[Haven]

Rica sighed. He shook his head. This was so confusing and annoying… but what could he do?

“… Well, you didn’t know, and it won’t do us any good for me to get mad now.” Rica sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “… Wait, then if we decode this, could you figure out Burke’s notes?”

[Ragnarok]

Sama nodded.

“Understood. Don’t worry, if anyone asks, I haven’t seen you since I left Haven.”

He paused. “Thanks Doc. Hopefully with this we can find that stolen Metal Gear…”

[TRS Crusader]

Asuka blinked.

“Who cares how they react? Some people might not like you… but there’s plenty of people who don’t like me.”

Asuka shrugged her shoulders. “Besides… you’re a hero, Omega! You’ve fought in a ton of battles. And if anybody gives you nay sh*t, just tell them to shove it up their ass!”

Asuka has a way with words.

[…]

“I don’t think keeping things in will help at all… but it is your wish, Colonel.” Alouette replied.

[Jurassic Park]

“It’s not the T-Rex I’m worried about.” Musashi frowned. “I did a little research before coming here… there’s a lot of dangerous dinosaurs. If some of the research is right… well, this is pretty damn bad.”

[House Hedgehog]

Tails soon arrived, flying in on his titular tails.

“Hey Manic! How’s it going?”

“I don’t think keeping things in will help at all… but it is your wish, Colonel.”

Didymus sighed.

"Well...take every issue that I HAVE been struggling with, add in a couple more, such as the tension on the Ragnarok or the notion that I don't know if I even WANT to be a couple with Asuka..."

He shook his head.

"I just don't know what to do. It's like I'm being mentally and emotionally attacked from every side, even IF some of it just me..."

House Hedgehog

Sonic was allowed in, and his sister greeted him.

"You're a real pain, you know that?" she said. "...welcome back." her expression softened at the second part.

Haven

"Sit down" she said, pushing him towards the bed and standing in front of him. She then closed her eyes, scrunching her face a bit in concentration. A moment later she puffed away, this time appearing....Hanging from the window ledge of her room.

"GAH! Galv a little help!" she yelped, trying to pull herself back into the room.

[...]

Meanwhile Jason made his way to Claire's, fully intent on just gathering Erin and Solanna, but knowing he probably needed to talk to the woman about Rica and Ethan's discovery....He owed it to his dad right?

No, not really. Rica was a creep after all.

Jason gave a sigh, knocking on her door. He was there.

Ragnarok

"I'm fine, i'm just glad you didn't get mauled by enchiladas with spears." Jade said offhandedly. "Where did you find the Doctor anyways?"

-Haven-

“Still...I wished I had figured it out sooner...” Ethan sighed, shaking his head, “As for being able to decipher the data...as long it's not in code, I should be able to, but don't hold me to it.”

“Ack, Melanie!” Galv shouted, racing forward. He moved Elizabeth to one arm, using the other to grab Melanie's waist, pulling her back inside quickly.

Once Melanie was safe, he let out a sigh, looking at thee girl.

“...How did you do that?” he wondered.

Claire opened the door, staring at Jason with a slight frown on her face. She always had that frown though, so it wasn't anything personal.

“I suppose you're here for Erin and your daughter?” Claire asked.

-The Ragnarok-

“You don't need to apologize. It's not your fault. Just because some of your species are evil doesn't mean all are,” Silver said, patting Cosmo on the shoulder, “Everyone has skeletons in their closet...”

“Good luck,” The Doctor said, nodding and then heading back into the T.A.R.D.I.S. with Azmuth, leaving now.

Ben then turned to Jade, grinning slightly, “Actually he found me, and brought me here. I kinda...tried to escape the Mobians, after realizing something...”

He sighed, turning to Sama now, nodding his head.

“We gotta stop that guy...he could cause a lot of damage...”

-T.R.S. Crusader-

Omega was quiet, listening to Asuka. He paused, and realized that even if that Metarex was right about what it said, there would still be others who treated him like something that actually existed.

“...Thank you, Comrade Asuka,” Omega said, “You are... a true friend.”

-Jurassic Park-

“You would think they would have studied the sun or had something prepared for this eventuality,” Stark frowned, looking around, “It's one of the first things my company does if we start testing or mining in a system, check the sun for unusual solar flare activity...”

He sighed, walking forward now with the others.

Soon, they had it back to the visitor's center, the light still beginning to die around them.

It was quiet, desolate. No one was around. No sound at all.

Then a hissing noise. Something darted past a window in the center.

