GRAPPLING HOOK!

-NL Apocalypse- Melanie stared at Galv, wide eyed. Of course she still loved him, but the poor girl was confused. She wasn't supposed to be focusing on herself right now, Jason had just died and her mother was in shambles. Of course, that was hard to explain. Instead she just stared at him, the two in awkward silence. "I do" she finally said, not wanting him to get tired of her and leave. "It's just...." she went quiet again. " I know it sounds dumb but i'm not suposed to be worrying about this now, not with everything else going on...I gotta take care of my mom, and take care of things, and-" She trailed off, looking rather overwhelmed. |

-NL Apocalypse- Galv faltered, looking to the floor, then the door, then back to Melanie. He took a deep breath, and walked over to Melanie, taking her hands. “You don't have to do anything...” Galv said, softly, “We do. Let me help you take care of things. You shouldn't have to do this alone, and I'm not going to let you.” He gave a weak smile, “I'm here to help you, with anything. I told you I'd be here for you, and I intend to keep my promise.” |

-NL Apocalypse Melanie gave a small weak smile, attempting to look reassured. She looked down at their hands, and once again her face went red. "You shouldn't have to worry about all of this....You didn't ask for it. I don't know how to feel or what to do, and my mom won't even look at me...I'm kinda scared..." Melanie gave a tiny laugh, trying to lighten the situation, and trying not to sound desperate. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to worry you.." |

And I mean that.” He smiled faintly, leaning forward, “Don't ever think otherwise. I love you, and that's never going to change.” (Short post is short.) |

NL Apocalypse Melanie stared at Galv once more, before launching herself at him, hugging him tightly. "I wish I could ask him-Walter-why he had done it...Killed Jason. How could someone do something like...Like that" Obviously she was not aware of the actions of her mother, or many of the others on the ship. The poor girl was probably the only one around who never had to attempt such an action, or at least contemplate it. |

[TRS Crusader] "To be honest, sir...you don't owe me a thing. Again, the only thing I would take issue with is the extra danger it put my men in-and even that's part of the job. Even if you did...to be frank, sir, I don't know what to ask for. To be honest, there are a number of things..." Fury nodded his head. “It is regrettable that anyone had to be in extra danger… but considering the risk we faced, it was not a unreasonable thing we did. Had the corruption been allowed to spread – had that Yeerk been able to infect someone with access to the EarthComm Council…” He did not need to elaborate. Didymus would understand the danger; Fury was confident of it. “At any rate, if you ever need me, hail the Marvel. They always know where to find me. One more thing, Colonel…” He reached into his jacket, and pulled out a small CD. “While investigating Philanthropy and the possible spread of corruption, I did compile a list of ‘trustworthy’ assets. I know my actions have been partially to blame for creating distrust between you and that organization. I hope these files may lay bridgework to repairing whatever problems my investigation has caused. And as I said, if you ever need a favor…” […] Sama nodded to the group. “Alright then!” He placed a quick call (via his CODEC) to Otacon, informing him of the group’s new plan and destination. Soon, the Ragnarok would be ready to go. Of course, Cosmo and Silver weren’t quite in a position to leave – yet. “Now, I just need to call D and smooth things out with him. Shouldn’t be a problem!” Sama gave a grin, pressing the nanomachine button behind his ear and placing a call to Didymus’ PDA. “Yo, D! Listen, the little Seedrian girl, Cosmo, needs to be around plant life for a bit. It’s part of her species. I know of a undeveloped planet not too far from here. We’re going to transport her and Silver via the Ragnarok… you feel like coming?” [NL Apocalypse] Rica was still not entirely happy… but he said nothing else. Instead, he took off in hopes of finding Melanie and giving her a head’s up about Nova’s intentions. Luna, meanwhile, obeyed her boss and started the transition process. |

