In the EE of teh TTT you see Aragorn calming down Brego. After he and Eowyn talk for a moment Aragorn says they need to set Brego free. Than after Aragorn falls down the cliff and if half death Brego comes to take him to Helmsdeep. But he is wearing his bridle. Don't they take it off when he is set free? And he wás set free. Otherwise they would have taken him with them back to Helmsdeep. |

Aragorn was the only one who could calm him down. I think Aragorn had choosen to keep Brego. Or to look at U point. maybe Brego was about to be set free. Maybe the unfortunate adventure was interrupting. |

Than why didn't they take Brego with them to Helms Deep? And I don't think Aragorn would have deceided to keep him, since his argument that he had gone through enough. |

But Brego is his horse. He also has him in ROTK. When they are at Dimholt, the horses get scared because of the death who lived there and Aragorn called him back. |

Yes after Brego saves him he becomes his horse. It's like they were bound to eachother and that's why Brego found him. But I still do not get it if they let Brego free. I would say yes, but that would not explain why he had his bridle still on. |

Maybe a mistake in the movie? There were a lot of mistakes. Frodo his blouse was taken by the orcs, but later when they were almost near Mount Doom, he is wearing his blouse again

Hahahaha! Maybe Sam bought it back from the orcs on the orcish market No, those orcs took it from Frodo and brought it to the great eye. Sam was searching for clothings to dress Frodo and then he brought back some orc clothes. But this was one of those official mistakes that were found in the movie

I get what you were saying about Brego and the bridle, SCP. Despite having seen the movie many times, I must see ttt ee again 'cause you've gotten me very curious. It's probably another mistake... |

Dakota on the wall is a white-robed woman, broad yet maidenly. Such power in her hand as she hails the wagon man's family. yeah recognition  I have seen the ttt much but not in the ee version, so I was very much surprised by the part with Aragorn and Eowyn. So I was thinking about that later and I came to think about Brego and the bridle. You are right about the shirt. I didn't think of that before. But I always loved the sight of these two little hobbits dressed up as orcs. |

Maybe they did try to set Brego free, but he reared up again and yanked the rope from the handler's hand as he ran off, freeing himself. He's actually wearing a halter, not a bridle, but interesting thing: Aragorn is half dead and has to roll onto the top of Brego, however he does manage to make the leadline into a makeshift bridle as he rides on to Helm's Deep. You can see it when he spots the massive army and goes the other way. Very interesting in deed.....
