Hi everyone! we have been back home a week now after validating our visa and getting back into a normal routine. We had a great time out in Perth even if it did rain for most of our stay! But at least we have now seen the best and worst of the weather that WA can offer!! One piece of good news is that my hubby might have a job lined up for when we move out there after our baby has been born. We are quietly optimistic, its nothing concrete but if he does get it they would pay for all the extra training he would need to do and it would mean earning a salary straight away rather than using our savings. We found out about through a friend who works for the same company. The job does depend on funding and they are willing to wait till we can get there. We are not getting our hopes up though as anything can happen but please all keep your fingers crossed!!!!! So now we are trying to de-clutter the house as it will be a bit hectic after the baby has been born as well as having a 3 year old running around so we will be prepared as we can be to finally move!! Gosh! So much going on and so much good news! It's always nice to hear when things 'just click' (although the work to make them do so never fully gets told and is the hard graft). My fingers are crossed for you. What were your impressions of Perth and the suburbs, etc. It would be nice to know. I've never been but my wife was over there a few weeks ago working in the city. Unfortunately she didn't get to see much due to massive work commitments other than a day off when she did the tourist things like visiting Perth Mint and having fish and chips at Cicerellos in Fremantle.