T.R.S. Crusader Didymus eyed the disc Fury held out. "I take it you're offering me that disc, sir? Very well..." he said, reaching for it. He would perhaps call on Fury sometime. Perhaps. For now, he took the disc. "Thank you sir. Hope you have a good day." “Yo, D! Listen, the little Seedrian girl, Cosmo, needs to be around plant life for a bit. It’s part of her species. I know of a undeveloped planet not too far from here. We’re going to transport her and Silver via the Ragnarok… you feel like coming?” Didymus paused, then shook his head and responded. "Sama, if you're going to be a proper colonel..." he could hardly believe he had said that. "...you may want to remember that people cannot simply come or go as they please in our line of work, espeically in a time of war. With that being said...I DO appricieate the invitation, but..." He stopped himself from saying "I've had enough of Philanthropy for now". "...I have to check this with the higher-ups. Cosmo is TECHNICALLY supposed to be on this ship..." A few moments later, he responded again. "Cosmo can go along with you...and as for me, the Third just got new orders. I can't go with you. Thanks anyway." Indeed, he passed the orders, and the Third started to move, as another Republic fleet moved into the system... Meanwhile, Didymus sent out a call...a couple of them. Both Asuka and E-123 Omega were to report to his office/quarters. Acorn Palace, Mobius Sally was...distressed...when she heard of her visitors. Nonetheless, they were permitted entry... |

NL Apocalypse Desty Nova grinned as Rica passed him by, not looking too happy, but this situation wasn't exactly a happy one... Well, except maybe for Nova, who was having a blast watching all of the events happen on the deck of his very own ship. But now, it was time to leave. With Luna's preparations complete, the Apocalypse was ready to travel to its next destination, and Desty Nova pulled up the screen to the bridge, issuing his orders. "We are beginning process. Luna, be a dear and start the system. Elf, Zwölf, you're her aides in this. Make sure everything goes smoothly, I do NOT want to be missing any pieces after transition this time." The two gynoids saluted in response. Detsy gave his last order to Sechs. "Sechs... Take us away." The android grinned and started up the drive. "Sir, yes, sir!" The Apocalypse made a quick turn-about, facing away from the desolate planet, and started moving forward. As it did, the space in front of it began to rip apart, revealing a rift into a black nothingness into which the ship sunk itself. The rift then closed behind the ship, leaving not even a trace of its location behind... [---] The Apocalypse flew through utter darkness as the work Luna, Elf and Zwölf worked to keep the reality matrix around the ship intact and running. Outside of the boundary laws of time and space, the laws that governed motion, distance, time or any sort of physical matter were absent, and anyone who would enter this place by accident would find that they no longer exist. Not Nova. He had developed a system that kept a bubble of "reality" around his ship, allowing it to traverse in this black, lawless nothingness. It was this very bubble that Luna was meant to watch VERY carefully. However, their passage was flawless. Not a single error. Not a single shake. The ship simply passed through the black nothingness until something loomed far ahead, a glowing speck amongst the darkness. As it got closer, the shape got larger and larger and larger... Until it was revealed to be a HUMONGOUS ship. A large battlecruiser as large as a heavily-populated space colony was drifting within the emptiness. By now, Desty Nova has moved back onto the bridge, and he opened up communications to every single room on the Apocalypse. "We are now arriving at our next destination, ladies and gentlemen. For those of you who are curious, please do come up to the bridge. I would be glad to see you all. We shall be disembarking the moment we dock. Those who do not wish to disembark, please inform me of your decision. Desty Nova out." He turned off the comm and grinned at Luna. "Welcome, my new assistant... To the Black Omen!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Azmuth's Firefly chaos couldn't be happier. The Doctor knew where to find Nova! This was wonderful news! "Very well. Ben? It's your call, but I would much appreciate it if you let The Doctor come through. He knows where this person I am searching for is, and I need that person's help to repair KOS-MOS. That poor girl... I wish I could do more for her, and I feel so helpless..." He shrugged a bit, smiling weakly. "Still, this is probably the best news I've heard." |

