I can't see what you're imagining
-Colony 101: Market-

“Yah...I don't see anything either...I hope he's okay,” Galv said, concerned. After all, Felix had helped heal him after that fight with the strange man who called himself The Master.

He paused now, lost in thought, thinking about the radical change his life had taken him. Reflecting on the past, he found himself smiling. He was glad he met Melanie. If he hadn't...well, he'd still be working for NERV. Or taking the current situation, he'd be on some government black ops as some fighter, considering his powers...But not his age.

His hand twitched, since he was no longer holding the girl's hand. He actually liked his life now, looked forward to what would happen, instead of his previous life, where he just did as he was told.

It was ironic that it was a girl like Melanie who ended up teaching him that he didn't have to do what he was told to do.

-Colony 101: Outside Manor-

“Noble? Hardly. Survival of the fittest. We humans aren't born ready to run and fight and all that. We have to be taught. We gave up quick adaptation at a young age and many of our instincts for intelligence...Despite my superior physical strength, it is the mind that is most useful in a fight,” Ethan grinned, “We no longer just compete through physical tests for mates. It's...much more complicated. Much more...challenging.”

He grinned again. He always liked a challenge.

NL Apocalypse Bridge

There were a few minutes of silence after Desty Nova's last order and the bridge was only full of a beep every now and then issued by some sort of input command or the beeping of buttons pressed on a holographic keyboard. After a few minutes of silence, however, the other female voice piped up behind the professor.

"The Dome Ship is getting close, professor. I think it's scouting us out. Suspicious little buggers, ain't they."

Desty nodded. "Indeed. Paranoid grazers... However, this may work to our advantage. What's the status on the shields and weapons?"

Sechs answered automatically with a semi-bored voice. "Primed and ready for action. As if we're going to see any..."

"Quiet, Sechs. Cancel the shielding that we have up. I know that puts us in danger, but that's better than having them too suspicious. Instead, discreetly power up the Physigraph and get our ship ready for a boarding if they decide to investigate thoroughly. If they do, we'll just trap them inside the ship: lucky us, Andalites don't just simply kill off a scouting party of their own without attempting a rescue first. If they do decide to poke around in our interior too much and stumble on something that lets them point in the right direction, we'll simply deactivate the Physigraph, close down the ship, activate all systems and I'll sic you loose on some Andalites. Rules though: No lethal force and no maiming, just capture and hold. If they DON'T snoop for too long and leave us alone... Why bother revealing ourselves?"

"... Professor, you just made my day." And with that, Sechs switched the primed shields off completely, re-routing the energy surreptitiously to another system... A system that brought a sense of physical perception to the holographs projected around and inside the ship. They were by far not perfect, since the holes in the ship were not truly holes and actually had something there, just hidden by a hologram. However, the sense of reality brought about by debris and various junk and broken areas made the detection of the Apocalypse a much harder thing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nourasian Orbit: Spacecraft "Wreck"

Outside, the ship did not change at all. From a distance, one could see the evaporating traces of collected energy dispersing from the rear of the ship where the hole was, but that was almost a dying breath of a ship, and then everything went silent completely. Not a single electrical spark, not a single light or movement. Just a dead space wreck.

From up close, or at least closer than the main Andalite fleet, one could make out how the ship was originally supposed to look like, and that was DEFINITELY not any standard ship. It was much too sleek to be standard, much too refined. It almost looked like some sort of human ship prototype or private cruiser. A faint label of the human letters "NL" was embossed into the side of the ship. While the back end of the ship was ripped apart, the underside and what appeared to be the entry airlock was mostly undamaged, just warped by an explosion or impact.

Colony 101: Market-

Melanie gave a little frown but walked to the edge of the hood where Jason stood to help her down. When her feet were on the ground waited for Galv to rejoin her.

"Well, I'm sure he's around here somewhere. I'd leave you guys to go look for him but...Yeah..Not leaving you alone for while." He looked to Erin "Can you watch them, just for a sec?"

