Hokage Hall Nanami bit her lip and looked over at Lavan. Her eyes watched the flames as they twisted into the shape of a flower in his hand. She could not help but have a smile slide by. This was just like him to pull a stunt like this. She crossed her arms and shifted in her stance She reached out towards the flower and paused just before taking it. She assumed that Lavan's peace offering would not burn her fingers, but knowing him it could do something. She still remembered the day her hair had been as pink as bubblegum. "... I suppose I could defrost enough to dance." She admitted at length. She accepted the flower of flames, deciding whatever consequences came with it would be worth it. ..... "That's a pretty cool trick..." Sama said as he too watched the flower from across the room. Of course, he had no special eyes like the Uchiha, Albedda or Hyuuga clans. All he could do was smell chakra. |

Hokage's Hall Lavan couldn't help but snicker at her hesitation in taking the flower. He himself would not have taken it, knowing what kind of pranks he was capable of. But she took it... So he would keep that trust going... At least for a little while. He could only imagine what it would feel like for a normal person to hold one of his fires... So he carefully adjusted the chakra flow so it was warm, but not hot to the touch, and not cool enough to be completely invisible. "It will stay like that indefinitely, feeding on my chakra. So you can wear it, put it somewhere... Or chuck it at someone like a bomb. A small one... But a bomb nevertheless. So, if any bugger deserves a little firey attention, please chuck the gift from yours truly. It's very potent." He then turned to Cess, looking over him with a critical eye, a smirk playing around his mouth. "... You haven't changed much, huh, grumpy. And even if you wanted to, there is no way one could find one of the potential candidates for the position of Yuigonsho. Only one of them could sense the potential in others. In this case, it is only Voyager himself. But right now, I REALLY don't want to talk seriousness. I wanna talk dance, party and music! And fire. And hamsters! ... On fire..." He suddenly looked down... And Back up to Nanami... "... Okay, now I know I am forgetting somethi-OH! Right!" He suddenly pulled up his sleeves, revealing the incredibly intricate tattoo and kanji marks running all the way from his wrists to his shoulders. He pressed down on one of the blank spots in between lines, a spot missing some sort of link... And a flame ignited. Lavan either ignored the pain or it was completely painless, because he was utterly focused on his task. A kanji suddenly appeared in the spot where he pressed, and a rather hot jolt ran down Nanami's arm, the seal on her arm finally coming back to life. He did the same with his other arm... And the seal on Raida repeated the action, sending a hot burst through the arm. Then, Lavan pulled the sleeves back over his arms, grinning. "There! All good now! So, now that we have that out of the way, what to do... Oh! I know! FLAMING WEASELS!!! No, that's not right... What was it that I was going to do... OH! Right! ODARI!!! Stop hogging the spotlight! MY TURN! Come on, Nanami-chan, we can't let Mr. Shinyteeth beat us tonight!" And, without further ado, he grabbed Nanami by the arm and yanked her towards the dance floor, looking flashy as usual... But there was something strange this time that Nanami and the others could barely notice, and that was coming up close to him. For one, Lavan's skin was even warmer than Nanami could remember, almost a good 7 degrees centigrade above that of a normal human. And two... Wherever he stepped, a small burst of flame lingered, leaving no marks. |

Hokage Hall Sayuri clapped and spun around in circle with joy. "Hoo-RAY!" She sang. "I would usually call for a group hug... but Musashi is missing. I haven't seen him since he left to talk to Hikaru..." Naruto, who had finally come out of his office, gasped. "Maybe Hikaru murdered him!" He covered her mouth as if she really believed the utter nonsense he'd just spoken. "And he fed his remains to a snake!" Sakura hit the Hokage over the head. "That's enough, Naruto!" "The cake is a lie!" Balcony Assuming Sasuke is still there, a few voices began laughing. "You shouldn't have done that, Sasuke!" Ishiji giggled, standing on the edge of the balcony. She snapped her shark-like teeth in a laughed. Ayu was sitting on the edge of the balcony, holding her enormous sword in front of her. This sword should be very familiar to Sasuke-- it was Zabuza's odd-looking sword (seriously-- it's not even sharp). "That's right! If you'd said 'No' Musashi would be on you like a cheap suit, and neither of you would be alone later..." "When you'll need help." Ainame added. She was huddled on the floor of the balcony. "But that just makes it easier for us..." Ayu decided, slamming Zabuza's sword into the ground. All three shark girls eyed him. What would Sasuke do??? |

