T.R.S. Crusader Didymus listened to the plans proposed, but he appeared, for a moment, unimpressed. "This is all well and good for boarding, but I'm afraid there seem to be a couple variables you haven't mentioned." he said. "First, we aren't going to be able to sneak up on them. We can drop in on them suddenly, but sneaking up will be impossible. This is a battleship. We can take a beating and dish out enough to still come out on top, but it's hard to sneak up on someone. The pirates aboard the captured vessel will know we're here, in all likelihood, before we have our own teams aboard the ship." He paused. "Second, they have a ship of their own in the area. They have to. We have to be careful, they may have several ships in the area. We can't just drop out of hyperspace and think this'll be a boarding op. We need to be completely ready to fight off any...pirate raiding ships...that may be nearby." Another pause. "With that said, we can send you to the control room, Samus..." he said. "...but you'll take some of our slicers and marines with you. I'd like to have some of our own people on systems repair; that isn't a military vessel but their familiarity with general traits in human ship design should come in handy." "Omega, you and another team can rush the bridge, seize control of that." "And we'll send our finest after the hostages. Asuka, I..." he paused. "...how has your shooting been?" |

Haven "I've tried" Melanie said as they continued on, the girl looking up. "But I always end up in really weird places, like on roofs and stuff." She then turned her attention back to Galv. "I should probably tell you....Like three nights ago when I was asleep I teleported...I think...I kinda ended up in a pond a block away when I woke up." Melanie took Galv's arm, leaning against him a bit. "I didn't tell my mom about it. I thought she might freak out" [...] "Mom! Thought we'd stop by to-" Jason walked into his mother's apartment expecting to see Kanna but instead being greeted with Rica and Ethan. Jason groaned. "Do you guys live here now or something?" Solanna gave a happy babble, clutching her father's shirt. |

[Arkham Prison Satellite] The Ragnarok soon arrived at the floating prison that orbited the Earth’s moon. Arkham was the highest security prison the UTR had – it was designed to be escape proof. Aside from having all of the latest and greatest security systems, it was also a satellite, and had no ships of its own. The staff had to wait for ships from the Moon to come before they could leave, and in the event of a problem, the satellite was totally isolated. It was also the place where the most dangerous criminals in the UTR were housed. Soon, Sama and the others coming with him would be on the Satellite. “Man… this place is kind of creepy.” Sama shuddered. [TRS Crusader] “I haven’t forgotten anything, Colonel.” Samus replied. “They will know our ship is here, but we can board the Transport without them knowing our exact location. As I said, the cameras are down on the transport ship. They may have Pirates stationed in the hangar, but if we move quickly we can eliminate them before they can give word, and once we move beyond the hangar they won’t know our exact location on the ship until we make our move.” “The Space Pirates never bring large groups into UTR territory. Our Battleships can outgun nearly anything they have with ease. It’s why they only target our civilian ships. Their MO is to attack a transport ship with a few fighters, and then board the ship.” “They’ll have most, if not all, of their fighters docked on the captured ship. The reason is that they’ll need all of their personnel to control a transport ship that size. So we won’t have to worry about a space battle, or if we do, it will be against one or two fighters at most.” Samus explained. Asuka, meanwhile, nodded. “I’m almost back to my old level of accuracy.” It had taken a little while to readjust, but Asuka was making good progress. [Haven] “I live in your mother’s closet. She doesn’t necessarily know that…” Rica coughed. |

They may have Pirates stationed in the hangar, but if we move quickly we can eliminate them before they can give word, and once we move beyond the hangar they won’t know our exact location on the ship until we make our move.” Didymus grinned. "The hangar? Oh, they'll be expecting that...that'll be far from the only place we'll go in...though how many of them are aboard, anyway? We have marines, yes, but a full-ship takeover may stretch our manpower a tad...if they've boarded that ship with enough pirates to provide a full crew compliment..." He paused. "...well, we can still rescues the hostages and see if we can get the ship's systems online." "Alright, here's the plan. We'll drop out of hyperspace at battle stations and begin launching boarding craft when we know they won't be fired on. The teams will board at several positions, including some hangar bays. Hunter Squad and other units we have aboard will infiltrate in one of our craft designed to...make its own entrance...here-" He indicated an area on the ship to be boarded near the hostage team. "Asuka, you can join a team in support of them, if you really insist on going aboard. The Hunters will deal with the engine room itself. They're...the best we have on board." He paused again. "Miss Aran, thank you for your assistance, and we will have a team of marines and engineers join you where you board. They will do their best to cooperate with you, and will probably be toasting this occassion for the next month." "Omega, you and another marine team will make your way to the bridge. I'll be providing overwatch of course, and the Crusader will be keeping a lookout for any pirate ships hiding in the vicinity. Any questions?" he said. |

