Sue Anglo's site is very comprehensive in this matter, isn't it? Their FAQ section is very good... but it does leave you a little over-whelmed. Take a look at Karman Shipping, a specialist vehicle-only shipping company. http://www.karmanshipping.co.uk/australia/australia.html This should answer all your queries, other than the one, well, is it really worth it? For that I suppose you could look into the cost of a similar vehicle here. Be aware that it is a lot easier to buy in the same state as you're intending to live. Sometimes each Australian state (or territory) is treated as if it was a different country and its registration of vehicles is just like that. A vehicle that is registered in South Australia, for example, won't be in Queensland. Each state has its own number plate type. I've bought two vehicles recently, one from SA and one from Victoria. Both will need to be registered for Queensland, a costly process, or so I'm told. Take a look at http://www.autotrader.com.au to see what the general market is for a vehicle like yours and http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/ and click the Australia button. Paul. PS. Have you taken advantage of the 75 quid saving booking your shipping through Anglo and mentioning us?
