Anyone for tennis? Posts: 647 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: March 23, 2006	Yes, but it looks like it'll be me and you. I know, I know, there are plenty of others I could email but it would also be nice if the 'others' dropped in every now and then to let us know they're still alive and kicking. This forum base is less than ideal. I don't even get a message when someone emails me any more. I thinks that's 90% of the problem. It says you can opt in under the 'Preferences' section to receive emails but it doesn't work. It's the same with posting pictures. I've set it so we can all post - well, yes, but you're not allowed to see the images, are you. People post and then never get a reminder. I get heaps of reminders from the British Expats site. I guess that's the difference between a site that isn't a freebie and one that is. Any of the Adelaide crew fancy a trip up north for a couple of hours for some winter warmth? Calling people from Perth? Um, thought that might be stretching it a bit. Frank? You okay to pop over from South America? We've had a few Indians and a Singaporian join recently. Guys - come on, you know you want to! Oh well. Look mate, we'll pop down and see you some time. I've really gotta head your way to pick up some panels for the old VW kombi, but you're more than welcome to make a weekend of it up our way if you and Kath fancy a break. I'd definitely rope Cath and Paul and a few of the others into doing something then. Last time I mentioned beach cricket but I think that scared them all away. How does canoing on the lake sound? Paul.

Every now and then we have a little bit of rain and then it's 23 degrees again, out of the sun. Would like to come down to the Gold Coast. Will hold off until the chilly weather clears... P.