Hokage's Hall Ryukku laughed a little with Sama's comment. "Haha! Yeah! Though it's also quite complicated!" Ryukku added. "It's almost like he's using his chakra flames like how someone would twist a balloon into the shape of a dog, and at the same time is able to make it safe to touch by someone who isn't a living torch, and not have it blow up." Meanwhile, Raida still watched Lavan and Nanami, until the shock and surprise of the Seidaku no Fuuin's re-awakening caused her to jump, knocking over a nearby bowl of punch. Her face soon turned about as red as the punch as she said "I'm so sorry..." over and over again, not even noticing if she actually did knock the punch onto someone else like she thought or not. She then quickly retreated out of the Hokage's Hall. ((I'm so evil Anyways, Seidaku no Fuuin = Seal of Good or Evil, for those who don't remember or know what that seal Lavan put on Raida and Nanami was called; edits for clarity))... ((EDIT: More stuff, because I'm bored and no one's posted since I last posted)) Meanwhile, walking through the entrance of the main Hall room and almost being bowled over as Raida escaped out through the same door was Ajani Kenpachi. "Now what's up with that?" he wondered aloud, before continuing into the hall. He went over to where so,e of the food was, and started taking some while looking over the room to see who was there, and who wasn't, in case something happened relating to what the Yougankure group had visited to discuss about. |

Balcony Alex hid in the shadows, observing his surroundings. From the looks of things, it seems that Sasuke fighting Musashi might not be the biggest concern, anymore. Hokage's Hall Lum was doing stuff... ((I'm leaving tomorrow morning, so really I'm just posting for the sake of letting the people who will be taking control of my characters to know where they are)) Ataru... started throwing up since he really overdid it with the food. Balcony Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the three shark girls. He had devoted his life to training to kill his brother. That meant he had known all about Kisame and he could easily guess what was about to happen. "It's Susumu isn't it?" Sasuke asked with an eyebrow raised. But he promptly shrugged. "Go and tell him to buzz off, he's not a threat to this village." Sasuke turned his back on the three and began to walk away, not a smart move. Hokage Hall Hikaru looked around and noticed that Misaski was not present. Looking dissapointed he shrugged figuring she had better things to do...than be at a dance....with him...dancing... "Ah crap." Now looking more frantically, Hikaru finally noticed that Musashi was gone too, leaving Sayuri alone. He heard his name mentioned and decided to check it out. "Hey guys, whats going on?" he asked, "Have you seen Misaski...or Musashi for that matter?" Hokage Gates You would think that after years of easily penetrated walls Konoha would have had better borders. Perhaps they were cocky, arrogant, or just too busy partying. Susumu and Sage showed up in a slight flash of light, no poof of smoke. The two surveyed they're surroundings, before Sage cast a cloaking jutsu, sealing them from the rest of the world. The two had arrived a bit early, ready to make final preparations. "you know what to do." Susumu told Sage, who nodded before blinking out of exsistance. Susumu looked up at the moon above and smiled, this was the night. |

Konohospital's Roof Kusanagi stood in the shadows, holding a small, round mirror in the palm of her hand. On the other side of that 'mirror' there was not a reflection of the redhead but instead a whole different face altogether. The face of Rin Mariko, Kusanagi's mother and master. I am in Konoha now. She hissed into the mirror. ... Has the invasion begun? Mariko asked, absently twirling a strand of hair around her finger in front of her eye patch. No. Not yet. Kusanagi replied. Mariko allowed a pause, and then she spoke up: Then do nothing. Once the invasion begins, you'll be able to find my missing property. Kusanagi nodded. I must erect a barrier . . . I don't know if I'll have a chance to search the village once I begin my duties. A slight but visible smile crossed Mariko's face. Do not worry . . . You won't have to search; my property will come to you. Kikyo Tower Sprinting from one side of the tower to the other, Musashi was working overtime. He was creating his specially-designed Kage Bunshin and setting them in place. Musashi wanted everything to be perfect which, you'd think by now he'd know not to expect so much. He ran a hand through his hair and leaned back. Everything was finally in place. Hokage's Hall Nanami was pulled out onto the dance floor, trying to keep up with Lavan. She wasn't much of a dancer, but enough so that she could keep from tripping over her own feet. She noticed the small flames that sparked up with his every step and couldn't help but smile. He always had to be a show-off. |

