One for any I.T. expert out there.

When i go onto any websites via a search engine such as Yahoo or Google, the site loads up and then immediatley closes down shuting the internet down altogether. I can only access web sites via history or favourites.

Ive searched my internet settings and everything looks normal.

Its weird.

Anyone had this before? <dunno>

All Microsoft programs do is take up all of your RAM. I use alternative web browsers, MSN, media player and word/excel programs

Im not too keen on the latest windows updates that take place, I always deny them to take place as it buggers my system up, and my mam's laptop has gone haywire and she doesnt know how to download music and play it using the newly updated media player anymore.

Firefox is pretty good, but they have lots of popups and settings constantly telling you to accept, update everything etc.

You need to change your settings Dicko

Select the add-on COOLIRIS for firefox 2.0, use Trillian instead of MSN Live, Winamp instead of WMP and OpenOffice instead of Microsoft Office.

Foxytunes is also an excellent add-on for Firefox 2.0
