Seasoned Trainer Posts: 1,656 Group: Master Trainer Member #1 Joined: March 13, 2006	I did it on Yellow version with Butterfree, Pikachu, and Starmie. Levels 54, 53, and 57 respectively.

Rookie Trainer Posts: 16 Group: Trainers Member #59 Joined: December 1, 2007	I can speed run under 3 hours with Squirtle, as long as I use the Master Ball on Zapdos. Although one time, I caught him with a Poke Ball. Man, I wish I still had that data. Oh, I also need to use a Repel in Diglett Cave, then catch a Dugtrio so I can beat Surge. Imagine going against him with just a Wartortle. But yeah, Dugtrio is useless after that, I really JUST need Blastoise and Zapdos for the Elite Four.

It wasn't that hard, as my Wartortle was a level 38 Blastoise by that point.
