I'm Jo (31) primary teacher, Hubby Craig (30) retail manager and daughter Ruby (2) cheeky monkey! We've just sent off my skills assessment so in very early stages. Booked flights to visit in August for 2 weeks - love it to be longer but that's another story! Would love to hear from anyone with any info that will help us. If you have any tips how we can make the most of our visit and any tips on car hire and accomodation that will be fab! Cheers Jo x

We're going for a skilled visa - I've gathered all the info for my skills assessment so sending off to agent today for them to send to Teaching Australia. So fingers crossed! We used www.check-in.com.au for all our accommodation for our months trip to Oz. in December/January 07. We stayed in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and back to Brisbane. We used check-in for all our stays, and you only have to pay a SMALL deposit now, then pay hotel direct. Hope you find this usefull. All the best Dave

Dave - I'll have a look at that website as prefer to go with recommendations so cheers! Catherine! - How funny??? I'll definately take you up on the offer for a chat! I'm sure there'll be lots of things I'll need help on so thank you! Well had confirmation that my application is being processed by teaching australia so fingers crossed! If a positive result we can then send off for visa. It's such a waiting game! But hopefully worth it! We know we're gonna have some ups and downs - felt I've had a few already but if we're gonna do it then I'll have to get used to that! Jo x
