I can't see what you're imagining

-Tamara- War-Prince Pyddma sneered, ignoring the Tamarans’ signal. <Continue the assault, we have the Yeerks on the ropes!> he ordered. ‘Starfire’ turned around, as Blackfire attacked. “What are you doing?” Visser Four sneered, “You made a deal…” ‘Starfire’ smirked, ready to attack Blackfire, but then paused, the Starbolts dying in her hands. “Go ahead and attack…We Yeerks can then just show your fellow Tamarians the deal you made with Visser Three, and how you let your poor little sister get captured by them and infested…How well received do you think you’ll be after that?” Visser Four smiled. -Galactic Forum: Andalite Embassy- “I need…to speak…to…War-Prince…Elfangor…” Ben breathed deeply, speaking to the Andalite guard at the Embassy, who was looking at the human with a bit of contempt. <And who are you to ask for such an audience?> the guard wondered. Ben sighed, and pulled out his Plumber’s Badge, then took a second to catch his breath. “I have a message to be delivered, from The Doctor,” Ben answered, “Tell him, he’ll know! It’s important!” The guard scowled without a mouth, <War-Prince Elfangor is not in at the moment. He had urgent business elsewhere.> “Do you know when he’ll be back?” Ben wondered. <Let him through…please…> The guard sighed, stepping aside, as Elfangor’s younger brother, Axmilli stepped forward. <Greetings Ben…You say you have a message from The Doctor to give to my brother?> Axmilli wondered. Ben nodded. <How urgent?> “Extremely.” <Come in then. He should be back soon. If not, we can contact him…And could you not simply tell me over your Plumber’s Badge?> Axmilli inquired. The guard stepped aside to let Ben through, who followed after the younger Andalite. “No…it needs to be in person…The Doctor’s afraid someone might try to intercept the signal…Though he admits he doesn’t know who would, but either way…” Ben answered, “It’s…really important…” |

Galactic Forum: NERV Headquarters- "Oh..." Melanie frowned watching the group leave, for some reason not comforted by Galv's parting words. Though she knew Kanna could be brash (which was the understatment of the year actually) but she was her mother and Melanie never wanted anything to happen to her. And Jason....Her heart dropped. Even if they were going to be allright they were still hurt....And now arrested. Melanie sniffled slightly looking to one of the guards that was still nearby (assuming she hadn't been left totally alone) "Could I see them maybe? I want to make sure they're allright" Galactic Forum - Demonstration Area "Here we go!" Eva said with a laugh zooming past the targets at an alarming pace, barely even giving Jordan time to shoot. Of course she knew the teen was one of the best gunners around so he would manage just fine. "So Jordan, what have you been up to since the last time we say eachother-?" Eva circled a couple of destroyed targets. "Other than practicing your shooting" she added, an impressed look on her face. T.R.S. Florence The problem with Cosmo was that though she was forced to mature quite a bit to fit her role as Princess she was still just an eight year old girl. While she was concerned about the wellbeing of others she didn't understand the military's need to be adressing to other, perhaps more vital missions. All that matter was her mother and sister, the two people who had looked after her the small plant-girl's entire life were in trouble. "I don't understand it" She admitted sadly, clutching the sheets of the bed she sat on tightly. |

