Anyone for tennis?

The winds seem to be coming from the south and it's chilly. Brisbane's only 20 degrees and we're about 18, but the wind chill! The low sun is shining on the north side and warming up the house through the glass windows, slowly.

Oh well, it is winter after all. :D

Roll on spring! Less than three months to go. Mind you, a few days ago it was 26 degrees...

Now to my real question. I've tried the DVD approach and now I'm thinking about giving something else away to encourage use of this 'ere forum. Anyone got a suggestion? Perhaps I shouldn't be giving stuff away and there's another means to encourage use.

Yours in hope.

How about the promise of a beer and a bbq when you visit down under !

At last I've just finalised the apartments for ou first trip.

Magic Mountain resort Gold Coast and Pumicestone Blue Caloundra. Please no bad reviews, I'm all reviewed out.

Should be in the Sunshine coast by 3rd August for 6 nights if anyone's available

Ah yes, I can see it now... :D A well travelled Dr I would be!

Alan, perhaps the Aircon Kid and I (plus anyone else who's here then) can arrange a meet up with you and family?

Pumicestone Bl.... Ha, you're joking right? Ha, ha, well, well, I have never been there! It'll be fine. Had you going for a mo... ;)

I wonder if Jamie will be here by then? Anyone know? He's offline at the mo...

Just keep us posted closer to the time Alan.

Paul.

Oh, PS, I missed your car rental posting, sorry. Airconkid seemed happy enough with the company he used but just so you know the company I was thinking of that your were thinking of is/was Abels, I think. I can never remember there name. If you go to the Koala Konnection site and look under car rentals there's a web site called Zoom advertising that does a price comparison of the cheapest rates available from the big names. Might also be handy. Let us know what you decide. P.
