Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for companies that they've used or know if someone has used for transporting pets over?

Have got a couple of quotes (ranging from £1,000 up to £2,500!) - but just wondered if anyone has used a company and what they thought of them?

Thanks.

We used Golden Arrow in Shropshire. Cat didn't seem to mind. She flew from Manchester to Sydney via one or two brief refulling stopovers with BA. She spent 1 month in quarantine - enough time for us to get sorted in Australia. Then she was despatched from Sydney to Brisbane, where we picked her up at the airport.

Golden Arrow built a wooden cat box and pretty much sorted out everything. The quarantine station in Sydney was excellent - a person is allocated a pet to look after and that person is your contact. Literally, if you want to know how Rex or Tigger is doing on a day by day basis you simply telephoned them. Really nice people to deal with.