Just outside Konoha At one of the more open, as well as discreet, areas on the border of Konoha, a couple of guards were talking with each-other while watching over the border "I just don't know what I did to get stuck on guard duty tonight..." one of the guards started. "Well, you should look at it this way," the second guard then responed. "We're going to have a great view of that fireworks celebration that's supposed to go off soon, and there isn't really anyone to guard against." "Yeah, that is a good point. And no one's dumb enough to try invading here, 'cause it's so out in the open," the first guard said. As he spoke, a couple playing cards floated into the guard's station, a Jack of Hearts and a Jack of Diamonds. "Ehh! I hate littering... Next time there's an administrative meeting, I'm going to make sure to bring up the garbage disposal policy!" The second guard raised an eyebrow. "Like they're going to listen to you? They stuck you on guard duty on the biggest night of the grand celebration! And besides, some kid probobly just dropped a pack of cards he bought from one of the magician groups that came in this week." "Yeah... Cards aren't as bad as food wrappers..." the first guard then said, picking up one of the cards, as the other guard picked up the second. Each looked at it for about a second, before falling unconsious, as a mark formed on the hands of each guard... Outside Hokage's Hall Raida made her way outside, to try and calm down and relax in the cool night's air. It was not like her to be surprised that way (instead, she herself usually ended up surprising people by mistake, due to her silent appearances wnen others didn't expect it)... Meanwhile, Kuchigawa Haruko (Kenpachi's friend from TNT, if you don't remember) noticed Raida's embarrased escape, and decided to follow her outside. "So Raida, how about the Yougankure not being dead like everyone thought. Surprising, huh?" Haruko began, trying to start up a friendly conversation. Raida's face again turned red, and she turned away. "...it's nice, that Lavan returned for Nanami..." she said almost silently. Haruko looked on, somewhat confused, but prodded onwards. "Is there something wrong?" she asked. Raida, still turned away from Haruko, was silent for some time, before answering in nearly a whisper. "...I didn't think... ...seeing him alive... ...I know they're each other's... ...but..." She then fell silent, leaving Haruko about as confused as it seemed Raida was. Just outside Konoha, again The guards from the station two posts away from the one where the playing cards fell, also were asleep, one holding the Jack of Spades, and the other guard holding the Jack of Clubs. And then, a bunch of black butterflies began flying around the guard station in between the two currently-incapacitated stations. "Hey, what's with all these moths all of a sudden?" one of the guards asked, mistaking the butterflies for something more commonly seen at night. Before the other guard could answer, the light in the tower was blocked off by the numerous butterflies. "Yoshiro, set off a signal," the first guard then told the other guard, just in case something was actually happening. However, just as he finished the sentence, he felt drops of blood fly at him. "Bye-bye, Yoshiro..." "What-the?" the first guard said, before looking over to where his partner should have been. All he saw in the moonlight, however, was a puddle of blood. "They are not moths. They are my Tease, boy..." The guard quickly turned around, finding a messy haired man in a black and blue cloak somewhat similar in appearance to how the Towaraito uniform cloak was. He was holding a large butterfly (larger than the ones that were flying around), which he soon punched literally into the chest of the guard, who then fell to the ground. "Have a nice dream, boy..." As he spoke, the man looked back on the corpse of the guard with an evil, almost demonic, smile that seemed to glow in the night, and dropped a playing card on top of the guard's body. The Ace of Spades. ((this guy isn't part of Towaraito; however, I'd like it such that at one point in the past, he has fought one of the true Towaraito members for some reason or another; and yes, he knocked out two of the surrounding guard towers such that they wouldn't notice what happened in the middle guard tower, and to slow any warning of his nvasion untill when the main invasion by the other groups start {though for him, it's technically so he can get to what he wants to do and get out before anyone realizes that someone invaded}; this shouldn't be a problem for right now, since it looks like everything's close to starting, but if it is problematic for some completely-unknown-to-me reason, I'll cut it out and paste it back when someone starts one of the other invasions)) |

