YAR!! Posts: 759 Group: Trainers Member #2 Joined: March 17, 2006	This is related to art, and the general section is still glitchy... So I'm putting it here. Everybody here knows about these things: http://z12.invisionfree.com/pokemonomegax/...p?showtopic=100 Today, all of my submitted trainer's cards were deleted on DA. Copyright violation. WTF?!?!? According to DA... I'm violating something. What I don't understand... There are like soooooooooo many recolors from I.E. Cynthia, Gary, Gym Leaders... And DA is crawling with those... That and a big part comes from Pokecharms, that generates trainer's cards, making one not to do any effort at all. I wonder... Why me? This has happened earlier... With my Demyx card. I hihgly doubt I'm dealing with the same person here, that reported Demyx a few weeks ago though.... And another strange thing - my other trainers (without the cards) are still there. Hmm. Wait! I know... My other trainer sprites are still up on DA. That means that the violation is IN the cards, not the sprite. So... If I only upload the sprites... Hmmm, yes.

I can't believe someone had reported your Demyx card, too...maybe they were just jealous...hrm. But seriously, I don't understand how those trainer cards could be considered to be copyright violations...I mean, people do tons of stuff with Square Enix characters on DA, so why do the trainer cards violate their rules? I don't get it ;___; Anyway...that sucks, I feel bummed for/with you. u_u Do you think there's any chance of getting them back on DA?

You're saying that your hard-worked on Trainer Sprites have been DELETED from Deviant Art?! That's not fair!! And about PokeCharms. Those Trainer Sprites have been made by people...and then someone just takes them and posts them on DA?! Do they even give credit to the maker?! Hm...goes to Deviant Art I must inverstigate.

I'll be creating my own Trainer's Card design (kingdom hearts/Org. XIII style, I have something nice in mind), and redo some trainer sprites. Not sure about the last thing though. Those Pokecharms generated trainer's cards do seem fine, while mine get deleted cuz the o so violate the copyright policy. Blehhh. Suckers. And using pokecharms gererated cards is stealing! It even violates their own policy too, stating clearly that you can't use the custom trainers unless you have permission from the artist to post it elsewhere!
