Check out this website: Dubs Down Under It's my hobby site and as you can tell I've only just started it. I've spent countless years working on these things and writing about them, for fun and money. So one day I thought: "Why not add to the information on the web with a site of my own and invite everyone to join in who's got one or owns one in Australia?" Of course I haven't publicised the site yet (well, just one link somewhere), hence no feedback, but it's only been live a week or so and I just finished adding the pics of Douglas to it. I'm in the middle of rebuilding the front suspension on a '62 Porsche 356B and it's amazing how closely the king and link pin system looks to Douglas. The drum brakes may be larger and more powerful on the Porsche but the pins themselves are a direct replacement. No doubt that info will be explored further on the site. Kim, send me pics of Betty through the site and a few words. Yes, I know it's not here but you'll be soon and that's close enough! P |
