Hi, I am new to all this. I am looking to coming out to Oz in two years time. It will be just my son who will be 11 and myself. I will be a trained nurse so will be looking for a job in this area. I have no idea where i would like to live though i do like the sea side, and need family friendly. I also dont really no a lot about how i go about getting visa's etc hence starting to do all this now.
Any ideas or advice would be great.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Nurses seem to be very much in demand so hopefully your visa application will be an easy one.

As to where to live - that's a tough one.
Adelaide has all we want and is family friendly - but I'm not suggesting you just consider this area.
We have the seasons here as well.We are in winter at the moment and it gets a little nippy - but then in mid summer it's very hot but with little humidity.

Most cities have easy access to the beach but the nearer you are the more expensive in general.
We live 10 mins away from the beach and have sea views,a trip to the beach feels "special" as we are not seeing it every day.

Good luck :)

Hi Melio73

Welcome to the forum. You asked for advice with regard to migration and it strikes me that it might be a good idea to use the free services offered through our sister site, Koala Konnection. Contact Maryanne at True Blue Migration (see her advert appear in the rotating banners above - click on her). As a nurse you'll be in high demand all over and I'm sure Maryanne will point this out to you, but she'll probably be able to tell you where the 'better' places are to relocate to. She's based in Perth, WA. Just click on the banner when it shows.

Hey, so long as you don't head to the Outback, you'll be fine. Everywhere around the coast seems to have that 'wow factor'. Spoilt for choice, I think. See what Maryanne says about the family friendly spots in Perth.
