I've worked jointly with the Government Meet and Greet service with people emigrating to Adelaide. In the past, I've had guests who have booked our rental also have booked the free Meet and Greet service and so both of us are waiting there at the airport! The Gov one offers loads of info/ maps of Adelaide and forms that you need to fill out for Medicare. They will talk you through what you need to do to get started in Aus. These people are volunteers themselves who wish to help and in my experience have always been warm hearted people. Personally I don't think you need to pay for a service like that, as after the jet lag has worn off, you'll be keen to do some exploring yourself and if someone has already pointed you in the right direction, do you really need to pay for an extra service?
