Nanami was a nice girl at heart -- but she did have a mischievous side. Seeing how nervous R.J. was, she leaned towards him and narrowed her dark eyes.

"Oh? What rumors are those? If you tell me, I can tell you -- or show you -- how true or untrue they are." She said with a devilish smile. When her cousin spoke up, though, Nanami's face fell a bit and she rounded on Sayuri.

"H-Hey! Don't say stuff like that!"

The Olive Vine Cafe

Azami looked up at the newcomer who had just swiped a breadstick. She didn't know Noelle's friends well, but this girl didn't seem like one of them -- plus she just said she hadn't been invited. Azami tilted her head.

"Excuse me, but who are you? You don't seem like one of Noelley's friends, so I'm wondering why you're here. Are you from Ohba? I know some people from Ohba, but they're not very nice." Azami asked.

Tuesday looked around. "Sorry? Did I hear a voice? Guess not. Couldn't have been some unpopular girl giving me lip when I was clearly not speaking to her. It also couldn't have been the same unpopular girl who had better zip it before I get very upset."

She took a bite of the bread stick, washing it down by snatching one of the girls glasses of water.

Azami narrowed her eyes and floated up on a ball of wind. Her arms were crossed and she was biting her bottom lip, showing off one of her fangs.

"I get it . . . you're one of those uber popular witches who likes to belittle others, but in reality you're just insecure because you got picked on when you were a kid, am I right?" Azami had a scowl on her face.

She did not like Tuesday. It was one thing to let Noelle make jokes at her expense (or so she thought) because Noelle was a friend . . . but Tuesday was a stranger. Azami didn't know her, and she didn't like her.

Tuesday laughed, and raised her hand for the many no-named followers who came into the cafe with her to laugh, as well.

"Close, little girl, but no." She put down the bread stick and water. "I'm one of those uber popular girls who like to belittle others because she can. I was never picked on, because when someone tried, I didn't let them." She curled her hair around her finger.

"The kind of girl you're thinking of doesn't exist. Girls who get walked on when they're younger don't get any better. They just get closer to the top, meaning bigger and better people get to walk on them. People who are born as doormats will die as doormats."

She smirked, daring Azami to talk back again.

Azami really didn't like Tuesday. Tuesday reminded her of the kind of people who had always labeled her as 'weird' or 'creepy' all throughout her life. Normally, Azami would just ignore them and float away on her little wind ball.

. . . but, now Azami had friends! Noelle and Maple and the others! Azami felt confident, and she wasn't going to back down.

"You... You're... I don't like you!" Azami stammered -- she had never been good at arguing. Instead, she held out her hands and made a small gust of wind -- which blew Noelle's tomato bisque right at Tuesday!

"Ah! You're soup! I'm sorry Noelle!" Azami panicked, not caring at all whether or not the soup had hit Tuesday or possibly ruined her clothing or hair.

Nasca began to think. "You haven't been listening to my older brother, have you? He insists all Ohba are jerks." He said to R.J

Then turning to Nanami, he said "But you're not that bad so far." He was blushing behind his mask, as he did in front of people all the rest of time. That may have been one of the best feature: No one could see his face unless he took it off.

Which was rare, only to eat, sleep, bathe, etc. Still, he feared he was putting off a vibe.

“Hey, she hasn’t tried to kill me yet, so I’m cool with her,” Edda said, putting his hands behind his head. “As for what to do, I suggest the food court. You never know when you’re not going to be able to get another meal.”

-The Magic Store-

Paul Lie moved his hands quickly, the owner of the store nodding his head…Or her head. I don’t know. He paid for a book and placed it into his bag, heading out.

He was hungry…Maybe a bite to eat…

-The Olive Vine Café-

Paul entered the café, then frowned. He saw Tuesday, a fellow Ohba student and her cronies, along with other students who he assumed to be Kubo students were at the table.

His hands moved rapidly again, and he approached the girls, tapping Tuesday on the shoulder.

If/when she turned, his hands would move again.