T.R.S. Crusader-hangar bay Didymus did not look amused. "Look." he said. "You're not even supposed to be here. I wouldn't have taken you on board in the first place if your ship wasn't hyperspace-incapable, and you haven't explained to me how that happened. I'm actually not in as much of a time crunch as you may think, as I'm simply on a patrol and monitor assignment right now." He paused, looking at the docked Eva 02 unit (it's there, right? Isn't that what they came in on?) I know what that is... he thought. "I know that this may sound hostile, but I'm afraid I have to say: you're not taking a step deeper into my ship until you tell me what the heck you're doing on it. Again, I've got time, right now, at least. We can talk about it right here." High orbit over Thara (where NERV HQ is, for those who missed that) (Perhaps we should say that Raynor is aboard a Republic ship.) The Republic detachment orbiting Thara was ready to commence its operation. An officer aboard a ship in said detachment sent out a call (perhaps it was a transmission, perhaps it was right there), speaking: "Mr. Raynor...we're all ready on this end. Are you ready to begin the operation?"he asked. Tamaran orbit Another transmission, this one from Galfore, sounded out on the andalite flagship, roaring: "COWARDS!" Galfore yelled. "You are not the warriors you fancy yourselves! Attack from behind our lines! YOU ARE USING MY WARRIORS AS SHIELDS! ATTACK THE YEERKS FROM ANOTHER ANGLE AND THIS IS RESOLVED! BUT YOU PERSIST IN HIDING BEHIND US!" At the same time, yet ANOTHER transmission, this time from the flagship of the Republic's detachment in the area, sounded out, but more cordial. "Andalite fleet, please reconsider your tactics. You attacks are directly increasing the casualties taken by Tamaran's very limited army. Please approach the yeerks from another angle, and/or accept our aid." a human colonel's voice came. Deep space-NERV ship Misato sat, looking out a window...thing...until finally, their destination came into view, at which point she spoke to Galv and Rei. "There it is..." she said. "...the Paladin-class T.R.S. Crusader, flagship of colonel Didymus. Be on your best behavior. He's already suspicious of or organization...", her voice sort of trailed off. T.R.S. Florence To Cosmo's lack of understanding, her "attendant" could only reply with a "I'm sorry. The colonel is doing something very dangerous, and we've got to be ready to help him on short notice, so we have to stay here for now." |

-Galactic Forum: NERV Barracks- “Sorry,” one of the other guards said, shaking his head at Melanie, “No one has permission to see them.” He paused, then continued, “I suggest you head back into your room for now. I can’t really tell you much.” -Tamara- (Maybe I should have explained a bit better on ship position…XD) The Andalite Dome ships were firing at the Yeerks from outside the actual zone of fighting the Tamarians had been doing battle, but their fighters were among the confusion where the Bug Fighters of the Yeerks and the Tamarians had been fighting. Of course, it didn’t help that many of the fighters weren’t working with the Tamarians to take down the Bug Fighters, many of them not caring it a Tamarian was nearby when they fired at a Yeerk ship. A few, however, were trying to work in conjunction with the local forces, at least as well as possible without actual communications in space. Most of those soldiers had fought with War-Prince Elfangor. War-Prince Pyddma growled, sending a message back to Galfore. <We are the ones with experience fighting these monsters! They are our responsibility, and no one elses. Withdraw your forces if you don’t wish to lose any more soldiers! I’ve lost soldiers before myself, and now! You’re just getting in our way…> Pyddma declared, then cut off communication. <We’ve almost taken down one of the Pool Ships! We shall win this, and defeat the Abomination!> In space, coming from behind, keeping their energy low to stay off the radar, another Yeerk fleet was approaching… -Deep Space: NERV Ship- Galv just nodded, being as quiet as Rei through the whole trip, though, that was pretty usual for him. Except, of course, he wasn’t paying attention to the ship they would be going to, instead glancing backwards from where they came…Worried. |

Galactic Forum - Demonstration Area Jordan had to admit, the new Arrow seemed to be a big improvement. Not just on Molly's end, either. He could shift the pod faster, and the targeting systems were better. If they'd had this during Oban, they might not have had quiet as many close calls. Maybe. "Nothing this fun," Jordan grinned back as the pod shifted back to the right to take down a low target. "Mainly I've been working on a few things with Rick. Though I'll admit I missed all this." High orbit over Thara Raynor was currently in his quarters, preparing for the upcoming mission. He had been on a private transmission with some of the higher ups, though not related to the current operation. When he finished, he turned towards the incoming transmission. "Ha, I suppose I'll let the 'mister' slide since I'm out of uniform." Raynor chuckled as he answered the call, but his tone soon shifted into a somber one. "Alright boys, we're all ready on my end. Let's remember, everyone be safe." Jim sat back in his chair, shaking his head a bit. What a day this would be, if it all turned out. Of course, he was still a bit worried... you see, Raynor was monitoring the status of another operation, or at least, trying too. T.R.S. Crusader-hangar bay Asuka wasn't holding back anymore. "Hey! We're supposed to be on the same side now, or did I miss some memo!? I'll have you know we're working under orders from --" "Asuka!" Sama snapped, glaring at her. She crossed her arms and huffed, but said no more. Sama gave a small sigh. "Eva 02 is fried. There were some mechanical troubles and we need a ride. I thought an old friend would be able to help." Asuka was now muttering very loudly, in German. |

