It was quite breezy too when we went. But I wouldnt say it was shorts weather as such. In fact we only brought the shorts out of the case when we went even further north. |

My father, now in his sixties, who lives in Caloundra, never gets out of shorts! All year around! I think he must have lost all sense in his legs, but he prefers winter because it's dry and pleasant. Still chilly at night. On the coast they can have a frost, but up in the hills where we are it never drops below 6 degrees at night. How's that for winter lows?  P. |

LOL - got this image of a man with blue legs. We may have been there when it was a 'cooler' winter. I know we found it definately cold when we were in NSW and Melbourne though. significantly!! |

He's one of those that swims all year around too! I've added a weather channel data section (in all its glowing Technicolor) to the welcome page of the site. It mucks things up a little (layout) so I'll try and find something a bit smaller or put it into a section all on its own. However, it's here for the time being so check it out! Paul. |

PS yesterday it was 30 - 33 here, blue skies and glorious baking sunshine but today it's a lot more bearable and overcast. What a difference a day makes. |
