Was on the internet with my eldest doing some Geography homework (honest guv) and we were looking at a map of Australia and we noticed some very funny place names :-

Mount Buggery, Victoria
Tittybong, Victoria
Wet Beaver Creek
:happynod: :happynod:

Anybody think of any more?

There's a Bald Knob nearby...

Although it's not naughty, it is quite funny. There's a Mt. Hopeless waiting to be climbed in South Australia, if anyone can be bothered.

She's nearly 11 - luckily she didn't really get Mt Buggery or Wet Beaver Creek and I wasn't about to explain them either!! but she did find Tittybong funny.

I'm off to see what else I can find - obviously during my lunch hour as I am far too busy at work :sticktongue:

There's a Thrashbush in England - sounds painfull and don't fancy visiting!

And Bendova in Prague!!

Ooh I could go and on and on! (yes I know I'm a woman - nuff said). :rolleyes2:
