Mrs Tyke returns from her UK hols in the morning. So it's spit, polish and shine day. Not as though I've let the house "go" but I want it extra nice for her arrival. Anyone arriving on Singapore Airlines at 7.50 am on Tues morning will see a very happy couple reunited

I'm pleased to say the Eagle has landed - safe and sound. Looking remarkably well for that long journey. Luggage crammed with new clothes from the UK I note

Knickers! And one's that fit comfortably. That's what every woman wants (so I'm told...) and M&S is where you'll find 'em (ditto...) Did you read my post about Dino at Wimbledon? I emailed him and it was him. The ball bounced off the Radio 5 studio roof like a ping pong ball and he caught it. Spooky. Later on he got interviewed on radio! Keeping with the spooky trend... So a couple of days after the Wimbledon event I emailed a chap on Ebay that I'd never emailed before about a classic vehicle he has for sale. He replied and recognised my name that appears with my email. Turns out the guy spoke to me in 1998 (he remembers the conversation!) and he worked with Mrs Admin too before departing for Australia. How crazy is that?!? And then somewhere in the ether I mentioned that I'd never felt more fit and healthy... Well damn me if I didn't come down with a bug these last few days.Where's that lottery ticket? Oh, yes, I've never bought one... Saved more than what most have won! Perhaps I should...

It only turns out they are guests in one of our rentals next week I recently ha to call the Yorkshire bank in the UK.The person I spoke to just happened to ask if I knew !@#$%^& - hat sent a shudder down my spne - I do know them and they were calling up to our place for some olive oil that !

Mrs Admin and I were walking around Sydney. We were crossing a bridge close to the aquarium (ie not the harbour one) and about half way across we passed an old school pal of the Mrs. They walked past each other before the penny dropped. Each turned around to face the other and called each other's name out. They hadn't seen each other for about a decade. She was on a trip around the world and had just landed from Bali or Fiji (I can't remember - it was the early nineties) and we were on holiday traveling between Adelaide and Brissy. One place, one bridge! Another missed opportunity on the lotto. |

It is! What's the chances of bumping into you on this forum! LOL Mind you, I'm pathetic. Dave, I don't think we're ever going to go for a group meet-up, not until we all move to Adelaide... I'm real busy with work and there's no chance of getting time off soon, now. Having said that, me and the Mrs are off to Brisbane this weekend for a little R&R because today's our wedding anniversary - and we're both bloody working!!! Well, I'm posting, but I like to think of it as 'light' work. Yeh, right... Has this post gone completely off track? That doesn't seem right. I'll start another... |
