I'm normally not lost for words... Sails, wind, out of? A couple of friends were canoeing with dolphins somewhere around Glenelg last weekend. That was a trip by plane from Queensland for a day's canooeing and another day's sightseeing before returning back here. It sounds like they chose the better of the two weekends to go out to sea! I love posts like yours, Russ. Whether you have sea legs or not you can't help but feel the ocean spray and joy in what you've done and what you and Mrs Tyke are going to do. I think living in Australia is great. I really do. For me and Mrs Admin the weekend began with some tough cycling (that was just me) and then on Sunday a great coastal walk basking in 21 degrees and looking out for whales. The sea was so clear and gentle - no big waves this time around. And with Spring just around the corner (that's an English summer folks) you could just feel the excitement in yesterday's air as the beaches began to fill with bathers. Woohoo!!! back at ya! |