"We don't need a babysitter you know" Melanie said, matter-of-factly.

"You don't. He does, It'll give them some family bonding time too" he joked.

-Colony 101: Outside Manor-

"Are you trying to teach me AND hit on me at the same time?" Kanna asked, brow raised. "Because i'm too old to be taught anything, and i'm already to smart for you. Thank you."

Galv frowned slightly at Jason, and Erin chuckled.

“Yah, I can watch them,” Erin nodded to Jason. As soon as he walked off, and was out of hearing range, she turned to them.

“You two can make out or something if you want. Like, sit in the car. I'll keep a look out,” Erin told them.

Galv's face soon turned as red as his hair.

-Colony 101: Outside Manor-

“If I was trying to teach anyone I'd have brought visual aids. Maybe a Power Point presentation,” Ethan grinned. He didn't, however, deny that he was hitting on her. If Samuel was still listening to them, he'd have rolled his eyes.

-Nourasian Orbit-

Andalites were, in fact, paranoid grazers. After having fought the Yeerks (a species who could pretend to be anyone by taking over their mind), and having evolved from species who had been hunted, they tended to be right with their paranoia.

Soon, an Andalite boarding party were prepped, heading to the 'wreck.' They'd soon get through the airlock, and begin to proceed, sweeping along scanners to try and detect life.

They were of course, aided by Andalite warriors, who were deadly with their tail, and good shot with their Shredder beams.

Nourasian Orbit: Spacecraft Wreck

The boarding party didn't take long. All it took was some careful positioning and some even more careful piloting from the boarding party due to the wreck's flying debris (which actually bounced off the hull of the boarding vessel), and they were next to the warped airlock door. The door, surprisingly, didn't even need to be forced open. It was so busted that the moment the boarding vessel attached itself to the side, the door actually made an audible creak before cracking open and one side sliding to the side, the door half-opening into the airlock. The other side of the airlock, however, was blasted inward like if hit by some heavy weapon. It looked like pure luck that there was still air in this sector of the ship, and the oxygen was at human levels, if not a teensy bit thin.

The inside of the ship was... To say the least, impressive. It was dark, yes, but the walls were definitely strong. The entire craft had been made with a human touch and a seemingly human mind... But something about it just seemed otherworldly. The shape of the ship, the position of doors and entrances... It all just spoke of something... Beyond. Beyond, but definitely harmless, especially with the ship being in the state of current disrepair... And even from the inside, the Andalites could not detect any lifeforms or movement.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NL Apocalypse Bridge

Desty Nova couldn't help but smile. "We've been boarded, ladies and gents. If they get too close to the Bridge or reactor room, you know what we're supposed to do. I will try to keep them away from these places, but there is only so much the Physigraph can do. Who knows... You may see some action, Sechs. I hope they leave after a little while though..."

The two girls, however, were too focused to comment or answer the professor's introspection, all too absorbed in creating the visual reality the Andalites were currently seeing, hearing, smelling and sensing. Sechs couldn't care less... But his fingers were twitching every once in a while, surreptitiously getting closer to a large, folded and wrapped object next to the pilot's seat...

Melanie's blush matched Galv's perfectly, the girl stuttered something that didn't quite make it out. The poor girl was rather flustered.

"W-we weren't gonna d-do that!" she managed, face still burning. The young girl still thought the idea of even a peck on the cheek in front of people was rather embarrassing. The girl stared at her shoes.

((Sorry I didn’t post sooner… I meant to but I had some stuff I needed to do))

[Protoss Colony]

The Arrow had finally arrived at a small moon near the previous location of the Galactic Forum. The moon served as a makeshift home for many of the wayward Protoss in this section of the Galaxy. Their own home world destroyed, it was one of few places to find the elusive and ancient species.

The Colony was located in one of the largest craters on the moon. It was an advanced city, complete with artificial gravity and air. In the center of the city was a large building, with three towers.

As the Arrow landed, Jordan looked at the ship’s computer. He was hoping to pull up some information about the Protoss, but was finding very little. They were a secretive society, and all he was able to discover was that they seemed to be divided into two factions – but there weren’t enough details.

“Ah, Molly, we’re going in blind on this one.” He told her, scratching his neck. “Oh well, we’ve handled worse.”

[Colony 101: Market]

Felix had disappeared from the others not long after they arrived. In all honesty, the teen felt out of place. The rest of the group all knew one another already… so much so that most of them had paired off. He was a stranger; and outsider whose only connection to the group was the fact Rica and Kanna had known one another years earlier.

So, Felix decided to do a bit of shopping by himself. He had gone to a quiet little store he frequented whenever he could. After a few minutes, he decided to go back and see what the others were doing…

… That was when he noticed a group of three men who, unfortunately, he recognized. Not wanting to drag their guests into Rica’s business, Felix had remained hidden in the bookstore, pressed into a corner near a street-front window.

[Colony 101: Outside Manor]

“… Well now, I’m a little confused.” Rica shook his head, and while his usual mixture of sarcasm and charm was still present, his voice sounded a bit firmer than usual. “Here I thought we were going to FIND the children, instead of just talking about children in general.”

He shrugged his shoulders, perhaps forgetting that he was partially responsible for the worry that something might be wrong.

“Shall we go, or would you like to debate politics next?” He added with a extra dose of sarcasm.

[Republic Fringe Colony: Space]

The tractor beams engulfed Eva Zero, but merely held it in place. The seemingly ‘alive’ mech was still able to move its arms and fire its rifle. An action it took against nearly every ship or mech nearby.

[Republic Fringe Colony: City Center]

Sama hesitated for a moment, and then nodded to Jenny.

“If you can open it quietly, do so. The charge would give us only a few seconds of surprise, but just opening the door might buy a little longer…”

He then pressed himself against the wall next to the door, and looked to the marines with them. “I’ll go in first; you follow me. Number one priority is the hostages; neutralize any threats by whatever means are necessary.”

Protoss Colony

Eva let down the Arrow carefully, at the same time taking in all the sights of the small planet...It was a strange looking place, and most likely hostle if karma didn't like them. She completed landing proceedures and heard from Jordan.

“Ah, Molly, we’re going in blind on this one...Oh well, we’ve handled worse.”

Eva grinned to the older gunner "Yeah, it won't be a problem!"

Truthfully Eva was a little worried. She had been hoping they could at least get a bit of info on their location, but with the current news there was really nothing she could do. She wondered if KOS-MOS knew anything about Protoss.

"Anything we should know about this place" she asked the robot, hoping to get even a bit of info. While going into a strange place blind was fun, it also meant almost definate trouble.

Eva stood and opened her door's hatch.

Colony 101: Market

Jason wandered back through the market, this time ignoring all of the calls from the vendors hoping to make a sell. He was still trying to find Felix, which proved difficult in such a crowded located. Turning a corner, he stoped and ran and hand through his messy hair.

"Well I guess we can always wait by the c-"

Suddenly he paused, noting the boy he was looking for ducking into some sort of shop. Jason grinned, trying to get the boy's attention.

"Yo! Felix, over here!"

Colony 101: Outside Manor

Kanna looked to Rica giving a short nod. "Good idea. I still need to find them before they do something stupid like i'm sure they will"

Kanna walked ahead of the two once more, the mansion coming into view. She stopped and frowned deeply. The kids weren't here. She could tell.

Once again her daughter and son had disobeyed her. Well not directly, but they knew she didn't want them going anywhere!

"Damn." she said simply, turning and looking at the two men behind her, hands on her hips. "Rica, where would a bunch a teenagers go around here?"

