A L E R T ! Although CFoDC established a Disaster Fund following the the wildfires that swept through last fall, those resources are located near San Diego and therefore somewhat difficult to access. We are doing what we can, but we need your help in order to assist those whose pets may be affected by the fires ongoing in Newhall/Santa Clarita/Yorba Linda/Corona and elsewhere. If you are able to provide supplies, food, fostering or anything else, please send your contact info to any of those listed below and we will send out periodic follow up Alerts to our membership. And of course, if you are in the unfortunate position of needing help with your pets, please provide your contact information so that we can direct you to the appropriate resources. It was due to the generosity of our membership that we were able to establish our Disaster Fund, which came as the result of one of many emergencies when our members stepped forward without hesitation to offer their assistance. We may disagree on many aspects, but it’s in times like these that we see the loyalty and cohesiveness of those who share their lives with dogs. We are proud to be a member of this very special community and thank you in advance for your help.
