So... anybody see any good movies lately? O.o

I ask, because I have not; but I would like too. XD And could use some recommendations on what's good and what is not.

I know there's a lot of big-named movies out now, just wondering if anyone had seen any of them, and what their opinions of them were.

Hm... a lot of peope didn't like the movie I liked; Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

To me, I thought it was pretty funny because they're both secret agents but they don't know it. But when John (Brad Pitt) found out that his wife, Jane (Angelina Jolie) was an agent ... wow.

Anyway, I thought it was a great movie :)

The new Batman movie was pretty good. I also liked Fantastic Four but they could have done a little better on the fights.

Mr. and Mrs SMith was pretty funny but a little pointless

I share your pain, Rice. Mostly because meh parents are busy with moving and work that we have not time to see movies. But I wouldn't be able to help you anyway, for I have horable taste in movies. Good taste in music, video games, comic books, TV shows, fan fics, and food.

Just not movies. Perhaps it is because I have bad taste in movies that I have seen so many horrible ones, or perhaps it is because I have seen to many horrible ones that I have bad taste. Whichever the reason, I wouldn't trust meh judgement in movies. ;)

I usually never see movies, but recently, I've seen a lot. I saw a "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "War of the Worlds" double feature the other night. What a pair, huh?

CatCF was actually scarier. I actually found WotW to be interesting sociopolitically, especially the scene with the car, if anyone saw it, and also the splinter theme. And there was one scene I found really funny!

But Johnny Depp totally rocked. He was way whacked though.

I was supposed to go see a midnight showing of WotW but that was the night I moved x_x; And I really want to see CatCF... but that little girl with the short bright blonde hair look mucho scary.

And Johnny Depp looked better as a pirate :X BUT I'd like to see CatCF to see a different Johnny Depp than Jack Sparrow <3

That was Violet Beauregard. :o

The reason they made this movie, I heard, was because the last one didn't fit the book. I've read the book, and they did indeed portray it better- though creepier. They took out the parts that weren't in the book.

Also!

"Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" : Story centers on Charlie
"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" : Story centers on Willy Wonka

The book actually bored me =\ But that's just coming from someone who's more of a movie-goer than a readr. I found 3 dollars! Just about 3 more then i can get a movie ticket :3

Violet Beauregard... that's a face I won't be forgetting soon.

So... wait. "Willy Wonka" is about Charlie, and "Charlie" is about Willy Wonka?

 Maybe that'll make sense tomorrow, after I sleep. XD

I never read the book version, or seen the new movie... I saw the old one a long time ago though.

Well, let's see...

Today I watched a bunch of movies. XD Oddly enough, all of them were of a different type. O.o

First I saw an anime film, "Diaboromon's Revenge", which finally debuted in America today. -_-' Took 'em long enough, considering Digimon ended years ago. XD But it was pretty cool.

Then I saw "Saw", that horror movie with Danny Glover. O_O Freaky man. Very freaky.

And now I am ... or was ... watching "Finding Neverland" with Johnny Depp, but I realized I'm weeks behind on updating my fanfic so I forced myself to turn off the TV till I finish it. XD

Oh, and Liz, you're right: Inuyasha: Castle Behind The Looking Glass is awesome. ^^ I have it on VCD in Japanese. Subtitled goodness. But wait, is the English version out? O.O Wow.
