I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Galactic Forum: Narroh Apartment- "Still, thank you," Galv smiled, making his way back to the kitchen, "I did not mean to be a bother..." "I wonder when I'll have to make my move against them though...Can I really keep up a charade like this...? After all...I'm...getting confused..." He was being exposed to concepts he never really understood or heard of. He was part of NERV, right? Simply a tool for them to use. A smart tool, granted, but a tool nonetheless. He had never seen anything differently. But these people...The person they wanted, Kanna...She wasn't a tool...was she? And if she wasn't...Could he be his own as well? -Galactic Forum: Meeting Room- As everyone was talking and arguing, their was this sudden noise...It sounded like a song... The Doctor chuckled, pulling out a cell phone and opened it up, and talked into it. After a few moments, he hung up, and excused himself. There was some talking among the Andalites, and Elfangor excused himself as well. The Andalites had also picked up the ship, obviously. -Galactic Forum: Earth Gardens- "Of course," Ben said to Starfire, "I understand...If you want, you can just keep it for now. No strings attached." -Mobius: Space- By either some miracle or Sonic's skill, the Firefly ship was in space, and Sonic was plotting a course to the forum. Silver sat in the co-pilot's seat, staring at his Plumber's Badge. It seemed important...But he couldn't remember why... |

Outside Galactic Forum The Ryo-Ohki was a massive ship, and one that the Forum's security would recognize if they searched for it. The ship belonged to a wanted Space Pirate, a criminal who had thousands of warrants and was wanted for, well, pretty much everything. "Heheheh... About time!" Ryoko grinned from her seat as the Forum loomed into view. "I'm here -- good. Eh?" She spotted the many ships, and the gigantic Paladin-class battleship. She blinked, and then started laughing to herself. "Oh good! Security looks tight. This should be fun." Without warning, Ryoko opened fire; sending giant red balls of energy flying from the Ryo-Ohki towards the ships. |

-Outside the Galactic Forum- As the Ryo-Ohki shot at the U.T.R. ships, a brilliant green lance of an energy weapon fired at her from the forum. The Andalite Dome Ship that Elfangor had come in had undocked, and bringing it's Shredder beams to bear on the enemy as well. <Sorry to butt in> Elfangor said over the communicator, <But in the interests of working together, I thought it would be good to add in the power of an Andalite Dome Ship.> Dome Ships were the best of the best for an Andalite ship. It was large, bristled with weapons, and had a number of well trained warriors, in addition to smaller fighters that could come from it as well. <This is War-Prince Elfangor of the Andalites hailing the Ryo-Ohki...You are outnumbered and outgunned. I suggest you give in peacefully.> Meanwhile, aboard the Yeerk Blade Ship, Controllers were scrambling, not entirely sure what they should do... |

Outside the Galactic Forum The Ryo-Ohki is equipped with powerful shields; and while they weren't perfect by any means, they could take a lot of punishment before they'd be rendered useless. As the Shredder Beams headed her way, Ryo-Ohki swerved, dipped, dodged and dove in all directions to avoid as many as she could -- and what she could not evade impacted the shields. They were weakened, but not destroyed. As Elfangor spoke to Ryoko, the Space Pirate laughed her head off. "Oh! You're a riot, you know that? You've got more guns and more ships -- but to me you're all just a swarm of flies about to get swatted!' Ryoko increased the number of beams her ship fired. Of course, Ryo-Ohki doesn't just fire in one direction -- she can fire 360 degrees around herself at all times. It's basically a star-shaped fortress that causes massive destruction all around. Smaller ships, and those without high-grade defenses would be helpless. The larger ships, and the better-defended ones could prove to be a challenge -- but catching Ryoko was tough. After all, unlike most spaceships, Ryo-Ohki is a living creature with a mind all her own. Not just artificial intelligence, but actual biological intelligence. It had all the subtleties that AI lacked. It made the ship a dangerous foe. Of course, even with the advantages of the living spaceship, Ryoko had no hopes of defeating all the ships she was taking on. There were too many, and although the space pirate would never admit it, she would have a hard time taking down the command ships simultaneously. Still, Ryoko wasn't giving up. She kept flying towards the Galactic Forum. Her ship was being pounded and the shields were quickly going down -- but Ryoko wasn't afraid. "Come on! Show me what you can DO!" Ryoko taunted. Flux Sama was still at the nightclub, trying to think of an excuse to elude Blackfire and get back to his mission; when E.E. contacted him again. "We've got a problem..." As E.E. explained over his head set, Sama groaned and banged the bar with his fist. "Just great!" |

