What a lovely day it is here in Adelaide for Mothers Day.

Wall to wall sunshine :D :D

Not bad for late Autumn.

Off for a walk around the forest later with 3 insane Bedlington Terriers.

It's been a lovely day here too. The forecast was for sunshine and showers, possible late thunderstorm  but nothing of the sort, and no rain. Mind you, we could do with a sprinkle. Went biking, then tennis and finally ice cream at Mooloolaba. In the UK I might have just sat looking at the telly...

BTW - have added your details - www.auseelife.com.au to the Koala Konnection website - accommodation section, as promised. :D

Same temp as here yesterday - but the weather here i Adelaide has a different "feel" to it.
I reckon it must be due to lower humidity - the eat is certainly not retained - if you get my drift.

I always remember how sapping a temp of over 26c there was - here it needs to et over 35c.
The nights are clear and fresh - the wood burner makes it nice and cosy on an evening. :D

Ooh stop - I can't get there quick enough!!! :D

Anything over 24 here and it definitely saps you - that's the only thing that bothers the OH - trying to work in high temperatures - working on building sites etc in the heat is a killer (so he likes to tell me - me thinks its just an excuse to sit with a beer!! ).

A beautiful day today. The sky so blue, the air so warm.

They're talking 25 degrees today, but it'll feel a lot warmer than that with the sun on your back. And to think, were almost into winter :D

I know what you mean by that. I've visited Oz 4 times and recall particurlarly my first trip in 1991...on the flight home we stopped at Alice Springs for 2 hours...well it isn't much of an airport and we had to disembark and stand around outside the "airport" ...so spent 2 hours soaking up the last of the sun befor heading back to wintery England (was January) ...

It felt lovely.....wasn't till we were back on the plane the pilot told us it was 40 degrees :o :o

It just didn't feel that hot...there was not sticky humidity at all....just lovely pleasant sunshine :D

I would give anything for a Queensland climate over here at the minute - goes from black clouds, very high winds and now its absolutely heaving it down!! Typical British summertime :'(

Hey ho, one day I'll be there.

I have to report it is very cold in Adelaide.
It's been this way for the last few days.

Lots of good rain though.

I feel sorry for our recent guests arriving, even though they knew it's winter I think it took them by suprise.
At least they have come at the worst time and won't be in "holiday mode" :)

Well its freezing here at the minute and we actually had a load of snow yesterday!!! Its half term so the girls loved it - running round the garden driving the dog completely nuts :happynod:

Could really do with a bit of Oz sunshine right now.

Adelaide has had two attempts at snow in the hills in the 8 years I've been here.It did not lay though.

Wish it snowed instead of sunshine the other day.
I had a 6 hour fishing session the other day - forgot to put sunblock on my legs and feet - Ow,ow,ow,ow!!!! I look like this guy but not happy.