T.R.S. Crusader-hangar bay Diddymus grinned a bit. "You're working under orders from who? Look, Philanthropy and the Republic aren't on the best terms right now...but Sama, you're right. Old friend or otherwise, the Terran Republic military doesn't leave stranded people in deep space. However, as I said, we're on assignment, so I'm afraid I can't drop you off anywhere...you're traveling with us now. Welcome aboard the Crusader. I'm afraid you'll have to go through a security check, involving a number of scans, and otherwise, Sama, as an old friend, if nothing else, PLEASE...don't go creeping around behind my back while you're here." He paused, and sighed. This next part Asuka probably wouldn't like. "As for the Eva unit...I know what it is. I won't have something like that flying around loose. For starters, I'm having it transferred to the Crusader's escort for this mission the...well, the light carrier T.R.S. Langley. I know, I know, irony. I apologize, but Eva units are dangerous, and it has to pose the least threat possible. The Langley has a smaller crew and less combat potential in and of itself, but it can better hold, perhaps, the Eva unit and less people may be hurt if it..."expresses itself"...on a smaller ship." Tamaran Blackfire struggled in her mind a bit, then grinned, saying back (in space? maybe they were touching so the sound had a medium ): "Yeah, sure, go ahead and reveal that. Then, you lose your undercover agent, and I'm just back to square one. They always expect I'm up to something anyway. It's a net loss for you." she said. Meanwhile, the Republic ships, not in battle, were simply monitoring the situation. Monitoring it hard enough that something suspicious appeared on their sensors... They broadcast to both Tamaran and the andalites: "Attention, we're getting some strange readings here...don't know what they are, but they seem remarkably similar to yeerk ships..." the transmission they sent regarding that said. Thara orbit (Wait, have I misunderstood Raynor's role? Is he military, or just a private contractor often called upon by the Republic?) With Raynor confirming his readiness, the operation began. Dropships closed in, drop pods and fighter craft decended on NERV HQ, and the following transmission was sent: "Attention all NERV operatives on Thara: By order of EarthCom and the president, stand down, surrender your HQ and yourselves. Failure to do so will result in your elimination. Repeat, you are under arrest, stand down and surrender." Of course, this didn't swing well with NERV's top brass, but many NERV operatives there simply did as they were told, being only guards or soldiers tasked with security and not into NERV's twisted agenda. However, NERV's brass and their most loyal troops and scientists immidiantly holed themselves up in the deeper parts of their massive base, and so the battle in NERV's HQ began, brutal indoor fighting. NERV commandos were tough, but the Republic troops were outdoing them...they were clearly not regulars, even though they were organized like most any other forces in the Republic's conventional military. Their group insignia, among other things, had an image of a shield protecting the Earth... |

Galactic Forum -Demonstration Area Molly made a sharp turn, taking the Arrow 4 on it's side so that Jordan could take out a couple more targets. As she did this she continued her converstation with Jordan, afterall she didn't have to fully concentrate on the ship to pilot like a pro, it was in her blood. "Well you've been missed" Eva replied, switching a couple buttons and bringing the ship's speed up slightly "Do you know how boring it is to pilot a star racer without a gunner, I dunno how my mom used to do it! Nourasaia Meanwhile far away a young king was preparing to make his way back to the Fourm. With his own planet safe again he found himself wishing to go back to the Fourm in hope to find Molly and apologize for his sudden departure. Galactic Forum-NERV Barracks Melanie bit her lip, looking down at the paved ground. This wasn't good....This REALLY wasn't good. She had just got her family into big trouble and she couldn't even see them to make sure they were allright. "But....They're my family..." T.R.S. Florence "Dangerous?" Cosmo asked, curious. At least she wasn't thinking about her mother and sister "Will he be allright?" |

