Pokemon Netbattle is an online battle simulator which you can play Pokemon online with. Netbattle was created by TVslan. With Netbattle you don't create teams by having to breed, catch or raise. You may choose all 386 Pokemon, and create a team of six Pokemon. Due to this feature, team building is allot harder than in-game team building for the fact that you're at a disadvantage. You may also connect to hangouts which are called "servers". Netbattle servers are built in automatically with a chat client, which is almost like IRC with players showing on the left side of the chat client.

You can also battle it out with individuals in real time battling with your own custom Pokemon. You can also run your own Netbattle server, which is probably the best option since the Netbattle registry goes down often. Most servers these days have special scripts built in which let you build up your Netbattle server to your own taste. The scripting language used to customize Netbattle servers, is currently. Soon, Competitor might have the capability of customization with a more advanced language reffered to as C++. Although this has not been confirmed as of yet.
