All Hail The Queen Dork Posts: 2,990 Group: Headmistress Member #1 Joined: July 27, 2005	What d'you guys think about the Harry Potter fandom? over the past years it has grown tremendously. Just about anything you can think of theres something out there ppl put an HP twist on. Theres fan fiction, fan art, sites, podcasts, forums, fans fangirling fans. D'you guys think that the fandom is getting too big? Is it just right? and where d'you think it is going? Is it going to die out anytime soon or are we gonna be like those ppl who go to star wars or star trek conventions?

I guess because of the movies, more people are getting hooked. Which is kind of good and bad I guess. I hope the fandom dies down slowly, because after the seventh movie, I doubt any new people will come to love Harry Potter.

Posts: 33 Group: Hufflepuff Member #97 Joined: November 25, 2005	Yeah I think after the last book is done and the last movie is made the fandom will die down some, but I know there will be people that will stick around. I don't think the Harry Potter fandom will ever go away though. There will always be new people becoming interested in the books and movies, especially when the kids of current fandom members are born. Which is kinda scary. I don't want to think about kids yet. AHH!