-Tamara- (In space, no one can hear you argue cartoon physics? XD) ‘Starfire’ grinned. “No matter. As an undercover agent, this body isn’t very good for doing much of anything. I’m sure we’ve captured plenty of soldiers, and could use one of them…” She grinned again, “However, as a bargaining chip, this body would work nicely. Sure, it might strengthen the resolve of some of your warriors, but how long before the realization that one of their Princesses is a traitor in one of the worse ways possible, and the other no longer has any free will sets in? You’ve helped sealed Tamara’s fate.” Visser Four motioned to the battle around them, “Sure, the Tamarians will gain help from the U.T.R. The Andalites won’t accept help fighting the Yeerks though. Their own stubbornness and arrogance prevents them from seeing the larger picture, from making deals. This war will fall into a state of chaos, those humans and the Andalites fighting each other, along with us Yeerks. “And we know how they think. We know how every species ticks. We have hosts of most every species out there, even if only a small amount, such as these newly acquired Tamarian bodies.” ‘Starfire’ chuckled, “Where then, will you turn? An outcast of your species. I doubt anything you could do would let you back in, after agreeing to sell out your species and the beloved Starfire. The U.T.R. would hand you to them to be dealt with, and the Andalites wouldn’t accept help from you either…Face it…The Yeerks are the only ones you can turn to…” Meanwhile, the Andalite fleet was still ignoring the humans and Tamarians, fighting the battle on their own. With all the energy discharge from the battle, they weren’t sensing the Yeerks come behind them…Not yet, at least… -Galactic Forum: NERV Barracks- “Rules are rules miss,” the guard said, with a shrug, “Sorry.” -Galactic Forum: Andalite Embassy- <…I must leave, now> Elfangor said, as Ben delivered the message. <Have my crew prep my private fighter, and check the Z-Space. Make sure I can get there in time!> He yelled this order out to other Andalites, who scurried to do as they were told. <Brother, let me come with you!> Axmilli protested, following after his older brother, Ben racing behind them. <No…You must stay here. This is for me to deal with> Elfangor said, hurrying to the air docks. Axmilli sighed, hanging his head. “Hey…it’s okay…” Ben said, catching up to the fellow teenager, “I’m sure you’ll get your chance to shine…Believe me.” Axmilli glanced to Ben with a stalk eye. <I hope this is true, but I still wonder if I will ever just be known as War-Prince Elfangor’s little brother…> |

T.R.S. Florence Replying to Cosmo, the soldier nodded, and spoke. "The colonel and those traveling with him are, for the most part, experienced, and have some of the finest equipment we've got with them. On top of that, we're waiting to jump to the rescue if things get too much for 'em. They should be fine." he said. Tamaran Blackfire grinned even more widely, and, even laughing, spoke again. "You forgot!" she yelled. "I've not been attached to any state for years! I'm a trouble-causer all over! Tamaran expects the worst from me! You reveal our deal, it doesn't really matter, I'll just disappear again! I'm no stranger to hiding out and keeping out of sight! How do you think I've lived for the past few years, anyway?" Meanwhile, the Republic ships were active again, and another transmission was sent out: "Attention, we are seeing some strange readings, Tamaran command has no registration of them, they are probably yeerk ships, you are ABOUT TO BE FLANKED." |

Galactic Forum: NERV Barracks- Melanie didn't look back at the guard, or protest his words, instead the young girl found herself walking back to where she had been left by Galv. She felt a bit numb, like all that just had happened had done so extremely fast. Now here she was, even more lonely than she had started, no mom, no brother, no Galv. Within a few moments Melanie found herself pulling out Galv's keycard to regain entry to her small quaters. She shivered and stepped in leaving the lights off behind her. Slowly she made her way to her small bed and climbed into it, but she didn't sleep. Instead Melanie let out a tiny choaked sob. Perhaps this was a mistake..She couldn't shake off the worry for her family. Another tiny sob. Melanie looked down at the key in her hand. Galv attacked them? She thought he liked her..... She wasn't sure what provoked it but suddenly she found herself sobbing into the sleeve of her shirt, sniffling every now and then. T.R.S. Florence "Your race is so..." Cosmo stopped, trying to think of the proper term. She finally spoke after a few moments "...Confident.....And direct, it is strange. How can you be sure they will be allright, fate is not always kind..." |