-T.R.S. Crusader- “Understood, Comrade Didymus!” Omega said, saluting Didymus, “I shall not let you down.” Omega enjoyed a combat experience, especially when dealing with less then reputable individuals. Not being able to use his massive armament would make things more fun too. -Haven- Galv stopped himself from laughing, smiling at Melanie still. “Well maybe you can practice some more with me,” Galv said, “We can go find a nice open field somewhere, maybe pack a picnic lunch!” “I came to visit Kanna and my children,” Ethan said, holding Aaron and Adrianna still. Erin appeared as well, staying close to Jason and her daughter. She didn't like being to far away from them still, especially with everything that had happened. -Arkham Prison Satellite- “Definitely...” Jimi said, looking around, frowning, “So how are we handling this? Good cop, bad cop? If anything, I think Kimi and I would probably be good at that...” Kimi, naturally, being the bad cop. |

T.R.S. Crusader "Heeeey don't laugh at me" Melanie pouted, smacking her boyfriend in the arm with her palm. "What if I wake up in a dumpster or in some creeps house?" She then took his arm again, squeezing it. "This is why I need to move back in with you, it never happened when you were around....That or I could just tie a bell to my ankle or something" [...] Jason shuddered at Rica's statement, looking back down at Solanna. "See Lanna...This is why you will never be hanging out with your grandpa" The baby just gurgled and yawned. Jason handed the baby off to Erin, looking towards his mother's room. He knocked carefully. "No you can't come in you-" the door opened, Kanna blinking as she looked up at her son. "Jason?" |

[Arkham Prison Satellite] Sama shook his head. “That’s the problem, Jimi… They’ve tried to get information from Ikari ever since he was arrested. He hasn’t given up much of anything. He’s resisted every deal, every interrogation… they used sodium pentothal – truth serum – on him and he just ended up reciting Hamlet for six hours.” Sama sighed, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. “The only thing he’s ever said he’d talk for was a full pardon, which won’t happen… so we need to figure something out.” [Haven] “Oh hush.” Rica said to Jason, dismissing the boy’s commentary. Until Jason headed over to knock on Kanna’s door. Rica headed over to Erin, who was looking… well, in all honesty she looked to be the most messed up one in the group, and that was saying a lot. [TRS Crusader] “That’s fine, but make sure your marines know to follow my lead. I’m not some grunt they can order around.” Samus reminded him. Asuka looked to Didymus. “The only question I have is what are we waiting for? We need to get moving to that frigate!” |

T.R.S. Crusader “That’s fine, but make sure your marines know to follow my lead. I’m not some grunt they can order around.” "They'll know to work with you, Miss Aran..." he said. "...but they'll also have an officer along and I'll be monitoring all teams. Crusader out." He cut the transmission. “The only question I have is what are we waiting for? We need to get moving to that frigate!” "We should be coming out of hyperspace very soon. All departments, you have your orders? Any questions? No? Good. Let's do this. Dismissed." The ship was brought to battle stations, and a group of veteran special forces were staging, preparing to rescue the hostages, with another team that Asuka was set to join... I wonder if I'll get a chance to meet Miss Aran again... Didymus wondered, half-jokingly. |

Haven "Uh hey...Can I come in?" Jason asked, stepping in as Kanna cracked the door a bit. He looked around his mother's bedroom and frowned at a few empty bottles on the nightstand. "Where's Melanie?" "Out with that boy" Kanna answered simply with a wave of the hand. "Is something wrong" "Uh...Yeah, I though you might be able to help." Jason said, taking a seat on his bed. Kanna went over to her nightstand, pouring some liquid from one of the bottles into a glass. She looked back to him, as if expecting more information. Jason obliged. "It's my head again...Or better yet my eyes I guess." "They're bothering you?" she asked, coming over and sitting down next to her son. "Are your powers acting up?" Jason shook his head "Not really. But my vision is strange and my head is pounding. I keep snapping at Erin because of it" "Eh, i'm sure she deserves it" Kanna muttered "Kanna!" Jason groaned. "Not funny....Anyways, any idea on what's up?" Kanna was quiet for a moment, obviously thinking. "It could be a couple of things, but for now I can at least absorb some of the pressure." The woman the placed her hand against his temple, her hand glowing brightly. "I almost hate to bring to propose this, but have you ever thought of talking to Rica about your problem? I mean, he has similar issues." "Oh geez, talking to Rica about much of anything is a chore" Jason mumbled, tensing up a bit. Arkham Prison Satellite Crystal stayed close to Sama, frowning as she looked around. She definately agree with Sama and Jimi when they said this place was creepy...Even Shannon was hissing in anger. Yes. She brought the demon bunny. “So how are we handling this? Good cop, bad cop? If anything, I think Kimi and I would probably be good at that...” "Oh oh oh oh!! I want to do that!" Crystal said excitedly. "Ive never got to use my interrigation skills I learned at the Plumber Academy!.....That or we can just threaten him with Shannon." |