Galactic Forum-Security and Traffic Control Room The pirate ship was still heading straight for the Forum. Didymus was standing over a command console, looking over the situation. The U.T.R. ships were blasting away at the incoming ship, but it refused to deviate from its course. (Just to talk more about a ship class :As the name implied, the Paladin-classes were designed to be the shining knights in whatever fleets they were in. They were designed to be able to go toe-to-toe with any ship on the known galaxy one-on-one and still come out on top. With plenty of state-of-the-art weapons (including anti-fighter systems in addition to), defenses (shields, armor, etc.), and systems (computers, scanners and sensors, etc.), along with a considerable marine compliment, Paladins were, to be frank, the most powerful ships in the U.T.R.'s current fleet)."Incoming vessel! Break off your hostile course at once!" he said. He doubted that his words would have much of an effect, but he said them nonetheless. In response to Elfangor's entry, he spoke up again. "Interrupting? Not at all. If you refused to defend this station or stood down while it was being attacked, then we'd have a problem with your conduct." He spoke another command. "Hostile is continuing on collision course. Begin projections of possible impact and evacuate those areas. Fleet, don't let up. We've got 'em outgunned, focus power output into your weapons and remove the hostile." he said. Didymus continued to direct the battle, or at least, the U.T.R.'s part of it. Flux Blackfire was surprised by Sama's remark, and questioned him. "What? Is my buying you a drink so bad? Or is there something else?" she asked. |

-Galactic Forum: Space Battle- As the Andalite Dome Ship raised it's shields to defend itself, a red beam of energy shot out from the Forum as well. A Dracon beam from the Yeerk's Blade Ship! "This is Sub-Visser 49," a voice went out over the channel, "Visser Three has...errr...given me temporary command of the Blade Ship to help deal with this intruder. The Yeerk Empire will not sit idly by..." It seems the Yeerks decided the best method would be to help out. Which now meant that Ryoko was against an U.T.R. Paladin, an Andalite Dome Ship, and a Yeerk Blade Ship... And her ship might be detecting a strange signal. A blue police box was floating in space... |

Nourasia Prince Aikka watched carefully as a large group of Noursian men made their way to a large ship heading to the Galactic Forum in just a matter of minutes. Each was dressed in the usual armor and for protection carried large daggers and bows. In a few moments Aikka would join the group, but for now he was saying his goodbyes. The now king looked over to his mother who had a large bag in her hands. She was instructing one of the men to put it in the ship, no doubt it was more stuff for him. "Mother are yo going to be safe here" he questioned suddenly. The Nourasian female looked over with a worried expression. "Of course my son, don't worry about me...Just....Be safe" Aikka could tell she was troubled but honestly he had no idea what he could do, the teen would be traveling there no matter what now. "I will" he finally managed, and before Nori could say a word he embraced her. He wondered when the last time he had hugged his mother was. Nori stumbled back in surprise but then hugged her son tightly. "Be safe little Aikka, my son....Please save Nourasia..." "I will" he mumbled against his mother. And without another word he loaded the ship and was off. Galactic Forum: Narroh Apartment Melanie giggled "Please, you aren't a bother. Momma is just constantly cranky" The two walked back to the dinning room where Jason allready sat, a heaping amount of food allready on his plate. Melanie only rolled her eyes and took her seat, offering Galv onenext to her. She then motioned to the food that was sitting hot on the table. "Eat as much as you like, we have plenty!" A few moments later a calmer, though not happy by any means, Kanna walked out of her bedroom. She gave both of her children and Galv a stern look before taking a seat and waiting her turn to take food while sipping a glass of what looked like white wine. Jason looked between the awkwardly quiet and decided to try and offer converstation. He looked to Galv, and even though he wasn't quite sure he liked the idea of his baby sister bringing home new friends, asked a question. "Uh so Galv was it...Are you in um school around here or something?" |