“...We're not alone...” Cole muttered, looking around. “They're moving quickly...I can't get a number...”

-House Hedgehog-

“You knew I was a real pain growing up,” Sonic grinned, waving his hand idly, “And it's good to be back...So...I've been trying to help out, and one of the Houses, House Equestria, has one of their nobles missing on Corneria, after the Metarex attack.”

He paused, looking to his sister, “So I said I'd help find her, and I could use some help. I got Tails said he'll help me, and I was hoping you and Manic would like another adventure.”

“Count me in,” Manic grinned, “Sounds like fun! Gonna ask Knuckles too?”

Sonic shook his head, “Nah, the Master Emerald was stolen earlier, but it got brought back, it seems, so he's not going to budge from there unless I duct tape him into a cocoon and drag him along.”

Haven

Melanie let out a little breath once she was safe and back in the room. She then shrugged and sat down on the bed. "I'm not sure....I just kinda can....I close my eyes and focus and it happens...It helped me fight Burke too..."

Melanie groaned, flopping back (and giving a little wince)

"If I wasn't already enough of a freak...."

[...]

Jason straightened up when Claire answered the door, eying the woman and giving a short nod. "I am, but I also....I kinda need to talk to you...."

Jason gave a little groan, looking to the side. He really didn't want to bring up more NERV issues...Especially with this woman. But he told Rica he would...

"Is there somewhere we can go...Really quick"

The Ragnarok

"I really wish I didn't though..." Cosmo said with a little sigh, fiddling with the edge of her leaf dress....thing... "Maybe I should go before something bad happens....Would you come with me? Somewhere safe?"

“I understand Colonel.” Alouette said, frowning and placing a hand on his shoulder. “But you’re hardly the first to have to endure so much. And you won’t be the last. History is littered with examples of people who had to endure more than may have been fair to expect of them… but it is when those people DO endure that magnificent things happens.”

Alouette smiled softly. “Things have a way of improving. You’ll see… in fact…”

She paused. “Well… trust me. I think your luck may be about to change.”

[…]

Asuka shrugged, and threw her arm around Omega.

“Aw, hey, don’t get all sentimental on me. I’m not the sentimental type. Now come on, why don’t we head down to the target range? You can show off your missiles and I can burn thing—gah!”

Asuka suddenly grabbed her head. An intense pain shot through her mind, and she let out a groan. A second later, her knees buckled and she hit the ground, gasping for air.

[Jurassic Park]

“Maybe Hammond was cutting corners.” Batman frowned. It wouldn’t be the first time some arrogant project leader decided that it wasn’t worth the time or the money to inspect safety; nor would it be the first time that selfish decision cost lives.

As they made it back to the visitor center, Musashi frowned. He heard the hissing noise.

“I do not like the sound of that.”

[Ragnarok]

Sama nodded. “Yeah, we do. With the Master Emerald scans, we should be able to track the Chaos Emerald he’s using as a fuel source.”

The young commander sighed, rubbing his neck. “Now we just have to hope we find him before he does anything we can’t fix.”

[Haven]

Rica nodded. “Do everything you can… the data on that hard drive could answer a lot of questions, for all of us.”

[…]

In the administration offices on Haven, a group of important people were having a meeting. Among them were, Hal Emmerich one of the scientific directors for Haven, a UTR military officer and starship Captain, and Miyamoto.

“Gentlemen, I want to know what the hell happened.” Miyamoto demanded. He was referring to the giant robots that had attacked earlier.

A peculiar man with pale skin who sat next to the starship commander spoke up. “Sir, according to preliminary scans and reports, the machines appear to have come from a facility in the middle of the woods not far from here. The facility has been destroyed.”

Miyamoto frowned. “So we don’t know what was really going on… wonderful. Well, moving on… Captain, what are we doing to prepare for the Metarex? After what happened to the Mobians, I want us ready.”

The Captain nodded. “We’ve sent a series of deep space probes to act as an early warning system. If the Metarex draw closer to Republic space, we will know. It should also be useful in case any other unwelcomed guests come probing our boarders.”

“Good.” Miyamoto nodded. “Finally… that other issue you brought to my attention… I’ve reviewed it. I’m not sure I agree with your analysis. I’d like to get another pair of eyes on this one, gentlemen. Pass this one along to the Crusader.”

The Captain nodded. “I will contact them myself, shortly.”

"...magnificent things...?" Didymus said.

"...I...guess it's just...well, the last battle was such that..." he shook his head again.

