Ron Needs To Fight!; R/Hr (might be some HBP spoilers)

Skanky Pope! Posts: 617 Group: Deputy Headmistress Member #7 Joined: July 31, 2005	Ron Needs To Fight Fight for the right to paaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrttttttyyyyyyyy! (yeah that’s so not what I’m meaning to say) lol. The most frustrating part of being a Ron/Hermione shipper is how slow it’s coming along. And there is always one constant obstacle which is Ron Weasley. Think about it, if Ron got his act together Hermione and Ron could have been dating in fourth year, but the truth is Ron just didn’t get it… and in the sixth book he REALLY didn’t get it. First Book: Ron of course doesn’t like Hermione at first, why? Because he was insecure and here’s this muggle born know it all out shining you in everything. Enough to drive any decent bloke crazy, but there’s one thing Ron knew … “Hermione was going to be a constant pain in his ass”. Second Book: Hermione got petrified and in a lot of ways I think that is the turning point for Ron’s feelings. He becomes protective, he defends her when Malfoy calls her names, he gets this instinct animal need to protect her and defend her. Third Book: Awkward touching, stubbornness on both parts, and a constant struggle between Ron and Hermione. Fourth Book: Ron realizes Hermione is a girl, too late. He spends most of this book in a fit of jealousy and does nothing about it. Fifth Book: More bickering, a mysterious Christmas present of perfume for Hermione, and a good luck kiss that sends Ron into the clouds when before he was nervous wreck from hell. Sixth Book: Things started moving along for Ron/Hermione then Ron finds out Hermione kissed Krum, making Ron feel insecure again—and causing him to make the biggest mistake in his life (Lavender) so that he can realize the gift he has in front of him. All the problems stem from Ron’s insecurity, childishness, and the fact that he just doesn’t get it. Now, this is the first time I’m ever going to criticize my Ronald Weasley. Hopefully, he’ll understand. He’s an idiot in the worst possible way. In my opinion Ron needs to fight for Hermione. No not fight on her behalf by defending her (he does that on instinct), but he needs to fight for her. In the fourth book instead of acting like a jealous idiot he should fought for her—steal her from Krum! In the sixth book he should fought for her instead of letting a silly kiss get in the way. In the fifth book he should fought for her instead of constantly dragging himself down by his insecurities and stubbornness. In a lot of ways I think that’s why Hermione was frustrated with Ron in the fifth book, she knew he like her, and she’s waiting for him to fight for her, to make the grand gesture, to fight for her! So this is what I think, Ron needs to fight for Hermione, that is the only way they can be together successfully. Ron needs to give Hermione what she has been looking for, a man she can depend on, who can open up, take care of her, and fight for her. Am I crazy? or am I right?

Unregistered	Yeah I think that Ron really needs to take a hint or two or three here. I dunno if when he got with Lav Lav if he was trying to make Hermione jealous or if he just wanted a girlfriend or 'snogging buddy' as it turned out to be. Hermione dated Mclaggan (ahh its been too long!) just to make Ron jealous...and it worked...I have really no idea what he truely thought of it though. There is definately something between them though...it seems like Hermione is expressing her feelings more than Ron...which is typical for a girl I guess. I dunno..but if they don't do something soon...I'm gunna get maddd!!! sighs....there is still one book left, right guys??

DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!!!!! better yet fred and george should've helped him in a mischeify way. [/size] ok thats it once i can actually write stuff without it sounding crappy i'll write my own harry potters. may take a few years but it'll happen.

I'm glad he didn't. I think with Ron we needed to see him mature and come into his own. That's what he did and that's what in the end won him the the snog in the final battle. I don't think that Hermione would have liked or rewarded him in anyway by getting in a fight with Krum lol

Sexy leg woman Posts: 1,442 Group: Gryffindor Member #16 Joined: July 31, 2005	(Spoiler if you haven't read DH yet one of my own family members hasn't finished HBP yet) Through the seventh book Ron also did a few boneheadded moves that pissed Hermione off, major one being when he stormed off, though thinking about Hermione beating up Ron for basically being a git makes me giggle. I'm not sure if his mentioning the house elves was an intentional thing or something he just thought of and was givin a surprisingly plesent reward. The constant fighting between Ron and Hermione slowly built up their relationship and eventually lead to the little make out in the middle of battle which made Harry a bit uncomfortable, though he had suspected it to happen in HBP or at least pondered it. Girlscout's gotten more incitfullish...and I think I may have discovered through this forum a topic for my final paper when I re-take CompII next spring

Mental, That One! Posts: 783 Group: Gryffindor Member #4 Joined: July 30, 2005	The best part of this ship is the fact that you never really KNOW what they're doing when Harry isn't there... I mean, they could be shagging in the common room while Harry is being lectured by Snape... It's the point of view part that gives the effect of them actually getting together in the end (sorry if you haven't read the last book yet... O_O) a big Ooomph! So, Yeah, Ron is a bit slow on the flirting thing, but Hermione wasn't exactly a direct approach girl... She spent most of her time cursing Ron for NOT understanding! Well, All I can say is that... It was funny when they DID snog! LMAO, Harry was like- Really Guys? Right Now? XD
