Good result for Liverpool. All other ties still in the balance. I wont be easy for Chelsea in spain. Man Utd have hope with the away goal. I bet Sir Alex was pleased with Scholes getting 2 yellow cards within a few seconds.

My predictions on who will make the semis... Liverpool - PSV will need at least 4 away goals at Anfield and by some mystic opinion I believe they wont be able to do that! Bayern Munich - AC Milan have cocked up one too many times when it comes to this stage of the competition and Munich have some quality players up front and the home advantage will win the match for them. Valencia - They wont bail this, and Chelsea have already given up on the Premier League this year. Spanish team advances. Man Utd - A team with plenty of character and some obvious passion for succeeding in the Champions league and they'll want to stay on course for winning a set of trophies, especially when they are at home, Old Trafford!

Did you here about the crowd trouble. Some were say the police over reacted. But nothing was said about the Man Utd fans trying to kick their way into the Roma Section. At the end of the day, it was trouble at a Football match involving English fans again. Im glad I watch a sport were 99% of the time the fans get on really well. |