"So much exists to explain away what happened that I'm starting to wonder if anything truly magnificent exists, I guess, TRULY magnificent, not just "isn't it magnificent that we've mapped out ANOTHER corner of existence previously thought beyond our realm"...or on the flipside, it's not, perhaps, magnificent things that I'm doubting, it's the difference they will make or if it even matters, if it isn't just another meaningless or misguided drop in a chalice of chaos and chance, that I'm starting to wonder about..."

“Things have a way of improving. You’ll see… in fact…”

She paused. “Well… trust me. I think your luck may be about to change.”

"...do they, captain? I think some of the things that grieve me are irreversible, inseparable, even...unstoppable. I hope you're right, but that's how it appears, perhaps...as for my luck...I've never really been one to believe in luck in issues that matter, I've always felt that Providence had more to do with it, but...again, with everything that I've seen, that's been PROVEN to exist or be possible..."

He sighed.

"...but how would you know if my situation was about to be reversed, anyway, captain?"

Mobius

Sonia paused, thinking...

"...I suppose I COULD make a visit to a colony..." she said. "...but I can't stay away for too long. SOMEONE has to run the House, you know." she said.

“There has always been chaos in the world… and the more time goes by, the easier it sometimes becomes to think it overwhelming. But the fact is, darkness cannot consume light. And when the light that you shine is Truth, then even if there is darkness all around you, it will never touch you.” Alouette said, with the same small smile still in place.

“I know it weighs heavily on you some of the things that have happened in the galaxy, and to our species as of late. And it may be true that some of what has happened cannot be changed… but there is another, far grander and more important Truth that cannot be changed, either.”

"...but how would you know if my situation was about to be reversed, anyway, captain?"

Alouette gave a coy smile. “Well, I have no idea what your reaction will be, or if anything will really reverse your mood… but…”

She paused. “The truth is, sometimes… certain things are revealed to me ahead of time. I see things, sometimes, that have yet to actually transpire. Never quite a full picture… but enough.”

She leaned back, watching him to see how he might take that revelation.

“… There’s something else. Some advice… do not give up on Asuka, Colonel. I know how she gets… but she is a good person, deep… DEEP down. I told you that when Asuka and I met, she tried to kill me… but I think I should tell you the whole story of what happened. Just… don’t tell Asuka I told you.”

Alouette took a deep breath, and then decided to tell the tale.

“It was back during the insurrection. I was serving on a medical team on a Republic ship. One of our mechs was shot down by Rebels over a heavily populated civilian colony. The mech’s payload – several high powered missiles – detonated, when it crashed. The pilot was unfortunately killed, and several blocks of the civilian colony was devastated.”

Alouette’s voice was a bit strained. The memory was painful. “Some of the rebels, acting on their own accord, began spreading the rumor that the UTR had deliberately bombed the civilian colony in hopes of gathering support for the Rebellion. The truth of the incident was later revealed by a Rebel sympathizer, who found the false information campaign deplorable, and believed that gaining support based on lies would only later hurt them.”

The rebel sympathizer who ratted out the rebels? Rinoa. But that’s a story for another day.

Alouette continued today’s story. “Both because of the seriousness of the situation on the ground, and to try to curve the rebel’s story that the UTR had intentionally bombed the city, my medical unit was sent in to help survivors. For three days, I ran on minimal sleep and food, spending up to sixteen hours a day in surgery. Not a happy time, but… I’m proud that my team was able to save most of the wounded.”

She sighed. It was clear that even as she said it, her mind was on the ones she could not save.

“On the third day, a woman came into the medical tent crying. She said her son was missing and she begged the soldiers to go looking for him. Unfortunately, a colonel had been injured and was in surgery at the time, and so security was tight. The CO of my unit said we couldn’t spare the soldiers for a search party, since that colonel would be a prime rebel target. But… I couldn’t just leave the child missing, so I slipped out and went looking for him myself.”

She turned to Didymus and gave a small smile. “Yes, I disobeyed my CO’s orders… I suppose that’s not something I should admit to my new CO, but… well, I had to.”

Alouette gave a somewhat nervous laugh, and continued. “I went looking for the missing boy, and I found him. His leg was injured, so I started to clean the wound… and that’s when I found Asuka. She was on foot, doing recon. Apparently she heard the rumors about the UTR bombing a civilian colony, and she heard the other rumors that the first rumors were a rebel lie, and she wanted to learn the truth, to report back to General Peterson.”

