I've been up to my neck in 'other stuff' lately, and it looks like it's going to be that way for the next few months. Still, can't complain. Pays the bills. Maybe we don't mention AUSTRALIA, AUSTRALIA, AUSTRALIA enough times for the search engines to find us. Also, and I've only just realised this, I forgot to pay this month's bill so you won't be getting any replies to your postings. I dunno. I'm not sure it really does make a great deal of difference, other than to my bank account and Zetaboards. They did let me have 2 months instead of 1 because of the kerfuffle, which was nice. (Turning into a cliche man). I keep promising it but one day I'll revamp the whole forum into something fresh and new with all the right whistles and flutes. It doesn't look too big a job. But will the people come... Friends, if you're reading this it would be nice to let me know. Dave, you back on the Gold Coast or still freezing your nuts off in Toowoomba? Thought that's what airconditioning engineers did anyway... Paul.

Trying to get in front with everything as we are popping up to the UK next week for a family visit. Just a couple of weeks for me. Thanks to the Singapore Airlines cheap flight sale Also learning the ropes on how to be a mod in one of the Adelaide forums. Barred 3 spammers so far!

Cal x Cal, whilst I appreciate you not wanting to 'over-do' the business advertising, I personally have no problem with anyone listing their business on Koala Konnection and then getting stuck in and publicising what they do further. Just in case anyone's missed it, I've put up the photos of the black striped Wallaby we caught in the garden the other day. Paul

Paul Thank you Paul,, although i don't even over advertise on the forums i moderate,lol, its just not my style, a signature and useful post in reply to someone works better than a paragraph of selling yourself. Been off camping down in Cornwall for 2 weeks - watching the Boardmasters competition in Newquay, even had a surfing lesson myself (spent more time in the water than on it!) had such a laugh though. Tyke's zoomed off to the UK. But we have a new member - Donna - so all is well in the universe. I've been burning the late-night oil, so haven't had much of an inclination to go and type - terrible I know but it's true. I guess most others are busy, busy, busy (or sunbathing). It's been a great winter. Think we're in spring now, and summer by the weekend. The pound's still pants. What are house prices doing your end? Surfy Dude

Saw some fantastic VW's whilst we were down there, George is now thinking about buying a camper House prices haven't really moved much around here unfortunately, although houses now seem to be selling a bit quicker, fingers crossed by the time we're ready to head off things might have picked up a bit more. Got the push from work, (last in, first out!!!!!!) lost company wheels, so have no transport, house up for sale(see For Sale Forum), going to move nearer to CBD (Southport), still out of work and starting to get worried now, you would think that my trade(aircon/refrigeration) I would have no problem getting the work!!!!!!!! So at the moment, life is not treating me too good. Ay ho, it all happens for a reason...................... Aircon