[Arkham Prison Satellite] Sama didn’t think that any interrogation would work against Gendo… but he had a hard time saying no to Crystal, so he simply shrugged. “I suppose it’s worth a try. Crystal, Jimi, you guys can go in there and try to find out what he knows about the Red Lanterns… but be careful.” Sama’s voice turned unusually serious. “Ikari is known to be incredibly manipulative, and he IS a genius. Don’t let him get in your head.” [TRS Crusader] Asuka was suited up in her usual red jumpsuit, although a more heavily armored version of it. As usual, she insisted on using her own armor rather than the Republic standard version… some things never change, even if Asuka had been a lot nicer recently. She was ready as soon as they would be given the signal. [Captured Frigate] On the Republic Frigate, the Space Pirates were in control. Although they had only taken control of three sections of the ship, those were the three most critical sections. Wandering patrols scouted the hallways, looking for any stragglers they hadn’t captured, or anyone brave enough to resist them. Unfortunately, Space Pirates are massive and heavily armored, and their shredder beams can tear through even marine-class armor with ease. The ship’s security forces had no chance. If salvation was to come, it would have to be from the Crusader’s marine teams. Edited by GoldenSama, Dec 8 2012, 07:20 AM.

T.R.S. Crusader The ship came out of hyperspace and its shields were raised, weapons powered up. "Alright, we're scanning the area now...I want to be sure we're in the clear before launching our boarding craft. With that said...all boarding teams, assemble and prepare to deploy." |

-Haven- Galv smiled still, holding Melanie's hand, “Maybe that's what you've been doing unconsciously at night...trying to get to me...” It made some sense, at least to him. He knew he wanted to be able to be by Melanie... “Or just away from Kanna...I know I would,” Galv added. Erin smiled down at Solanna, feeling better with her daughter in her arms. She paused, looking up as Rica appeared. “You're...Rica...right?” Erin asked, thinking. She still hadn't regained most of her memories, and most of the time when she remembered people it wasn't in the form of interactions, but basics and feelings... “You're...Jason's father...” Erin then said, thinking carefully, remembering what Jason had told her, “So that means you're Solanna's grandfather...” She paused, “Ummm...hello...” -Arkham Prison Satellite- “Alright then,”Jimi said, cracking his neck, “Let's get cracking. Crystal, you being the good cop or the bad cop? I can do either.” -T.R.S. Crusader- Omega was in his shuttle with the Marines, ready to lead them to the control room, and meet any challengers along the way. Omega was relishing this opportunity to excel. |

[UTR Frigate] “The way is clear.” Samus said over the com-link. “I’ve scanned the area myself. All of the Pirate Fighters are docked on the Frigate… and I intend to destroy their docked fighters after I board the Frigate.” It was time for the boarding teams to arrive. Asuka’s team was able to make their own entrance on the side of the Frigate. Omega’s team – and Samus’ ship – would be going in through the hangar. “Marines, make your top priority the Pirates. Robot, if you’ve got any heavy weaponry, turn it on the Pirate Fighters.” Samus suggested. [Haven] Rica nodded to Erin, and offered a smile – and not a creeper smile like usual, but a genuine smile. After all, Erin was basically his daughter-in-law… only not totally. “Yes, I am.” Rica said. “And how are you and Solanna today?” |

Frigate Marine teams began landing, in the hangar, and a few stepped forward. "These are the slicers." an officer explained. "Systems technicians, engineers, and such. They'll have to keep their heads down, but their knowledge of human ship design should come in handy." "We've also got demolition charges to deal with any hard targets, but these fighters...simply sabatouging their systems or engines may be just what we need without any big booms..." he said. ...elsewhere, the spec ops team sent to rescue the hostages had infiltrated the ship. The four men in the main squad were chatting on their squad com-link. "Sir, isn't it a little weird the CO's girlfriend is backing us up? You think maybe he wants to get us in trouble?" "It is a strange...flirtation...with protocol. But she's technically not military, so he gets off there. Still...it's unusual..." "Maybe she gets ANGRY. The CO's embracing that part of combat now. He has to be...of course, that's the idea...knowing the next breath could be your last...the feeling of your enemy's lifeblood as it sprays on your skull...it's the only time I feel ALIVE..." "All of you, quiet down." the squad leader said, looking over the three others. "We have civies to rescue. If we do this right, backup won't even be NECESSARY, so who's backing us up will be a moot point. Move out!" |

[Frigate] Samus did not immediately respond, instead she looked towards the Pirate Fighters and scanned them. After a moment, she turned back to the Marines and nodded. “It should be safe to sabotage their engines. Just make it fast. We can’t stay in the hangar long.” She approached the door that would lead to the ships hallways, but did not go through. Instead she called the Crusader. “Colonel, we’ve secured the hangar. We’re ready to proceed to the security room.” |