[Protoss Colony]

As they all piled out, Jordan looked around. The streets of the city seemed deserted. He wondered if they were always like that, or if it was just because of the unexpected company.

KOS-MOS scanned the city for several seconds, before turning her attention to Molly’s earlier question.

“Although located very close to the Galactic Forum, the Protoss of this particular colony have not been very open to outsiders. There is little information on them because, quite simply, they do not like interacting with others.”

She hesitated. “… It is likely that one or more of them may recognize me, as I was originally sealed away by the Protoss of Auir because they believed I would be too dangerous.”

Jordan sweat dropped. That did not sound good. “Let’s just focus on finding Zeratul, or at least finding out if he’s even here…”

[Colony 101: Market]

Felix gasped as Jason yelled to him. The youngster looked around, but when he realized it was just Jason he let out a sigh of relief and ran towards him.

“Oh, good, you’re here…” Felix hesitated. “Where is everyone else? We should probably head back soon.”

The youth looked around, but he no longer saw the men who had worried him before. That was probably a good sign, and feeling a bit relieved he turned back to Jason.

… Of course, the reason he did not see those men was that they were now crouched-down, watching Felix and Jason.

Colony 101: The Manor]

Rica hesitated for a moment. Felix had to have taken them somewhere. There were a few places that came to Rica’s mind, but after several seconds he swore.

“… They’ve likely gone to the market. It’s a bazaar near here.” Rica explained. He hesitated to elaborate… “It’s… not got the best reputation.”

"Hmmmm...Yeah, Zeratul would probably be the best bet for the time...But how to find him in a place where I doubt anyone wants to make friends...."

As the group left the Arrow Eva turned back, looking bothered. "You don't think anyone will mess with it, dad'll have my head if we come back with a trashed ship you know" she asked Jordan. The Arrow was large, but she remembered sabotage all too well from Alwas and Oban. It was never smart to leave your racer in a strange location. Especially when said racer belonged to one of the toughest race managers in the world.

She let out a breath in turned, there was no point in worrying, they couldn't tow it along anyways. She'd deal with it later.

Colony 101: Market

"Awesome! I found you! Mel and the others are by the car waiting, thought i'd come find you" Jason paused noticing something seemed off about the boy "You okay? You look a bit nervous or something."

Colony 101: The Manor

Kanna audibly groaned and muttered some choice words under her breath. "Stupid children" was the only bit that was repeatable....Kanna crossed her arms over her chest. "Fifty bucks says they're in some kind of trouble...They ALWAYS seem to be."

Kanna wondered why her children couldn't just stay put.

[Protoss Colony]

Jordan cast a glance to the ship. He too remembered the trouble that could happen when a Racer was left unattended… but they did not have much choice in the matter right now.

“Hopefully we’ll be quick.” He reassured Molly, although had no real way of guessing whether they would or not.

KOS-MOS suddenly interrupted. “Someone is coming.”

Surely enough, a group of five tall Protoss in golden armor appeared from one of the nearby buildings. They ran and circled the group of humans (and robot), and they assumed a somewhat stand-offish stance.

“Why have you come here?” One of them demanded curtly.

[Colony 101: Market]

Felix was relieved to hear that and nodded… until Jason questioned him directly, which caused him to tense up a bit.

“Ah, I’m alright… I just think we should get back soon.” He said, trying to sound casual but failing to do so.

[Colony 101: The Manor]

“Oh, come on Kanna, cut them a break. Everyone gets into some kind of trouble when they’re young… I seem to recall the two of us causing trouble back in the day.” Rica said with an enormous grin.

Then he paused and remembered some of the stupid, dangerous and otherwise inappropriate things he had done and tried to do when he was a teenager. He sweat dropped.

“Although, I’m sure your kids wouldn’t be nearly as bad as all that.” He quickly added.

"The enemy is expecting us." the one of the spec ops soldiers said. "Open things quietly if you like, but again, they're expecting us either way...and if you intend to go in first, very well."

