Good Day to you all

Hi We are moving from Banbury (im originally from S.Wales OH Isleworth London) to North Brisbane in late September. My other half (Tim) is an Electrician and we have three girls Seren 3.5 going 35 Robyn 2 and Lola 1 so as you can imagine very busy with terrible ones twos and Three's.

We where originally going to live in Perth near my sister, but the house prices are out of our range so we decided on North Brisbane as in 2000 my husband and I took a year out and went traveling through Asia Aus and NZ and we enjoyed our time in Brisbane (although minus 2 at nights I nearly died) and loved Noosa (to expensive) and we also loved Magnetic Island one of our highlights of our Trip.

Our first aim was to live in NZ so who knows what the future may hold.

I’m currently at college and have nearly completed an access course to train as a midwife but have had a change of heart and am looking at occupational Therapy (decent hours of work and I believe good pay).

In February my sister in Law is flying out to live with us while she studies and then hopefully she will also get her Visa and a nice man.

We have looked at lots of area's Caboolture took our fancy and my heart is still there but have not had any positive reports on the place so have started looking at Caloundra. Pelican Water, Little Mountain. As long as there is work there I think we will be open minded......we liked the look of Caboolture as there seemed to be a lot more land (to loose the kids in) with the houses....and was thinking of having a luxury wooden cabin for visitors (yes dreaming) oh yes and a RSL club which sadly we spent most of our time is when backpacking and had a good laugh and met lots of lovely people (a lot older) but full of good stories........

So hopefully when we get out there will be a BBQ or a get together (need baby sitters) oh and lots of beer for other half wine and anything that’s going for me.

Any information or recommendations we would gladly like.

Ta Ta for now

Hi Sara, Tim & the Girls!

Welcome to the forum. This really isn't the place (welcome forum) to start discussing the merits of Brisbane or Caboolture, or RSLs in fact because I'll get a prod from a moderator ;) but even so I'd say they're all rather good! :)

Nice to have you on board.

Paul.

Hi Sara!

Just wanted to say "hi" - we are heading over in aug for a peep around so sorry can't help you with areas! Just wanted to ask how do you manage with terrible ones, twos and threes!!!! I've only got to deal with one terrible two's and that's bad enough! I'm hoping the aussie laid back attitude will rub off on her!
