This will give you some form of reassurance. http://www.themara.com.au If you are searching for an agent, you can tell how long they have been registered by the first two numbers of their mara number. For example if their number starts 97 then they registered in 1997... if its 05 then they registered in 2005.

Although ..... first round on you if we have a meet in Oz - we'll all be skint after paying our agents bills!!! Jo Needed our agent and he was worth every single penny. we talked about this and said we dont reckon we would have got the visa as i had missed 3 signatures off and the form was sent back to us with it highlighted and we needed help towards the end of the app when family tree questions arose and med questions.
