Please note that the following is purely speculation based upon evidence from the previous Pokemon remakes, FireRed and LeafGreen. HeartGoul and SoulSilver will alter or add onto the Pokemon team lineups of the gym trainers throughout Johto, maybe even into Kanto. New trainers might be added to the mix. The reason for this is that it was done in FireRed and LeafGreen, specifically the Celadon City and Viridian City gyms. It may or may not be limited to gym trainers. If included, the GTS Building will be located in a new area, or will be added to an already existing location and not accessible until certain conditions are met, similar to the network machine on the Sevii Isles. I speculate that it might be Goldenrod City, nodding to the Communications Center in Crystal. Items and methods that evolve Generation I and II Pokemon into Generation IV Pokemon, or items to make the former produce Gen4 offspring, will not be available until after the National Dex has been obtained, similar to FireRed and LeafGreen. Pokemon that are not obtainable originally in GSC will not be able to be traded over unless the egg trick is exploited. In addition, because of similar ideas put forth by Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen, trading with DPP won't be possible until the National Dex has been obtained or various activities have been completed. The white rock that appears at the end of Route 224 in DPP might appear in HGSS, although there is nothing to support this other than what Oak says. The TM and HM list from DPP will return in HGSS, similar to the RSE Tm/HM list returning in FRLG. Whirlpool will most likely return as an HM, replacing Defog. |

You already had headbutt trees in D/P/P! Whether the HG/SS variants need honey or not I can't say. I hope not. I wonder what the Radio Station will bring. That Unown Song was the shiz. |

Now that I think about it, will the Safari Zone be open this time around? Since it was there to some extent on G/S. Give it a thought, it would be a perfect place to dump some 3rd and 4th gen. Pokemon. |