-Galactic Forum: Narroh Apartment- Galv had quite a large plate as well. Due to his electrical abilities, he had to eat a lot to convert the food into raw energy to use. "Actually...I'm...home schooled," Galv said, between bites, "Recently came here...My...mother, likes to be on the forefront of things..." He paused, then, decided he might as well try this 'small talk' as well. "What about you?" he asked, "What brings you here?" |

Galactic Forum: Narroh Apartment Melanie hated to lie, she always had the worst guilt afterward, but even she knew she couldn't tell Galv the reason they had came. She suddenly felt two pairs of azure eyes on her, belonging to her mother and brother, as if to make sure she wouldn't say anything. "Ummm we move around a lot...For momma's...Job...This was the next stop" Melanie explained, looking down at her own portion of food. "She's a.........Nurse" At this Jason snorted (he found something horribly ironic about Melanie naming their crazy mother as a person who saves lives) and Kanna shot him a look. Instantly Jason gave a slight cough and patted his chest with his fist. "So your home schooled? Well I guess that means we won't go to school in the same place." Melanie took a bite of her food, waited until she swallowed and spoke once more. "I'm in eighth grade" "Ninth" Kanna corrected "Aww but momma I don't wanna take those tests again, last one was so hard..Plus I left all my stuff at the old appartment after the people atta-" Melanie paused catching her tounge and studied her salad. She knew Kanna was glaring in her direction. |

Flux Sama shook his head quickly, not wanting to offend his new female friend. "Oh no, it's not you... it's simply that the Forum is under attack." Outside the Galactic Forum Ryoko was going up against three amazingly-powerful ships -- not to mention the other, smaller ships that were also trying to stop her. Of course, Ryoko wasn't scared in the least. The reason was Ryo-Ohki. The living ship was an incredible piece of lost technology. Created by the nearly-limitless mind of Washu, Ryo-Ohki was a flying fortress designed for combat. Ryoko had terrorized entire planets in her starship and had fought her way through space fleets before. She wasn't scared. However, her shields were going down quick. Which meant it was time for Ryoko to really step things up. The giant crystal dome on Ryo-Ohki started to glow; and inside, the jewels on Ryoko's wrists and neck were also glowing. She was now focusing her power into Ryo-Ohki. Those gems... they held a lot of power. Suddenly, the dome fired a massive laser blast straight ahead. It could slice another ship cleanly in two. Ryoko started laughing. She was loving it; she threw her head back to laugh once again. As she did, she hit a crystal and Ryo-Ohki warped ahead, skipping to another nearby spot. She hoped to get to the other side of the Paladin and blast it from behind. Unfortunately, she overlooked one key detail. The Forum. Ryo-Ohki crashed right into the side of the forum, ripping into pieces. Ryoko screamed as she was thrown into the hanger and embedded into a wall with a grunt. |

