologetic look to the medic. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center The medic couldn't back down. "And where exactly would you be taking her?" he asked. "I sympathize with your daughter, but I cannot facilitate an escape attempt when she's being held for criminal proceedings!" he said. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center Kanna dropped Melanie's arm and walked over to the medic, never for a second dropping her deadly serious expression. Reaching the medic she stared up at the man (after all Kanna wasn't very tall) and spoke. "This is my daughter and I will do with her as I see fit." Melanie now stood next to Jason, a defeated expression on her face. "Mom, I don't think I can leave" Melanie reasoned quietly, truthfully she much rather stay under the watchful eye of the military, instead of her mother. Plus if she stayed here there was always the chance she'd see Galv. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center The medic was intimidated. Here she was. Kanna Narroh. Being assigned to monitor and look after Melanie for her stay in the medical center, he had read up on the Narrohs...and Kanna had quite an extensive file. Subject to horrible experiments that gave her unnatural abilities, and brutal training. Infiltration. Assassination. Close combat. NERV had intended to make Kanna a covert ops agent that would put the Specters, TerrInt(the intelligence and covert branch of the Republic's military, somewhat comparable to the CIA in function)'s finest, to shame. Of course, she decided she wanted out and escaped before the program was complete (so she was, as NERV would say, an "unfinished product"), but still, her record stated that she was easily sparked to lethal force, and almost totally unshakable in her commitments. Oh, and the fact that she actually ESCAPED from NERV HQ. All those things were on the medic's mind as he was stared down by Kanna. "...but...but WHAT exactly does what you see fit entail...?" he asked. |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Galactic Forum: Republic Military Center- “Excuse me.” It was, in the best of words, the reception area. A man in a brown coat, who had probably given the Republic grief a few times before, was smiling at a person behind a desk. “My name is John Smith,” he said quickly, flashing his psychic paper at the person in question, “And I am to understand that one...” he paused, then pulled out a paper. It, like the psychic paper, was blank, but unlike the psychic paper, did not become something else, “Miss Melanie Rose Narroh is going to be tried in a military court.” Without giving the poor person time to interrupt, The Doctor continued, “Now, I believe legal precedence, especially with cases of minors, the accused stands the right to have legal console, which will be provided to them if one can not be found. I am here to offer my services, free of charge, to the Narrohs. “Now!” he continued on, leaning forward, “I believe this means that, if they accept this legal console, I must be allowed in to speak with the accused in question, in order to build up a defense.” He leaned back now, grinning, “Which, of course, you'll get right on, correct?” Then, without waiting for an answer, he plopped unto a chair, pulled a magazine from the nearby table, asked if it was the newest one, then without waiting for an answer, began to read through it, waiting for his answer. (It is so much fun playing as The Doctor...XD) -Tamarian- <War-Prince Elfangor! You have gone against our rules!> an angry, elderly Andalite said over the screen, glaring at Elfangor, who stood tall. As the Yeerks had fled, Elfangor was in talks with many over War-Princes, the Andalite Senate, and Military Council. <I have done what I believed to be best> Elfangor said coolly. <There is no better time to defeat the Yeerks, if we accept the U.T.R.'s help.> <And if we accept these...humans help, then they will expect for us to help them!> another older Andalite spat, grinding a hoove into the floor of his own ship. <I do not believe this would be a bad thing. We Andalites have much in common with Humans> Elfangor argued, <I see our goals as mutual. I do not ask to give them our technology, or anything of value, but I do not see why we can not strive towards peace together.> The elderly Andalite from before fumed, <War-Prince Elfangor, we must find you in comtempt of-> <I call for a Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn...> a small voice interrupted. The screens flashed, a young member of the Senate had raised his tail, shaking, but determined. It was quiet. Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn had not been called since the great Andalite Civil War, generations upon generations ago. The elderly Andalite paused, shifting his weight, <You need the approval of at least half of the War-Princes in order to invoke Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn...> <I throw in my support> <As do I!> There was a clamor of voices, the War-Princes from amongst the stars throwing in their support for Elfangor. Many of them were young, having served under Elfangor at one point. Only the craftiest of Andalites stayed as a War-Prince for long. This war had claimed many lives. By the time the votes were counted, over seventy percent of the War-Princes had given their approval. There was whispering amongst the War Council, wondering what was to happen. The young Senate Member continued, shakily, but picked up strength, <I believe that is more then enough for Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn...Now, we must vote upon it in Senate. I nominate War-Prince Elfangor.> <Do we have any other nominations for Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn...?> the head Senate member asked, fingers shaking as he inputted the data. There was no one else. <War-Prince Elfangor must have two-thirds majority in order for him to pass Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn> the elderly Andalite from earlier said, scoffing, <You will hear what shall happen to you once the Senate has finished their deliberations.> His screen, along with that of the Senate's, turned off. A few other War-Princes gave Elfangor their support and luck, and soon, Elfangor looked upon his crew members aboard his ship. <We are with you all the way!> one of them shouted, and the rest followed. Elfangor gave an Andalite smile, <I thank you all...Let us hope we can all work together...> (So you know “Dra Nekrd uv Lyacyn” is something I made up. XD) |