Balcony When Sasuke turned to walk away, he would find that Ainame was standing in front of him, silent and spooky. "It's not Susumu you have to worry about tonight." Ayu laughed. Ishiji, lifting Kisame's sword over her head, snickered, "Because we're here to finish you before he gets here!" With that, she swung her sword at Sasuke. As you probably know, Kisame's sword it all sharp and spikey, and it also eats chakra, like... a chakra-eating shark... or something. Kikyo Tower Roof Kaoru, disguised by his hat and cloak, held a small gopher-like animal wearing sunglasses as it sat with it's mouth wide open. A voice was coming from the gopher's mouth, as if it was a radio contacting the time-traveler. "Is he there?" The voice asked. "Yes." Kaoru answered. "All is as you said it would be. The invasion will start shortly." "What about the other one?" "Just as you said, she didn't show up." He looked around. "Telling those three to warn her not to come here seems to have worked." He paused. "But... why can't she be here? Why can't he ask her tonight? And why do I have to help in this invasion? I could've done all of this without getting involved. Why won't you give me the details of this mission?" The voice didn't answer. But at length, it said "When the invasion begins, do as you've been told. End transmission." The gopher closed it's mouth and reverted back to being a cowardly little animal. It leaped onto Koaru's shoulder and into his hat. Kaoru stared at the same moon Susumu seemed so proud under. "Mother... I wish I could speak to you. In your voice, I would know this mission was worthwhile..." Hokage Hall Sayuri looked around, noting the time. She knew it was about the time Nanami had told her to be at Kikyo tower, but since her cousin was obviously busy dancing, Sayuri decided not to worry about it just now. But what those girls said still worried her. "Father will know..." She mumbled to herself, taking a step to find her father, but she was held back. "Why don't you stay here and keep Hikaru-kun company until Misaki comes back?" Sakura suggested. "I'll go find your dad." Giving Sayuri peace sign, Sakura left... |

Kikyo Tower Musashi scratched his cheek and looked out the window at the sky. He was starting to get a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. It was almost time, and Sayuri hadn't come. He wondered if something had gone wrong . . . maybe she was running late. He sighed and leaned back against the wall. The cold hand of doubt was reaching for his heart, but he pushed it away. He refused to let such a idea attack him. He had to remain hopeful. After all, he had been optimistic in the face of much more negative odds in the past. He had no idea what would transpire tonight. Kirigakure no Sato Sealed Tower Far away from the peaceful party that was brewing in Konoha there sits the Village Hidden in Mist. In one of the oldest parts of the village there sits a tower of epic proportions. It stretches to the skies above, though the tower has become old and rotten. The wood in the tower split and swelled up, windows were cracked and broken and the metal hinges and doors were rusted over. The tower had been sealed by powerful Jutsu for almost five years. Nearly two years before the Chuunin Exams that served as the start for the stories of so many great ninja, two mysterious figures had hurried inside the tower, shut the door behind them and then activated a series of powerful sealing jutsu many of which were ancient and forgotten, and a few forbidden. Those two figures had gone into the tower and sealed themselves off from the rest of the world for a wicked purpose. A jutsu of unparalleled danger and incredible effects. In that tower there was nothing no food, no water, nothing to do. In the tallest room of the tower there is a sunken pit and inside it burns with jet black flames, around those flames stand the two men who activated this forgotten jutsu. Standing on either side of the flames were the two men, decked out in black cloaks with black hoods. Their hands were making a series of signs, flying rapidly. It was impressive, given that the two men had been standing and doing the same thing for almost five years. Then again, at this point they had no choice. Thanks to the jutsu's dark effects, they did not die from lack of food, water or sleep but they still felt the consequences. Their bodies felt weak and their muscles burned from agony. Their eyelids dropped down and the exhaust of going so long without sleep made them feel as if they might as well be dead. Their stomaches roared and bubbled from the need for food, while their skin was dry from the dehydration. The pain of the jutsu was just part of the danger. The only reason they were not dead was because of the constant flow of chakra from the charcoal colored flames and if they stopped the hand signs for even a second, the full impact of nearly five years without any kind of nourishment for themselves would kick in; instantly killing them. They had both agreed it was worth the risk. That is why they had locked themselves here. That is why they had gone through the pain of creating the specialized clones that had been living and dieing for them these last five years. Another part of the dark ritual, a part not yet ready to be revealed. It is almost time. His voice was weak and cracked, but one of the two men spoke for the first time in over two years. Do not let it distract you. Remain focused until the jutsu is done. The second figure replied. |

Hokage's Hall "*Sigh*" Kenpachi was busy sampling the food at the party, but was also distressed. "Come on! Now why aren't there any Fish and Chips?! This is supposed to be a party that serves party food!" he complained, agitatedly. "Though, maybe Fish and Chips isn't a party food... I've never really thought about that before..." he then poke again, talking to himself. "Maybe, maybe not, but I'm still hungry for some Fish and Chips!" Outside Hokage's Hall Haruko had already returned inside, but Raida remained outside, looking up at the shining moon, and the black butterflies flying occasionally in front of it... EDIT: Konoha The man with the butterflies walked calmly through the night, closing in on the inner part of the village. At most, he had about ten minutes to do what he wanted, before anyone figured would figure out that someone breached Konoha. The midnight fireworks show that was to start any minute ((I hope )) would probably be good enough of a distraction to make it easier to get where he wanted to go.((yet again, edit due to being bored and no one posting)) |