After another sigh, Alouette once again continued. “So… Asuka saw me, and the boy, and she drew her firearm. She demanded to know what had happened to the colony. I told her I was just a medic, sent to help the townspeople. She told me that I was only here because the UTR felt guilty they had bombed civilians. I tried to tell her that I did not believe the UTR had done that, and… well, you know her temper. She told me to stop lying, and to put my hands up. I refused, and said I needed to treat the boy. It got… heated. Eventually I stood up, pointed my scalpel at her and told her that I had surgery to perform, and if she wanted to stop me, she would have to shoot me.”

Alouette blinked. “… So she shot me. Three times in the chest. The next thing I know, I’m on the ground, bleeding and barely able to breath. I don’t know if you have ever been shot, Colonel, I certainly hope not… but it is a unpleasant experience to say the least. Asuka probably would have left me to die, and I certainly would have… but the boy I had tried to rescue yelled at her. Told her that I had just been helping him, and that it had been the rebels who shot down the UTR mech that destroyed the town. The boy’s father, it turned out, had been one of the rebels who brought the mech down. He watched it happen.”

Alouette shrugged. “Asuka… it pained her to realize the rebellion was not without blame in things. I think that was the first moment she started to believe that she may be on the wrong side of things. Not that she would admit that, even today. She scooped me up and carried me back to our medical tent. When I was out of surgery, I asked to see her. They took me to her… I forgave her for shooting me, and thanked her for saving my life. She was confused by that. She escaped not long after, and I didn’t see her again until the insurrection was over.”

Rubbing her neck, Alouette looked to Didymus. “…I’m sorry, that was an extremely long story… but the point of it is… Asuka, while she is stubborn and reactionary… she has a good heart. She very nearly killed me… and I consider her my best friend. Eventually… and it took time… but Asuka opened up to me. I know in time she will open up to you as well. If she didn’t want to, she wouldn’t have asked me to join your ship.”

"That's still where I place my bets, so I guess I still do believe that, captain...but...you're right. It all weighs heavily on me, on my faith, not even for what's personally happened to me, though that doesn't exactly help...but for what it all means..." Didymus replied.

“The truth is, sometimes… certain things are revealed to me ahead of time. I see things, sometimes, that have yet to actually transpire. Never quite a full picture… but enough.”

Didymus raised an eyebrow as Alouette spoke.

"I don't suppose you've ever had them look at you? I'm sure that there are countless explanations that they could come up with about how metaphasic radiation touched you and tapped you into the timestream of the energy of the cosmos of the-"

He stopped himself.

"...I'm sorry. But I can already hear that. It seems that every alleged miracle that's happened they've found a way that it can be rationalized, it may seem. Even resurrection. That's what gets me so down. As for these visions of yours...I hesitate to ask what you see, due to the warnings against divination we have, but I know there's a thick line between that and prophecy..."

"I know...or at least I HOPE...deep down she is...and I've seen signs of it...it's the only thing that keeps me still wondering...but part of me even, in fact, wonders if Asuka's the one I even WANT...heh."

He looked at Alouette for a moment before shaking his head again.

However, he listened intently as Alouette related her story.

"...to be perfectly honest, I think it may LOWER my opinion of Asuka that she shot a medic performing surgery on an injured child. At least she took you back, I guess, but...I do hope that that part of her has changed. And it took THAT to make Asuka realize the rebellion was not without blame? What about the MILLIONS of civilians they DELIBERATELY killed in the opening shot of the war with the dark matter solidifier? What about-"

He stopped himself.

"...I'm sorry. It's just...I see the rebellion toted as the romantic lost cause in a lot of places, at least a lot of pundits EarthCom decides to test my mettle against make implications that way...it's kind of a soft spot for me. Whether it be seeing my men getting ripped apart in Dollet City by schoolgirls with electicfied whips, or reflecting on the sins of the rebellion and corporations and the chaos they wished to spread..."

He sighed.

"...it would be ironic, wouldn't it? Almost a fitting way at striking back at that ideology, wouldn't it, if I won its most passionate daughter over, one of them at least, and made a proper loyalist out of her. Heh, maybe I could even help make her a little God-fearing."

He slumped over again.

"But frankly I'm a bit more concerned about my own faith and that of our people than her in particular right now...anyway, may I ask why it is you WANTED to see us both?"

"What gets me is not that they theorize, but that much of their theories seem plausible, or at least possible, even perhaps more so than a wondrous explanation. That's how it seems sometimes, captain...I already said I still put my bets on our faith, but I'm afraid I find myself struggling with that...to be honest, like I asked, have you ever let them take a look at you? I'd like to see that-maybe they'll find nothing and be forced to place their faith, heheheh, in the notion that they WILL discover something one day that explains it away or that you're just connected stronger to the oneness of the karma of the bio-etheric energy or whatever the latest pseudoscientific, pseudomystical phenomena they're using to try to explain away God is."

