Just about to sell ALL my fish from my pond.(Boo Hoo!!)
It is a hobby I have enjoyed for almost 10 years.
Question is; Do they have fish ponds in gardens in QLD? I must admit that I did not notice them when we were over for our recci, and I did not notice fish/pond related items in any shops.
If they do have ponds, what breeds of fish??

Aircon ;)

Big ones mate! Ponds and fish. Don't ask me what they're called.

Strangely enough we're contemplating a fish pond. I was quite skeptical to begin with as termites are everywhere and I didn't know if they ate fish. Or was it the birds I was worried about? Anyway, apparently you can have a pond but just make sure its got plenty of leafy pondy stuff in it so the fish can hide and above all ensure that the frogs or toads don't all end up in it.

We're thinking of having an above ground pond. Not because of the termites silly, just so we can sit on the edge in comfort and dangle our tootsies in on a hot summer's day.

Fish now gone. Not a happy bunny. Spent years looking after them. But, at the end of the day, they have paid a quarter of our one way flight to Brissie. (Every cloud and all that!!)

You're going to love going around some of the builder's display homes. It's not uncommon to have a modern style fish pond form a centrally enclosed feature in some of them!