-T.R.S. Crusader- Silver breathed a small sigh of relief. Cosmo was allowed to go. He knew he'd make sure Cosmo could go if she wanted to anyways, but now it meant he wouldn't have to fight or anything. “Alright, looks like we're going!” Silver grinned. Elsewhere, Omega received the summons, and headed for Didymus' office/quarters. He'd be there by Vidit's next post! -NL Apocalypse- Galv hugged Melanie back, just as tightly. "I wish I could ask him-Walter-why he had done it...Killed Jason. How could someone do something like...Like that" He frowned slightly, wishing he had an answer to give. But he didn't. “I...don't know, Melanie...” Galv told her, “There usually isn't any good reasons for killing...” If Rica were to find the two, he'd open the door to see them embracing still. -Mobotropolis: Acorn Palace- King Mickey entered the Palace, walking slowly. He stopped at the guards, letting them make sure he wasn't carrying any weapons, and left a very small box that had been on his person with them. After all, he was here for peaceful reasons. When Mickey got to Princess Sally, he bowed low. “Greetings, Princess Sally. Forgive me for intruding. I had heard of the troubles our sister planet is having, and I wished to try and help. I'm a neutral third party, for instance, and could help negotiate talks, if needed,” Mickey said, staying low, until he straightened back up, “I also have heard of several attacks by robots of some kind. Disney does not have a standing army, but we do have several individuals who are combat worthy, if you require that assistance that way.” He paused, then continued, “Additionally, if you would just like me to leave and not meddle, I shall do so as well. I admit, the world of politics is a strange one to me. I was but a river boat captain before the colony ship I was on crash landed.” Mickey smiled, hoping to try and relieve the mood some. -Planet Nemesis: Zedd's Palace- (Because I completely forgot this... >.<) “How to find the others?” Walter wondered, “Well...We can't track them. But I believe most of them should be with a man who calls himself Desty Nova, if you've heard of him.” -Azmuth's Firefly- “Of course The Doctor's coming,” Ben told chaos, “I couldn't stop him even if I wanted to.” He chuckled, “But seriously, KOS-MOS does need help. And worse comes to worse, we can just split up the group.” |

(Got sidetracked writing this post, that's I've been technically posting for so long. XD) T.R.S. Crusader Didymus' quarters Didymus looked over Omega. "E-123 Omega." he said. "The Third has received new orders-we are going to safeguard a high-profile diplomatic summit. This meeting is somewhat...controversial. Still, it's been decided that we're going to have an...emergency ceasefire...with the yeerks, as well as perhaps a solidifying of our alliance with the andalites. Again, these will be highly sensitive, highly controversial talks. As such, it is important they go as smoothly as possible. As you may know, we currently hold a number of prisoners with considerable ties-and nostalgia-for rebellions causes, who would likely see this as a good opportunity to strike. This is simply to remind you and reaffirm your assignment: those prisoners in our brig, particularly the young women who seemed intent on antagonizing me...DO NOT let them out. DO NOT let them fiddle with equipment. Watch them and keep them in. They CANNOT be allowed to disturb the conference." Acorn Palace, Mobius Sally sighed. "To be perfectly frank...it may be best if you did not intervene." she said. "One of the last things I need right now is for my people to see the results of a splinter colony estranged from the greater dominion we hold..." she said. Besides, she wanted to come off as strong, without having to ask for outside help in dealing with the robot attacks...despite the fact the Republic garrison consistently intervened. |

-T.R.S. Crusader- “Understood, Colonel,” Omega said, and saluted Didymus. “The prisoners will not be allowed to leave their cells.” The robot paused, as if considering something, “Forgive my intrusion, but you appear to have elevated stress levels. If you are worried, please keep in mind, I am here to help you and the U.T.R. I will not fail in any mission you give me.” -Mobius: Acorn Palace- “Understandable,” Mickey told Sally, “If you change your mind, don't hesitate to ask. While we might have separated due to fate, my people and I still wish to keep close ties.” He turned to leave now, “Do keep me in mind if you do need a third party to help negotiate. I hear that the general Amadeus is promoting democracy. Considering Disney decided on being a constitutional monarchy, we are something in the middle of the two ideologies, so I won't be biased.” Unless Sally then asked another question or wanted him to leave, then he'd leave the Palace... |

[TRS Crusader] "Sama, if you're going to be a proper colonel..." Sama had to stop himself from laughing at the word “proper”. The entire reason he had joined the covert operations end of things was so that he could have a more lax time with rules and regulations. Sure, Sama wasn’t the ideal soldier when it came to those types of things, but when lives were on the line, he was all business. When permission came down the ladder, Sama gave a thumbs up to Cosmo. “We’re all set! Everybody, let’s board the Ragnarok!” Once aboard, they would find themselves in the main room, where Otacon had already prepared a small meal incase anyone was hungry. The ship would soon depart the Third Fleet and make it’s way towards the uninhabited jungle planet… […] Asuka soon arrived, for once not looking as grumpy as she normally did. Instead, she seemed quite calm and relaxed – and very un-Asuka-like. “You called, Colonel?” She asked, walking over to him, and nodding to E-103 Omega. [NL Apocalypse] Just as the Apocalypse arrived at its destination, Rica arrived to find Galv and Melanie embracing. He did not begrudge their relationship, but he did have to interrupt them at the moment, as he was pretty sure Nova’s (possibly insane) plans was something more important than two teenagers hugging. “Excuse me, Melanie, Galv, I have to speak with you both. That man, Professor Nova, wants to make a copy of your necklace, Melanie. He’s rather adamant about the whole thing.” Rica frowned. He hated to put yet ANOTHER burden on the children, especially after the recent passing of Jason, but he was out of time and out of options. “From what I understand, you can have the necklace back after he’s done so, and there should be no harm to it… Whether you give it to him or not is your choice, and I will back you up either way, but I need to know what your choice IS.” Rica did not understand why he was being so nice at the moment. Perhaps he knew Melanie was in pain, and wanted to let her feel like she had control over SOMETHING in her rather complicated life… but then again, Nova did have the power to kill them all if he so chose. Rica was weakened, and Ethan would not be enough to defeat them all. |

