GB have done exceptionally well - due in part to the way sport at this level is now funded, after the shambles of Atlanta, by a proportion of the lottery and also due to 2012. I think it's great. Lottery funding has definitely made a difference - no matter what people say I think the Olympics coming here in 2012 will have an even bigger impact. Shame I won't be here to witness it first hand.
