My e-mail box is being bombarded with the above, i have received about 16 today alone. Ive not changed anything on my control panel but this has been going on for the past few days. Ive since gone into my control panel and there doesnt seem to be anyway of stoping them.

Anyone know why im getting these or how i can stop it?

If you are all on hotmail

Go onto emails

in the top right hand side it should say options( in line with today mail calendar contacts). click on that.

Click on
Junk E-Mail Protection
Use these tools to help keep junk e-mail out of your Inbox.

Then click on

Block Senders
Block the delivery of messages from specific addresses or from entire domains.

And type in the address in that it is sending from. Short term but, easy solution

Reckon its a ploy to attract new members or to get back their former members who realised the site was awfull.

Yes the site has lots of forums, but its all driven by self-centered National League fans. If you look on the Super League boards, even the ESL boards on this site are far better than theres and the fact they almost have 5,000 members and over 200,000 posts is beyond a joke imo.

As you say Lacuna, its all a ploy to attract new members, but the bubble will burst eventually and people in mass numbers will try to wreck the site.

Ive heard rugbyleague.org is going to shut down by the end of the year because of lots of server down time and they always ask for new funds to update the software to run the forums etc. A bit like rlfans. Both sites are a joke beyond belief!