Republic fringe colony, space

This was it. The Eva was held in place.

Despite its danger, Didymus rocketed his mech around it, then on top of it again, on his guard against it, but trying the same thing: getting through its armor, ripping out and tossing its entry plug towards the Florence, then getting away and destroying the Eva.

Meanwhile, aboard the Florence, Asuka was being given what treatment she needed...

Nourasia: Dahl

The metarex commander scoweled in his suit, then looked around. They had caused destruction. They had taken prisoners. Around the planet, this scene doubtlessly had been produced over and over.

"Enough." he said.

With that, he leaped up, his suit kicking in, and took off for high orbit!

“I've dealt with lots of aliens before. I can talk to them!” Ben said, stepping forward, with a bit of a big head.

“Hello!” Ben grinned, “My name's Ben. Ben Tennyson. Wielder of the Omnitrix, and Plumber. I'm also a close personal friend of The Doctor. Have you heard of him?”

Ben paused, looking around at the aliens. “We could use some help. We're looking for someone named Zeratul. Could you help us out?”

-Colony 101: Market-

“If you two are okay then, alright,” Erin shrugged, “It's much more private in the car.”

Galv simply continued to blush as well.

There was another teenager who had been by himself. And now, he saw an opportunity. An opportunity to gain some trust. That might be useful later on.

Walter, the young man who controlled water, walked up slowly to the two men crouching downwards. He moved at them, but didn't look like he was looking at them. Instead, he was going to Jason and Felix.

“Hello,” he said, waving to the other two teenage boys. He didn't care if he had to reveal his power in public, after all.

-Colony 101: Outside Manor-

“It was probably the dangerous things we did as kids that got NERV interested in us,” Ethan commented, “Well, most of us.”

He knew his half-brother had been the responsible one between the two though.

Maybe that's why he was the only one of these adults to not have a destructive power.

“Considering we haven't seen smoke, they're probably fine,” he added.

-Nourasia: Spaceship Wreck-

The walls were studied, the Andalites thought-speaking amongst themselves. Messages were sent back and forth to the ship. This ship was human, but not of any kind they knew.

They didn't detect any life forms, but the Andalites liked to learn. They paused, discussing whether they should stay and study this ship, or whether to leave for now and talk it over with the U.T.R.

While the Andalites were now aligned with the humans, they were still a very proud species. They would investigate by themselves for now, and pass on the info later. Maybe.

After more discussion via thought-speak, they headed for the front of the ship, where they knew human bridges tended to be.

-Republic Fringe Colony: Center of City-

Jenny nodded, and played her Sonic Flashlight over the lock. With a small click, it unlocked.

She wondered, as she opened the door quietly to sneak in, if these Metarex had ever heard of The Doctor.

“Someone is coming.”

In less than a second the group of teens were surrounded by five tall beings, looking VERY intimidating. Eva tried to not look too intimidated...

"We mean no harm..." Eva explained

[Colony 101: Market

Melanie's face stayed red, and she grabbed Galv by the arm, pulling him to the car and pushing him inside for a moment. She didn't give the wrong impression to Erin but she also wanted to ask Galv something.

"Do you trust her?" she asked, a bit randomly. She was curious.

Jason looked a bit confused but decided not to press on,the kid looked uncomfortable enough. The raven haired young man looked around...Nothing looked out of the ordinary...He offered the younger boy a smile and motioned for him to follow back to the car.

"Come'on, before the kids get any ideas..." He joked.

Colony 101: The Manor

I seem to recall the two of us causing trouble back in the day

Kanna rolled her eyes, the man had a point...Even if she would never admit such a thing. Back when she was a teenager she liked to have fun and cause a bit of trouble. She was a kid, pretty and happy. With the years she was forced to grow up, started a family, and grew a bit...Well colder. She was a lot different then back then.

“Although, I’m sure your kids wouldn’t be nearly as bad as all that.”