"I have to say, I'm not sure I really find this situation particularly reassuring...if you'll pardon me, captain, the past few years have taught me that the only woman who's smile in my presence DOESN'T necessairly mean trouble or a tough assignment is Rachel...perhaps you're an exception to that, but even Clarke usually only smiles when she's making a grim joke about what the Third is being asked to go through..."

“Sir, it is only rational that someone who does not accept our explanation will look for an explanation of their own. It does not make what you and I believe any less credible, nor does it change truth.”

She paused for a moment. “Colonel, it’s easy to understand why you would be so stressed. Over the last few years you have not only experienced the hardship of command and war, but of conflict that no human being has ever had to experience before. And given some of what has happened, with NERV, the Metarex and all the rest… it is understandable to be upset, even downright depressed.”

She placed a hand on his shoulder. “But I have seen and experienced things that have been incontrovertible proof of what I believe. I believe that when the time is right, you will experience something similar.”

Alouette gave a smile. “You don’t have to believe me. Just believe Him. And now, I must take my leave, Colonel. No matter what happens, I ask you be strong.”

[Shuttle]

“I do not understand the request, sir. It seems highly illogical. All of our findings indicate that there is no real difference between the waters at this fountain and the water on the rest of Earth.”

Two men sat in a shuttle that was on its way to dock with the Crusader. It was the Captain who had met with the President not long ago, along with one of his science officers.

“Hmm. Yes, the tests all showed that there were no differences… but there are some things that science cannot measure.” The Captain replied, philosophically. “I do not know him well, but this President strikes me as a man who is open to all possibilities. Science did not provide an answer to this mystery, and now he’s looking for another possibility that can. I don’t need to tell you, Commander, how important this could be given what happened on New Marais.”

The Commander nodded. “Yes sir, I believe I understand… though many of these details still perplex me.”

The Captain gave a little chuckle. “Yes, well, not having all the answers is part of being human. But perhaps we’ll get a few today.”

Galv frowned, looking at Melanie, shaking his head. He moved towards a crib in their room, putting down Elizabeth inside. He then turned back to Melanie, giving her a smile. “You're not a freak. You're beautiful, smart, kind, wonderful, and so very talented. But you're not a freak.”

He walked over to her, putting his hand on her shoulder, “You're just getting better with your powers. You did a great job learning the basics, so you're learning more advanced things. Like this...I'll show you something I've been working on.”

Galv pulled out a few coins from his pocket, then focused, electricity flowing into them. After a moment, he stopped. He took a deep breath, and very slowly, the coins began to move, hovering above Galv's palm.

He continued focusing, letting the coins fly around the air. Galv then clenched his hands, firing them into the wall, where they sat embedded.

“Ohhhh...whoops...Didn't mean to do that,” Galv chuckled, rubbing the back of his head, “I've only been able to move metal around, with the electricity in it...and only if I pump in some of my own electricity...But it's a start...”

“...If you want to talk, talk here,” Claire answered, “It's safer then anywhere else...”

“Jason, is that you?” Erin asked, hearing his voice.

“I will...” Ethan nodded, “But I can't do anything until we crack it anyways...”

He sighed now, shaking his head. He had a lot of projects now. Working on a way to neutralize Ray Sphere radiation, teaching, and now this...

-Ragnarok-

“Of course I'd go with you,” Silver said automatically, nodding his head, “If you really wanted to. But it's safe here! Crystal's a Plumber too, like me.”

I do not remember if Sama is a Plumber or just like a contact though, and GS is sleeping right now. XDX

“Well, let's see about getting this thing working,” Ben said, grabbing the device Azmuth had handed to them earlier. He fiddled with it, pressing buttons.

A star map appeared, hovering in the air. Right off the bat, there was a large signal near them. Both the Master Emerald, and then a smaller one by it.

“That's probably from that other hedgehog, the black and red one,” Ben said, pointing to the smaller one, “He said he had one powering his own ship...”

He paused, his finger moving in the air, stopping at a planet. It was on the farther side of known space.

“Taxxon home world...Lovely...” Ben said, frowning, “I doubt Hammah's there, but I don't like the ideas of the Yeerks having a Chaos Emerald...maybe we're lucky and it's buried somewhere on the planet and they have no idea it exists...”

