She spent a month in quarantine in Sydney before flying up here and us collecting her at the airport. She was so pleased to see us that she wouldn't stop talking - obviously so much to tell us that we'd missed out on! By the end of the day she'd lost her voice, and I'm not joking Can't speak too much of Perth because I've never been there (all of it is by the beach, isn't it? After all, it is built on sand) but Brisbane's Redcliff is popular with the Brits, although I think the sea is a little tame there. Brisbane's a great place but it's a fair way from the ocean as it's built around a river. You have to go 100km north (Sunshine Coast) or south (Gold Coast) for lovely golden sands and waves!