T.R.S. Florence The soldier chuckled a bit before speaking. "We are? Confident and direct?" he asked. "Look, I don't KNOW that they'll be alright, it was a guess. An educated guess based on previous experience, and current factors. As for whether or not "fate" is so kind...well, who or whatever, if anyone or anything, is running the show in the universe, so to speak, may indeed be kind, maybe not. Again, I was making an educated guess." High orbit over Thara As the battle in NERV HQ was being fought, another ship entered the system. A NERV ship. It did not escape the notice of the military fleet holding position over Thara, and it was soon tracked down, and boarded. It was a ship carrying two of NERV's latest captives to their HQ, and was not at all expecting to be boarded by the Republic's regular military. As it turned out, it wasn't quite the "regular" military that boarded it, after all... ...the Narrohs, Kanna and Jason, aboard that ship, may have been awakened in their cells and energy restraints, by the sounds of shouting and shooting... |

T.R.S. Florence Cosmo frowned, the realization of just how different humans were from seedrians hitting her full force. "I'm sorry" she quickly apologized, her eyes falling upon her blanket "I should not have judged." High orbit over Thara The echos of the fighting were carried to the spot where Jason and Kanna were held, though neither stirred until the sound of shots could be heard from a very close distance. Jason was the first to groggily open his azure eyes, blinking a couple of times to adjust to the light. The room was bare and as he moved his hands to rub his eyes he realized he was bound. "...What the..." he said with a light groan, inspecting the device. Suddenly his eyes widened as the realization of what just happened hit him full force. He whipped his head around looking for his mother, though she was nowhere to be found. "Kanna?!" Jason exclaimed loudly before coughing. Just where was he? From her cell Kanna woke to Jason's concerned voice. She looked around tiredly, trying to figure out where she was. She couldn't see Jason but she could hear him. "I'm here" she said, trying to figure out where here was. The last thing she remembered was fighting to get to- Kanna cursed loudly, startling her son in the cell next to her. Jason frowned and spoke. "Good to know your allright Kanna" |

T.R.S. Florence The soldier smiled a bit, and shook his head. "Don't worry about it." he said. Just then, if they were to peer out the window, they would notice that, it seemed, the ship was moving, as other ships and the planet below were "moving". In response to this, the soldier spoke again. "It seems we're going somewhere after all...but without the rest of the fleet." he said. Thara orbit: NERV ship The shots indeed grew closer. Soon enough, right outside the Narroh's cells, more shouts could be heard. The NERV commandos guarding the cells, with full heavy commando gear, ran for cover, but eventually, it was clear that even they were clearly outmatched. Soon enough, the firefight was over, and other men, also in armor (head-covering helmet included), advanced into the detention area. Their armor bore an insignia of, among other things, a shield protecting Earth. One of the men peered into the cells... |

Thara orbit: NERV ship Kanna looked around her cell, trying to find some clue to where they were but all she could see were bare walls. She groaned and tried to think.....They had been fighting...And then shot...But what about- "Melanie! Jason is she with you?" Though she couldn't see him Jason found himself shaking his head. "I was about to ask you the same thing" Jason said. Kanna let out another, frustrated groan "Damn, where did they take her?" "I'm sure she's allright" Jason reasoned calmly, though truthfully he didn't believe his own words. Suddenly the two became very quiet. Apparently something was going on outside of their cells. After a few seconds and what sounded like a struggle a pair of eyes peered into Kanna's cell. She froze, not entirely sure who was staring back at her from the outside. She tried to make her hands glow but when no light or darkness came she suddenly felt somewhat nervous. "Who are you?" She found herself demanding. T.R.S. Thara orbit: NERV ship The soldier looking into Kanna's cell replied quickly, and without a hint of intimidation. "Terran Guard, at your service!" he said. "No friend of NERV's, if that's what your wondering." His own squad leader was already calling it in: NERV had a pair of apparently human prisoners, which they were guarding with some of their best. Their descriptions began to make their way up the chain of command... T.R.S. Florence The soldier who had been talking to Cosmo (maybe he needs a NAME sometime ) was about to speak, when a voice sounded over the ships intercom: "Prepare for hyperspace jump. Destination: Avalon." The soldier spoke. "Hmm..." he said. "...Avalon? Oh, that place. We had a little civil war over a year ago...Avalon was battled over in it. Now it's something of a military command center in the Outer Colonies region...wait, you don't know what the Outer Colonies region is...well, either way, it's a pristine planet, and I don't know why we're going there...maybe a higher-up officer or diplomat wants to meet you in person!" he said. |