And more later after we figure more out with the Chaos Emeralds. XD

-T.R.S. Crusader-

“Comrade Asuka!” Omega shouted, as Asuka dropped to the floor, writhing in pain. Something triggered in his CPU...he was...frightened? He had fought numerous battles, struggled against countless foes...but seeing his friend suddenly in pain, and no enemy to enact vengeance on...

Omega moved quickly, scooping up the red haired girl, boosters activating, shooting towards the hall.

“Clear the way! Comrade Asuka needs medical attention!” Omega yelled, hurrying towards the sick bay.

-Jurassic Park-

“We're close...” Tony said, “If I can just get to my suit...”

“...We should split up, then,” Cole said, “That was a bad idea in the jungle, but here...”

Cole glanced towards Batman. While Cole didn't actually know the guy, he knew of him, of course.

“Why don't you take the others towards where Stark's armor is, Batman?” Cole suggested, “I'll keep whatever it is running around here busy...”

“Sir, it is only rational that someone who does not accept our explanation will look for an explanation of their own. It does not make what you and I believe any less credible, nor does it change truth.”

"...I...I know that, captain, but even from an objective standpoint, a lot of what is put forward alternately seems...well..."

Didymus sighed.

“But I have seen and experienced things that have been incontrovertible proof of what I believe. I believe that when the time is right, you will experience something similar.”

The colonel raised an eyebrow, but seemed to be sitting up a tad straighter at that.

"Truly, captain? I may wish to press you for the details on that sometime..."

“You don’t have to believe me. Just believe Him. And now, I must take my leave, Colonel. No matter what happens, I ask you be strong.”

"...but very well. I'm trying, captain. I really am."

He got up and began to make his way back to his quarters. They were appearently waiting at a rendevous point for someone...

If things keep up as they have been we're probably waiting for the Enterprise or Voyager or Titan or someone...

Mobius

Sonia paused.

"So...what were your leads?" she asked.

Rica nodded. “Understood. Well, until you can crack it, I guess we've all earned a break... maybe we can finally have one, with Burke dead...”

He wasn't convinced. Sure, Burke was gone, perhaps for good this time... but that didn't change the fact that Rica had had terrible luck for more than twenty years, and he didn't feel confident it was going to suddenly be sunshine and roses because one bastard was dead.

He groaned. He needed a drink. Or ten. But drinking was more fun with Kanna than with Ethan. Probably because Rica is a creep.

[Ragnarok]
(XD He is!)

Sama's eyes widened in surprise when the map revealed the location of another Chaos Emerald. It might not have been the one Hammah had stolen, but this could be just as dangerous. It was in Yeerk controlled space... and that was dangerous.

“I agree. If the Yeerks have a Chaos Emerald it could mean big trouble.” He sighed, rubbing his neck. “I think our mission just expanded. We can't leave such a powerful artifact on a planet run by the Yeerk. Of course, I'd rather not end up with a slug in my ear, so we should probably do this stealthily.”

Medical Bay

As soon as Omega rushed into sick bay, McCoy let out an annoyed grunt. Everyone knows McCoy doesn't like machines, at least not the kind who think. He also didn't like having Asuka as a patient again. He saw her entirely too much, and it always annoyed him.

Everything annoys McCoy.

“Alright tin can, just set her down on the bed nice and easy.” McCoy grunted as he got out a futuristic device to check Asuka's vitals. “Damn it, this girl spends more time in my damn sick bay than she does at her job.”

McCoy got to running tests.

CO's Quarters

“Hmm... it's usually better to see the details for yourself.” Alouette said, and she had a grin. “And you should relax. Sometimes the very thing you're worried about can actually end up helping more than you could imagine.”

With that, she departed, still wearing that same wily grin.

Shuttle Bay

With the shuttle having docked, the two newcomers were now aboard.

“Sir, I have heard that there is an AI serving about this ship. If it's alright, I would like to see if I can meet with him.” The science officer asked.

The Captain nodded. “Of course. This meeting with the Colonel is eyes-only, anyway. I'll call you if I need you. Now, let's see if this Colonel is interested in this request...”

[Jurassic Park]

Batman nodded to Cole.

“Fine. But don't get killed.” Then he turned to Stark, and cast a eye back to Musashi, Robin, Grant and Malcolm.

“Let's keep moving. Stay close, don't talk, and listen for anything out of the ordinary.”

“What's ordinary for an alien jungle full of cloned dinosaurs?” Musashi asked.

Batman narrowed his eyes. “Leave the jokes to me. Now move.”