Kikyo Tower "Wow..." A small voice commented besides Musashi. It was none other that his little sister by a few minutes Misaski! "I knew you were doing something cool but this looks sweet!" Misaski sat down next to her brother looking up at the stars, waiting for a reply. Towairaito The ball Susumu had given everybody suddenly came alive with his voice. "Hokage Monument, 10 min, be prepared, we begin." And just like that the voice went silent. Hokage Hall As Hikaru walked over to his friend, Sakura just kinda left. "... Ever get the feeling you just got ditched?" he asked Sayuri. "I can't find Misaski, or your brother, or even Sasuke-Sama anywhere!" He lamented a small sigh before continuing, "It's not like anyone has any plans tonight or anything." Balcony Sasuke eyed the girls suspiciously before he simply sidestepped away from the swinging sword. "I'm the best ninja in this village," Sasuke said ignorantly not mentioning Naruto, "What makes you think you three...what? Genin? Can take me?" Sasuke did not defend himself in any way. "But you can tell Susumu nice try." |

Kikyo Tower Roof After hearing Susumu's voice, Kaoru nodded and dissapeared from the tower to report to the designated location. Balcony As Ishiji missed terribly, Ayu pondered aloud for a moment. "We're not even working with Susumu, Sasuke!" The fishy leader pointed out. "We tried to get in contact with him, but our request was rejected. Instead, we got a tip of where everyone would be tonight, as if the person already knew how the night was gonna end." Ayu liked talking, but Ishiji prefered action. "I'm sick of chatting it up with the guy we came to kill!" She pointed to Sasuke with her sword. "You killed my uncle "You don't know all of that, Ishiji!" Ayu scolded. "However..." With a pause, she made several hand signs. "We know that you had a hand in killing Zabuza-sama, and for THAT I won't let you get away!" The Balcony, and most of the area around it, was then covered in mist. Ayu had used Zabuza's jutsu to try to corner Sasuke as another member of their troupe made a sneak attack... As Sasuke was probably laughing at he three shark ninja, he would feel a sharp pain in his arm, for Ainame had moved her coat's neck to bite Sasuke with her huge teeth. Hokage Hall After Hikaru's complaints about being ditched, Sayuri felt bad about admitting "Actually, I have to go, too... Nanami said to be at Kikyo Tower in a few minutes, but she seems busy... but I think she's still planning on doing whatever it is she was going to do..." Sayuri tried to remember what it was Nanami said was going to happen, as she started to walk away. Since she was thinking while she walked, Sayuri would probably take a long time getting to Kikyo Tower, and might get held up by some, I don't know, invasion or something that would make all three Senin in different places and epicness would insue... or something. But I wasn't thinking that at all. I was just, um, testing you? Whatever.

Kikyo Tower Musashi shook his head at the appearance of his twin and looked over to her. He was so nervous that he had been pacing back and forth for several minutes -- or at least, one of his Kage Bunshin had. While the Shadow Clone paced, Musashi leaned back on his elbows and looked over to his sister. "Ah... so you found me, huh? Not surprising... I haven't been able to hide from you since we were kids." Musashi sighed for a minute, musing about the whole situation. "You know... I'm worried. There's a million things I've thought of that could go wrong. I'm worried about everything from rain to a surprise biju rampage..." He paused. "Then again... every time something horrible has happened -- and it's happened a lot -- things always seem to work out fine. Maybe not how I imagined them originally, but... always for the best, usually for the better. Of course, it would be weird NOT to be worried... this is by far the craziest thing I've ever done; and that includes the time I picked a fight with Lavan-san." He put his hands behind his head. Musashi was one of the few who had no idea that Lavan was alive and well and currently dancing with Nanami. He'd find out eventually, though. He paused and felt a bead of sweat fall. "Ah... sorry to unload all of this on you." He scratched his head and looked to his sister. "... Though, I do feel a bit better..." Dark Alley - Konoha Kusanagi heard the voice of Susumu and she silently began her journey through the darkness towards her ultimate destination. She would erect the barrier, as she had been orderer... but once the invasion was underway, she would have to go about finding her mother's lost item. As she ran through the shadows, something followed behind her on the ground... Balcony Alex remained in the shadows, watching the battle in the mist to the best of his abilities. He didn't get involved because he figured Sasuke could handle this, and also because his babysitter isn't sure if the giant spoon would want him to step in or not. |
