It'll be nice during the day, but a little cool at night. Generally clear blue skies and sunshine.

It was quite breezy too when we went. But I wouldnt say it was shorts weather as such. In fact we only brought the shorts out of the case when we went even further north.

My father, now in his sixties, who lives in Caloundra, never gets out of shorts! All year around!

I think he must have lost all sense in his legs, but he prefers winter because it's dry and pleasant. Still chilly at night. On the coast they can have a frost, but up in the hills where we are it never drops below 6 degrees at night. How's that for winter lows? :D

LOL - got this image of a man with blue legs.

We may have been there when it was a 'cooler' winter. I know we found it definately cold when we were in NSW and Melbourne though. significantly!!

He's one of those that swims all year around too!

I've added a weather channel data section (in all its glowing Technicolor) to the welcome page of the site. It mucks things up a little (layout) so I'll try and find something a bit smaller or put it into a section all on its own. However, it's here for the time being so check it out! :D

PS yesterday it was 30 - 33 here, blue skies and glorious baking sunshine but today it's a lot more bearable and overcast. What a difference a day makes.
