We went to prism expat who looked at our pension statements and told us which ones would be useful to take over. Pauls is a 20yr pension and is worth a pretty penny, so they recommend he moves his over - but its all in the timing allegedly. My pension has only been running 6yrs and they have said leave it in the UK and just have it sent over when it matures when I am 50. Prism expat were excellent and Darion (I think he was called) is only 1 of 3 in the UK who is qualified to give you the advice you want. We didnt proceed further with them as we couldnt justify the cost the company would charge at the moment. But well worth taking in their advice. We had an hours meeting with them and he explained absolutely everything. |