T.R.S. Crusader "...thank you, Omega, but, in this regard..." He took a deep breath. "...making sure those prisoners don't get out or mess anything up should do well to prevent my stress level from rising." Asuka appeared. She didn't even look angry. Good, he supposed. "Ah. Miss Soryu." he said. "As I was just telling Omega here, we're heading to an emergency diplomatic summit. The Third's to provide security, and just make sure the event goes smoothly and safely. That summit includes talking with the yeerks. Still, these are highly sensitive talks-perhaps even controversial talks. I don't know how you feel about the yeerks, but I know that there are some people who may see this as an opportunity to strike a blow-even if only for publicity-against the Republic. Or, if nothing else, a blow may be struck against it-in publicity terms-if some soldier shoots her mouth off to the face of any number of high-level dignitaries attending." He sighed. Asuka was calm, this would probably make her hostile to him (again), though. "You're a part of my squad as is. I wonder if it wouldn't be prudent that I personally kept my eye on you for the duration of the summit...?" |

NL Apocalypse Melanie and Glav's hug didn't last too long as it was interrupted by a familiar voice. Melanie looked up, rather red in the face, to Rica and took a step back from Galv for the time being. While she was happy that she would get the necklace back there was one thing she was curious about....Actually worried about more than curious... "What does he want with it in the first place?" she asked quietly, hoping it had nothing to do with Jason or them... T.R.S. Crusader "Oh thank you!" Cosmo said happily, anxious to see what the planet would be like...she had never been able to transform....this was new and exciting...And a bit scary! But that was just part of the adventure right? |

NL Apocalypse The ship slowly came closer to the massive colony-sized battleship, completely eclipsed by its size. Small specks of light could be seen exploding here and there, but the ship simply moved on, and the Apocalypse soon came floating into what could possibly be one of the largest ship docks amongst space colonies. It had enough space to house several Battlecruisers and then some. Everything here looked and shined of Nova's hand: Everything was clean, spotless, and very well made, combining style and efficiency with power that was almost unsurpassed. The Apocalypse flew through the dock, finally docking to one of the bays after it was grappled by two massive docking arms. Once it was in place, Sechs cut off the engines and the two gynoid twins immediately set the ship into standby mode, letting it be recharged as it was quickly hooked up to the main systems of the massive Black Omen. Desty Nova grinned and again opened up the communication to all rooms within the Apocalypse. "We have docked. Melanie, if you would please meet me at the exit to the docking station within the next 10 minutes, I would like to get this process over with quickly and painlessly. Those of you who feel like coming along, feel free to do so. Nova out." Turning off the communications line, Desty Nova grinned at Luna and clapped his hands, rubbing them in glee. "I am almost there! ALMOST there! Come, Luna! There is someone I want you to meet!" And he swept out of the bridge, heading towards the docking station... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Ragnarok Jagan shadowed Sama throughout the entire time, arriving on the bridge at the same time as the man. He only made one slight detour, coming by the hangar, only to return minutes after and boarding the Ragnarok along with everyone else. As he left, only a few people became aware of the fact that the Andromeda was now suspiciously missing from the Hangar bay. Arriving on the Ragnarok in the main chamber, Jagan looked around with only a smidge of curiosity peeking through. This place was surprisingly similar to the design of the Apocalypse, and he wondered just how similar the ships really were. He was not sure whether it was coincidence or the fact that the two ships were built off of one another, but this area seemed entirely too familiar. It almost looked like the Apocalypse's conference chamber. He made sure to glance over the group before asking in his usual, curt voice. "Requesting permission to set the Andromeda within the hangar, sir." |
