Always had a clean licence, even though I'll admit to going over 70 on the UK motorways just to keep up with everyone else, or not fall too far behind. But then you don't get a ticket for going just over 70, do you? Don't you need to be doing 85 or something? Yes, the police are hot over here. They hide their 4wds and put a little sign out the size of a postage stamp just a few feet from their hidden vehicle to let you know they have a speeding camera. The sign's usually hidden too. I don't know why they bother telling us. You only see it once you're just a few yards away or past their vehicle. Don't get me wrong. Queensland, my home state, seems to be full of people in a hurry. I drive classic cars so I tend to go slow or up to the limit for a good reason. Quite how the 356 is going to take to pottering around is anyone's guess, but I don't think he'll be happy. Brrrrmm, brrrrrmmm!
