I've heard of the Art of War and that it was good. It sure looked interesting while flipping through it, especially the format of it. Oh geez...let's see, top 10... 1. Wuthering Heights- Emily Bronte 2. The Transall Saga- Gary Paulsen There is a tie between 1 and 2 3. Homeland- R.A. Salvatore 4. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- Douglas Adams 5. Beowulf (technically it's an epic poem, but still literature) 6. The Tell Tale Heart- Edgar Allen Poe (short story...) That's all that's coming to mind at the moment, but you probably get the jist of the sort of books I'm into. R.A. Salvatore is an amazing fantasy author! His battle sequences are written very skillfully so that there is a lot of action and close details. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy would of course be on there! |

Dakota on the wall is a white-robed woman, broad yet maidenly. Such power in her hand as she hails the wagon man's family. ["Gold Rush Brides" by: 10,000 Maniacs] ' But while he was mortal, there must be some triumph... ' ~Jane Austen ...And she's climbing the Stairway to Heaven... Forget R-W! I'm moving to Middle-Earth! | |