“Hey…” he signed, “We’re not here to pick on Kubo students. You can show them we’re better when we compete. Doing this is just a coward’s way of intimidation.”

Of course, most people could not follow sign language, much less the rapid way Paul did. So, the words appeared in the air in front of him for Tuesday to read.

"Blah blah blah-- I don't have time for your hand tricks, Paul, this is impor--"

Just then, Tuesday was splashed with Noelle's soup, sending her off the edge. "You little worm!"

She picked Azami up by her collar and threw her across the room, probably onto another party's table. While Azami prepared to get up, Tuesday broke one of the table's legs and set the end on fire.

R.J. agreed with Edda, "That's a good idea. I heard they have this nice little cafe where the food is really good!"

Olive Vine Cafe

Within all the commotion, Mike scratches his head and says, "Duuuuude. Is this, like, totally gonna be a fight? Man, this is righteous. Things have been totally boring around here."

Meanwhile, from a distance, one of Ohba's scariest and most menacing students stood by, watching the events unfold. Aku Ma, unlike all the other students from both Academies, was wearing his school uniform. He felt pride in being an Ohba student, and seldom wore anything but his school uniform. As he watched, standing silent and still with his arms crossed, his face showed little expression except for somewhat of a cold scowl.

Nanami had an unhappy look on her face. She turned straight to Nasca and glared.

"Funny... you're brother says all Ohba students are jerks, but at my school they always talk about how stuck up you Kubo kids are. Maybe if people would start thinking for themselves instead of listening to the crowds, there wouldn't be so many rumors."

She turned away, clearly annoyed and looked to Sayuri. "Come on . . . let's get something to eat."

Olive Vine Cafe

Azami crashed landed on another table, and she now had noodles on her back and cake in her hair. She jumped up, forming two small wind balls, one under each foot and starting skating around in the air.

Then, she took a deep breath and let loose a mighty wind, hoping to extinguish the flaming chair leg in Tuesday's hands.

"Alright, Nanami!" Sayuri nodded. "Where do you wanna go? My treat!"

Olive Vine Cafe

Instead of being blown out like a candle, Tuesday's flame got bigger and bigger as Azami's wind fanned it. This set most of the restaurant on fire.

"Ball's in my court, worm." Tuesday laughed. She tossed away the chair leg, not needing anymore, and leaped toward Azami. Once in the air, she exhaled a a ball of fire at Azami.

With the restaurant on fire, Azami had a bad feeling that she was going to get in trouble. Still, no reason to stop now! If she was doomed to be in trouble, she might as well insure that she won the fight.

As the fireball came at her, she blocked it with a large circular gust of wind and then she sent another gust at the drink dispenser, ripping it open and showering the cafe with soft drinks in a hope of dashing the flames a bit.

Togashi Mall

Nanami paused. "Oh, I'm up for whatever . . . you might want to ask your entourage, though."

Nasca turned an even brighter shade of red, realizing he offended her.

"My bro just says that because...he...well he got....beat up by one. Since then he's done nothing but workout and lift weights." He looked down to the floor. "Sorry if I...eh, hurt your feelings, as you people say?" Nasca managed to say with a quivery voice.

“I’ve been around, and I’ve found stereotypes are always wrong,” Edda said, “But, unless you’re a Youkai yourself, some of their cooking can disagree with you. Way to much oregano.”

Edda headed over to the café the others had mentioned, leaving them to wonder if he was being serious or not.

-The Olive Vine Café-

Paul’s hands moved again, creating a spell.

Clouds gathered in the restaurant, and with a sudden spatter, it began to rain, though gently, intending to put out the flames…He was a powerful spell caster.

Nanami shook her head. "You didn't offend me... but you shouldn't listen to what people say. Whoever beat up your brother, it wasn't me -- at least, it probably wasn't. Then again, I only beat up people who deserve it, so if it was me, then it was his fault."

She shrugged. "Doesn't matter."

The Olive Vine Café

As the rain started to fall, Azami looked to Tuesday and wondered if maybe the fight was over . . . but she doubted it.
