you have a point there. you wouldn't really be a nice person if you're willing to kill another so that you can live longer.

heres maybe a bit more complicated of a question. we all know you have to kill someone to make a horcrux, a horcrux is something of value that you put a piece of your soul into. what kind of effects do you think it would have on a person to have their soul ripped in two or in voldy's case seven pieces? is that what caused his transformation physically to look more snakelike and demonic?

Perhaps.. I would think that when you'd kill someone and rip out your soul it would mess with you a lot. Physically, emotionally, mentally.

That is a good question and that has to be a downside to making a horcrux. It's like when Firenze said that Voldemort is living a half life by drinking the Unicorn blood. To rip out soul seems to be worse than that. I'm wondering if it brings a weakness to the person. I don't know how though. We do know that the more times you rip your soul the less human you are. Let's face it Voldemor after he came back cannot be labeled a human being. He looks like a snake, acts like snake, and has no feelings at all completely empty. Now as we looked back at Voldemort's life we see he is a sociopath and he has no concious. The horcruxes I think makes you empty any hope for Voldemort to love or to be loved is gone out the fucking window. Maybe the curse that horcrux brings in a loss of humanity not just by your action but how it saves you. You may be saved you may have a life, but you really don't have anything else. And I do believe that Harry will find a weakness in Voldy's horcrux plan-- I can't even speculate right now.

oooooh nice one. yeah it does seem like a logical way to go. your soul is what makes you human, without it your pretty much a vegetable...take the dementors kiss for example. i can see that being the case man. thanks for a half-assed answer

not really, that's something that's a bit too obvious. Harry Potter rocks and such, but mine are so beat up that someone would just have to look at them wrong and they'd be destroyed.
