Actually it seems i wasnt the obly person to notice, its kicked up a right fuss.

Petr Cech’s expected return from a fractured skull at Anfield today is in danger of being overshadowed by an extraordinary row between rival sports companies eager to attach their brand to his headguard.

The Czech Republic goalkeeper travelled to Liverpool last night uncertain whether he would make his long-awaited return after adidas, Chelsea’s kit sponsor, demanded that the logo of Canterbury, the Auckland-based rugby specialist which has manufactured the prototype, be covered up.

Chelsea were in talks with both companies to resolve the impasse, but it has been suggested that Cech could refuse to play if forced to go along with adidas’s request.
