Hi Rob, Denise, Juddy and Lydia

Hello and a big welcome to the site.

Have you started your visa process yet, if so, where are you up to? Any idea where you'll be settling?

Nosey beggar aren't I (sorry :$ )! My timeline is below - we're heading for Adelaide and hope to be there by the end of the year (fingers/toes etc etc crossed)

All the best.

Hi and welcome guys.

As Tallyho asks - any idea where you'd like to move??

Top tip................ Research,research,research.!

Very warm here in Adelaide today...44c and last night just did not cool down.Yet we can get cool winter with the odd frosty morning.
I like having seasons and low humidity.

Hello KNIGHTS OF CARLETON.

Sorry, don't know where Carlton is, but would like to know. Any info on Brisbane and surrounding areas I can probably help you with. We moved out about 4 years ago from Cheshire-ish/Flintshire-ish region.

Since Tyke mentioned the temperature in Adelaide (did I hear right that the temp overnight didn't drop below 33? Yikes!) up here in Queensland we've been experience TOO MUCH RAIN and temps in the high 20s to low 30s. I like the warm winters though, but you can ditch the rain in summer!

Yup - never dropped below 33c last night, the exterior walls of the house were just radiating heat.Should have slapped some steak and eggs on!

At least it's a dry heat!