Galactic Forum-Security and Traffic Control Room The Ryo-Ohki's energy buildup was not entirely unnoticed at all, and when its laser fired, most ships were out of the way. The beam streaked toward the Forum, and struck the massive station's sheilds. It was blocked, but increased the concern that the station was in danger. Then, Ryoko crashed. "What the?" Didymus said, seeing the pirate crash herself. "Alright, get some men over there and arrest that pilot...good thing we evacuated that section. " Didymus said. "And I want a perimeter sweep. Any other hostiles in the area? Find out." Galactic Forum-hangar Meanwhile, in the hangar where Ryoko had crashed, the area was in ruins. Her vessel had done quite a number on the side of the Forum it had hit, bit the station was clearly intact. Human marines and shock troopers, in their power suits, tamaranian warriors, and more made their way into the hangar, as little repair bots made their way to the section and began to clean up the mess. Troops arrived at the hangar, where one raised his weapon and fired a stun bolt at Ryoko. Or at least, that's what would happen if she just laid there. Flux Blackfire's eyes widened, not really with any fear, but with excitement. "Under attack?! Why didn't you say so?!" she asked. Not knowing that the attacking ship was already destroyed, she spoke up again. "So what's happening? What are we even waiting for? Let's go!" She grinned, looking forward to some action that may well already be over. |

-Outside the Galactic Forum- <That was...unconventional...> Elfangor commented, <Alright then, we better see what we can do to help.> As their Dome Ship moved to make sure no more surprises came, they kept their eyes on the Blade Ship, which moved back to it's dock for now. And in an odd blue box, The Doctor was checking over a few things. "Impressive ship...One that's alive..." he glanced at the floor beneath his feet. The T.A.R.D.I.S. was alive as well, though, not in the same exact way Ryoko's ship was. He hit a few levers, pushed a few buttons, and his ship vanished. -Galactic Forum: Narroh Apartment- Galv knew very well why they had moved. He was mildly surprised that Melanie had practically given it away. Which probably meant Kanna was not to trusting of her children...That might be something he could use later. For now though, he decided not to press the issue, pretending he hadn't heard Melanie's slip of the tongue. "There are a lot of interesting people at the Forum at this time..." Galv spoke up, continuing conversation, "A top Andalite General, Elfangor, the Yeerk's Visser Three, the Princess of Tamaria, the U.T.R.'s hero, Didymus, and others as well, who I thought might just be...well...rumors. "It certainly would be interesting to see any of them and what not." |

Galactic Forum: Narroh Apartment Melanie gave a relieved sigh as Galv didn't press on her little slip of the tounge. He didn't seem to notice her words and for that she was gratefull. She took a bite or her dinner which finished the meal. It looked liked the others were still eating so she just watched with a smile. "That would be realy cool! I hope I can meet a few of those people. Earth is so boring compared to this!" |

(I like the attention that OMaB's getting, of course, but something has to happen here...) Crog fleet-high orbit above Nourasia Aikka was off, but there was one thing he would have to contend with before he could so much as set foot on the Galactic Forum-the Crog blockade around Nourasia. He would have to either slip by it (difficult, but an option possible), blast through it (probably not the best idea, as it wouldn't have been able to set up in the first place if they didn't have considerable advantages in terms of firepower), or simply run through it (difficult, but quite feasible for a skilled pilot). Aikka's first challenge on his journey to rally allies began now... (C_R, you can either expand on this scene or skip it and just say he got through, your call.) |

Crog fleet-high orbit above Nourasia King Aikka walked onboard the ship and let out a breath. He was really on his way now, nothing was going to stop him from getting to the Fourm...With one last look out at window at his mother-- who was waving sadly back at him--they departed. The first few minutes of flight were uneventful but as soon as they were out of sight from the land and into space Aikka realized that there trip would not be quiet. With narrowed eyes he watched the Crog ships appeared. He turned to one of the Nourasian men nearby, an aged soldier with a even expression on his face. He was watching the same scene unfold before him and seemed to be contimplating possible moves. "What do you suggest we do General Nahn?" Aikka asked, staring ahead but adressing the man next to him. The general stayed quiet for a few moments but then adressed the King. "My lord, I sugest we try to run through the blockade. It will be risky but provoking the Crogs would not be wise." "How much firepower do we currently have onboard?" Aikka questioned suddenly. He didn't really like the idea of ramming their way through their enemies....The General looked at another Nourasian who shook his head solemly. "Not enough to provoke attack" Aikka sighed, and watched the Crogs' ship carefully. He wondered if General Kross was onboard. "We'll try to run through" Aikka decided "Proceed" |