Galactic Forum-Republic military medical center Kanna wasn't a weak person, one could not be weak and accomplish what she had in her life. She was a very intimidating person to people looking on from the outside and even in her children's opinion. There was a reason Jason and Melanie often did as they were told, and it wasn't just to be seen as good children. While Melanie understood very little about why Kanna was so brash and violent towards people on the outside, Jason understood it a bit more. But none of her past experiences gave her justification for acting how she often did. "What I do is none of your--or any of the military's business. You can tell your higher ups she will be punished for her foolish actions (From her spot Melanie bit her lip, tightening her grip on her brother) and that we will be leaving the Fourm for good." Truthfully Kanna doubted they would be able to leave easily, she had been through trials and proceedings when she was younger after escaping NERV and they were near impossible to avoid, but she was not about to sound unsure. "Wait mom we can't leave!" Melanie suddenly said, but she was ignored. |

(Something you made up!? Man, and I was ready to google it...) Galactic Forum-Republic military center The receptionist blinked a bit. "Umm...yes, yes, you can see them...but wait a bit...we've got a small situation in there..." he said. Further inside, the medic still shook his head. "I realize you don't trust the military, not after what you've been through..." he said. "...but we aren't NERV. Your child attacked a regular soldier in support of NERV troops! And you must understand, Ms. Narroh...I have my duty to do...please, try to work with us. NERV's being dismantled, they won't hound you anymore...but don't make the rest of the Republic have to...please..." He did NOT like where this was going... |

(Yup! It's Al Bhed for 'The Right of Caesar.' That should give you a clue to what it does. <.<) -Galactic Forum: Republic Military Center- “Oh, I wouldn't worry about that,” The Doctor said, standing up quickly, tossing the magazine back on the table, “I have a knack for defusing situations.” The Doctor made his way forward, and went through the doors, humming to himself, turning on the spot, and opened a door, leading him directly into the room where the Narrohs were at, along with the medical officer. “Hello,” he grinned, and waved his wallet up, which had his psychic paper in it, “My name is John Smith.” He stepped forward, closer to them, “I am here to help defend your daughter, Kanna Narroh. My services are free of charge, and all I ask is for you to please calm down.” He raised an eyebrow at the woman, imploring her to do so. -Taxxon Home World- The Blade Ship and the Pool Ships appeared in orbit over the Taxxon home world, a horrible, desolate place, that was nonetheless one of the main bases of the Yeerks, heavily guarded and protected. It was here Visser Three had gained his Andalite body... <How many Tamarians did we capture?> Visser Three demanded, turning to a nervous looking Hork Bajir Controller. “Fif...fifty-seven sir,” the Yeerk said. <Is it a viable breeding pool?> Visser Three asked next. “Yes sir...We...we believe so,” the Yeerk answered, backing away slowly. <Then we did not suffer a full loss...The Council of Thirteen will be happy for this.> “Actually, Esplin, they have already put in their request for both a human and Tamarian host.” Visser Three scowled, as the screen turned on, a figure in the dark grinned on it. <Visser One...> the Andalite-Controller scowled, <How...pleasant...to see you.> Visser One chuckled, shaking it's head. The voice was clearly human...female. “Please, dear Esplin, we both know neither of us can really stand the other. I have merely come to tell you of what the Council wishes. I am handling the human, but you have the Tamarians.” Another part of the screen flicked on, and the orange face of Starfire appeared, but in a slight scowl. “Ahhh, hello Visser Four. I see you are doing well. How is that body working for you?” Visser One grinned. “Well enough,” Visser Four answered, “I think I shall keep it.” “Very well. Visser Three, prepare a Tamarian for transport,” Visser One said, then signed off. “I have more to deal with, and feeding to get to,” Visser Four told Visser Three, “Signing off.” Visser Four now signed off as well, and Visser Three sighed, stomping on the ground. <Prepare a Tamarian for transport! Make sure it is fit and healthy!> Visser Three ordered, and several of his men scrambled to get the job done... |

Galactic Forum-Republic military center "I only attacked him because they were trying to take me! I was waiting for Galv!" .......... ................ ...................... Okay. Maybe that wasn't the smartest thing to say. Kanna turned so quickly that she could have got whiplash and within a second the young girl had been grabbed her arm once more. Melanie tried not to look intimidated but it was difficult with the expression on her mom's face. She looked away instantly. "What did you say?" Kanna demanded. From his spot Jason stepped in. He wasn't thrilled, but he also didn't want Kanna to snap his sister's arm off. "Calm down Kanna" He said, prying his mother's hand off of Melanie. Suprisingly she eventually dropped her arm on her own. Jason looked to the medic. "What would a trial for her entail?" He asked evenly. He looked to Melanie. "Could she go outside or something? Until everything cools down" (AGoI the ninja!) Suddenly a man walked in and Kanna, Jason, and Melanie all looked over... Kanna raised an eyebrow. "Do not tell me what to do." She said quickly. "And why would I want your help?" (Hey AGoI do you want them to know it's the Doctor? ) |

Galactic Forum-Republic military center The Doctor's arrival was unexpected, but the medic addressed Jason. "The trial would basically be, well, you know court procedure, more or less, right? Granted, if it is indeed a military trial, it shall be...stricter, at least in terms of proper observance of procedure...in addition to the fact that the military and civilian codes of law are somewhat different...but she would have to be under lock and key somewhere...and whoever's in pushed for this to occur will probably want it to be within a military facility...I'd guess off the Forum..." he said. |

Galactic Forum-Republic military center Jason frowned deeply, not liking the idea that Melanie would have to be witness to such a trial. He was protective over the girl and this was something he had never thought she would have to do. Of course he didn't think she would ever attack anyone either, "Would we be able to accompany her during the trial, and certain legal console (He looked over to the Doctor) if we see fit?" |
