Some local magistrates courts dont charge for any document certification required. However, please ring them first to make sure that they do/do not charge.

Also, solicitors charge different amounts - that also pays to ring around. Some of our local solicitors charged £5 per copy...but a friend suggested a different area solicitor who charged £1 per copy, but because it was in bulk charged me a basic flat rate of £20 for two sets of copies.

If you do use a solicitor make sure they put their names on all the documents and their address whilst including their business stamp.

I am sure other people will have some suggestions as to cheap ways of document certification.