She narrowed her eyes. "We're screwed. How do we get to the market.

“It was probably the dangerous things we did as kids that got NERV interested in us,”

Kanna knew Ethan had a point..She had been a troubled girl before NERV and they found her.

"We're all just a bunch of misfits afterall."

Nourasia: Dahl

The Metarex comander took off into high orbit and the soldiers surrounding him, Nori, and Aikka looked VERY confunsed.

"Why....." Aikka stated slowly, then turning to his mother quickly.

Nori frowned, clutching her side. Her hand was red. She said nothing, but Aikka noticed almost instantly

"Mother?! You're-"

"I'm fine" Lady Nori stated slowly. She looked pained but managed to keep a straight face.

Aikka bit his lip, looked to the soliders, and spoke once more. "I need three of you to bring her inside, the rest of you alert the posts of what has happened. Be on alert. He could be back....And there are many more to come i'm sure....

With that Aikka rushed back inside the palace, looking back at his mother with a frown. He needed to speak to the elders.

[Protoss Colony]

The lead Protoss in front of them looked from Eva, to Jordan and then to Ben. He scowled at the trio for almost an entire minute without responding to any of them.

“You’re looking for Zeratul? … I suppose you’d like me to take you to him?” The Protoss asked.

Jordan hesitated. That seemed like it would be way too easy. “Well, the thing is—” The gunner was not given a chance to finish.

“I suppose if I went to one of YOUR cities and asked to see your leader, I would just be taken straight to him, wouldn’t I?” The Protoss asked, and his voice sounded far-from friendly.

He then turned on Ben. “I have heard of The Doctor and the Plumbers… So what? Is that supposed to mean that you’re trustworthy? How am I to know you speak the truth; and why do you assume I care about your affiliation at all?”

Jordan winced. This was not going good. “Now, hold on! We’ve met Zeratul, we did him a favor back on the Forum…”

The Protoss Leader glared at Jordan intensely, but the Gunner held his ground.

“I’ll ask again… So what?” The Protoss demanded.

[Republic Fringe Colony: School]

Sama gave a small shrug. It was true, the enemy was expecting to be attacked… but that was a part of Sama’s plan. Well, what little of a plan he had formed in the last sixty seconds anyway.

Then again, he had not survived and gained the respect of men like Snake and James Raynor by lacking skills.

As soon as the door was opened, he pressed a button on his watch and several nanites shot forth from it. They positioned themselves in front of him and began emitting holographic symbols.

Sama walked into the room, not bothering to hide himself. Mainly because the hologram being emitted was a mirror-image of the door they had just opened. The nanites had captured it just before it was opened, and to any Metarex who looked their way, it would look like the door was still shut.

He used his hand to motion to the Marines to move in behind him. As long as they stayed behind the square of the hologram, the Metarex wouldn’t be able to see them.

[Colony 101: Market]

Felix looked up when he heard Walter call towards them. The two men both gasped and jumped up, looking from Walter to Jason and Felix. They seemed taken aback, and confused.

Felix turned pale when he saw the two men jump up. “Walter, get away from them right now!”

One of the men moved and grabbed onto Walter’s forearm. “Don’t try a thing, kid. We just want to talk to your friend over there.” The man hissed.

[Republic Fringe Colony: Space]

The Eva 00 would not prove as easy an enemy as Unit 02 had. When Didymus tried to get on top of it, the Eva struggled against the tractor beams. They had a clear hold on the beast, and yet, amazingly, it was able to move enough to open fire in his direction.

Then the Eva turned and fired towards the Battleship emitting the tractor beams! Rei’s Eva seemed to have an enormous will to survive the battle.

[Colony 101: The Manor]

Rica wanted to laugh at Kanna’s reaction, but decided it wasn’t worth the pain it probably would have earned him.

“Well, we could take my car… but it seems Felix already borrowed that. So, I suppose we walk.” Rica shrugged. It wasn’t that far.
