Hoots man! G'day Duffer. Glad you decided to drop by. I live just a few miles from Peregian Beach, on the Sunny Coast, so I'm happy to give you some help wherever I can. We've only been here a few years but really like the place, although I would say it lacks any industry as far as work goes. Plenty of small to medium sized businesses, but bigger industries are further afield in Brisbane. As regards schooling, go to www.koalakonnection.com.au and see the free downloads bit in the top right hand corner of the site, click on that and there's a schools table report specifically for the Sunshine Coast schools that you can download free of charge. What's it like living in the top part of WA? My wife's expecting to fly up on work later this year. She's recently changed jobs and got employment in the mining industry as a technical writer. Some of her work will involve visiting the mines all over Australia so I'm looking forward to tagging along with the camera and notepad for some article writing of my own! It's a bit of a contrast to Scotland. I used to spend time in the Borders and still have friends up that way near Berwick.Be speaking to you soon. Paul. |
