hello everybody my name is richard and my wife is sally we have 3 children naomi(16)jack(5)and sam(1)we are applying for a skilled independent 136 visa and will be going for our medicals on the 24th of april.we are looking at movin to somewhere on the sunshine coast ,we havnt visited australia and are not planning to before we emigrate so any advice will be welcomed thank you

hi im a baker,we decided on the sushine coast because of all the towns in alose proxcimity and its beauty we didnt think we could afford to live there but after some research found that we could,i applied for a job at dough fusion and got a positive response from the owner he told that bakers are scarce in that area ,i would love some advice about where would be the best place for us to start fom does anybody know what the mountains are like are they to quiet to live are they close to the beach and bigger towns thanks or you replies look forward to reading more

The hinterland is about 20-30mins drive from the beach there. I am going off when we were in coolum.

there arent that many mountains from recollection..there are the glass house mountains and coolum mountain. if anyone can add the others then that would be great.

Where abouts was the baker based??

hi cathnpaul,the baker was based in coolum,how long does it take to drive the length of the sunshine coast,he sounded really positive of my job prospects in that area,im thinking i dont mind a thirty minute drive to work ,which is the biggest and most central town thanks for your help richxx

Just out of interest Batman,

we are taking on a guy as a trainee Air Con. engineer.

His present job? A Master Baker @ a Tesco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he'll be starting on 6-7 quid an hour.

Not a fantastic wage, but once quallified, you more or less write your own cheque!!

I pulled £33,500 this last year. (April to April)

The only other thing Batman,
is you need to be in your selected trade for a minimum of three years, before you can emmigrate.........Food for thought!!!
